It is so important for each discipline in healthcare to work together, and your videos have helped me better understand the doctor’s perspective. Plus, I love your positive attitude even when your days are so busy! 😊
This is going to sound sappy, but as somebody with medical problems I would be honored to have a doctor like you. There are less doctors like you everyday and it is a shame. For the past six years I have had medical problems consistently and have seen a countless amount of doctors and I have had good ones, but I have also had some of the worst doctors that med school could produce. Even if they are amazing with medicine they were awful with their patient and their bedside manner. Some didn’t care about the patient, some didn’t care about the medicine and worse at least one of them didn’t care about either one. Keep up the good work. Your patients are incredibly lucky to have a doctor like you.
How? She literally vlogs everything, barely seems in a rush to help her patients. Like I know she doesn't use patients names, but for example if I saw this video, and lets say I was in her vlog for being suicidal, and she talks about a suicidal patient. I would know it's me, and I wouldn't want people even mentioning that!

Hi Violin MD, my name is Tom. I moved to America 3 years ago and I am deeply in love with being a doctor. But whenever I come up with the idea of attending to Med School, a lot of people (in my family also) seemly disagree about that, they told me the Language barrier is a huge problem when you immigrate from a country that English is their second language. I am trying to ignore them but I can't ignore my parents, they ask me not to take a risk because they need something to be steady in the future. I am a pre-med college student in Seattle, Washington and I am studying for my MCATS, I found your channel 3 months ago and you inspire me. Thank you for doing all this things. Sometimes, I feel really lost and I go to your channel, specifically, the "How to manage your stress as a doctor" video. I like it a lot, you taught me a lot of things from that. What you have done, partially, changed my life. Thank you so much.

Hi. I just want to let you know that you help me with my anxiety attacks which occur often. Your voice and videos are so calming to me. You're the reason I want to be in the Medical Field when I am older. Thanks. :)
I absolutely loved this video (and I hope it shuts up the people who think you're vlogging instead of doing your job)! More ones like this, please! Interesting about the glaucoma. I know about people who've lost their vision pretty early in life and both sides of my family are regularly tested for glaucoma.
I love watching these videos. I have Aspergers and potentially Fibromyalga. also im hopefully getting my breast reduction soon. seeing how the behind the scenes stuff at the hospitals work makes me feel calmer. much love!!
1:20 I happy to hear that you guys are constant teaching mode every month. That way nobody is ever rusty when any call comes in. I never knew that about hospitals, thanks for sharing your daily ins and outs at the hospital you work in.
My sister wants to be a nurse and she is a sophomore in high school. She is taking a medical class and is learning terms and the meanings of diseases. I am totally suggesting you to her!
I learn so much every time I watch your videos! Your intelligence and calm but bubbly personality is so refreshing! I always smile watching these videos :)
I just started in a medical assisting program, and it’s really interesting to hear some of the things you talk about on your channel, it just motivates me to keep going and keep on top of my school and education, one day I could work up to do something really awesome, like you. Love these videos!
I was born with Spina Bifida and spent my childhood in and out of hospitals. I really like watching your videos because it helps me understand what a medical student deals with day-to-day. I've always liked working with med/nursing students, but I think I'm going to enjoy it even more now, because I have learned enough from your videos to be able to ask questions about where they are in their program, what specialty they want to focus on, and other things that will make our conversations a lot more interesting.
Love your channel! You’re so positive and motivated to learn! I work as a speech language pathologist in a hospital and sometimes I wish we got as much credit as PT and OT when it comes to those large floor meetings. Sometimes dysphagia or cognition can be barriers to returning home, but ST as a vital therapy can be overlooked, which is a real bummer!
I’m extremely fascinated in being a trauma surgeon (I’m only 12 years old) I don’t get very queasy at the sight of blood and things that would freak out a normal person, I have watched countless surgeries, along with things about medical codes, etc. But seeing how you along with your fellow coworkers work through out the day, it makes me a bit nervous! But I’m so thankful there are people like you that actually show what actually goes on inside the hospital!
I’m 16 and currently want to become a registered nurse in adult nursing. I am the same I don’t get sick around blood or anything and I love an adrenaline boost. I also want to become part of the crash team (a code blue team in America and Canada) and I only have 2 years to go. Good luck 🤞
Such great messaging on teamwork and patients especially being the team. I am an RN (34 year career) and I look forward to your videos. Still intent on learning and teaching something each day! Cheers!
You seem like such an amazing doctor. You have a very.....I guess soothing presence. I wish you'd been my doctor when I got sick (and almost died) a few years ago.
Im a pediatric respiratory therapist and one of my nicu babies decided to brady/desat on us and we called the code and she came right back up with bagging and she was just looking around at everyone at her bedside and enjoying the extra attention she got haha
I love how you look so excited in your thumbnail to have the code blue pager. If that were me, I'd be like, "Ugh, no thank you." See, that is why you are a doctor and I am not. 😀 Seriously, it takes such a special person to do what you do, or just be in the medical field period. I have the upmost respect for you guys (nurses, doctors, medics, etc.).
Literally, I memorized all the codes (because I have nothing else to do) and we went to the doctor the other day, and the called a code yellow at first, then a code blue. I started to freak out and my family was looking at me like I was crazy😂
Wow I started watching your vids a couple of months ago. Recently started med school and kind of lost sight of the big picture. Watching this video (and your videos in general) continuously reminds me why all of the stuff and what seems like unnecessary minutiae I'm learning is important. Thank you for the inspiration.

You are amazing and so strong and want to be like you when I grow up
wow thank you so so much! You sound very passionate about health care - I'm sure you will be a wonderful nurse (or any other health care professional you want) one day!
When i was 12 I got very ill and I spent 4 months in and off of hospitals, to the point I needed a surgery, afterwards I started to recover and now I’m perfectly fine, but I got a phobia to hospitals, every time I went for just a consult or something harmless I started having anxiety, I think it was the trauma, and not only in the hospital but whenever I heard something about blood or a disease, but almost a year ago I started fighting this, I mean I can’t be Afraid of hospitals all my life, and now I’m doing pretty well with it. And let’s just say that your videos help me a lot, now I’m excited of seeing how the other side of the coin is being in a hospital, I’m 20 now. I’m in university and I’m not studying for being a doctor but I’ve a couple of close friends that are, now I can have a good conversation about what they are studying with not only being normal about it but also knowing a bit of what they are talking, thanks a lot! I truly mean it

I’ve just discovered your videos, they’re so interesting! I’m actually in pursuit to becoming a nurse BSN, so pray for me and my studies!
I love how you are so humble as a doctor! You understand a nurses point of view too!
I absolutely loved this video (and I hope it shuts up the people who think you're vlogging instead of doing your job)! More ones like this, please! Interesting about the glaucoma. I know about people who've lost their vision pretty early in life and both sides of my family are regularly tested for glaucoma.
Thanks Stina! i'm glad to hear your family is taking their health seriously... eye sight is so valuable, it's not something to play around with!
I work as VP of Mission in a Catholic hospital. I’m there to support and provide emotional support for our medical staff. Thanks for all you do!
I love watching these videos. I have Aspergers and potentially Fibromyalga. also im hopefully getting my breast reduction soon. seeing how the behind the scenes stuff at the hospitals work makes me feel calmer. much love!!
Hi Paige - i'm really glad to hear the video are helpful in that way! great to hear from you
1:20 I happy to hear that you guys are constant teaching mode every month. That way nobody is ever rusty when any call comes in. I never knew that about hospitals, thanks for sharing your daily ins and outs at the hospital you work in.
Hi I’m 13 and when I want to be a doctor and your my favourite doctor channel on UA-cam and your job looks amazing
Such a smart person. Truly special.
I just love that I can understand most of the medical language ! That medical terminology class payed off lol
My sister wants to be a nurse and she is a sophomore in high school. She is taking a medical class and is learning terms and the meanings of diseases. I am totally suggesting you to her!
yess another inspiration for me to continue my premedical studies ....................made my day
I learn so much every time I watch your videos! Your intelligence and calm but bubbly personality is so refreshing! I always smile watching these videos :)
You have one of the best jobs in the WORLD (to me)❤️❤️❤️
I agree, I feel very fortunate! i'm actually post call right now so it's a great reminder to hear you say that! thanks ❤️
I love your videos! They inspire me so much! I can't wait for the day I become a resident like that and have knowledge like you do.
This is awesome! Your videos are so informative and enjoyable! Also, I love your freckles!! 😁
I just started in a medical assisting program, and it’s really interesting to hear some of the things you talk about on your channel, it just motivates me to keep going and keep on top of my school and education, one day I could work up to do something really awesome, like you. Love these videos!
I’m so happy I found this channel I love you and it so much!!
Hi Sydney - thank you so much, i'm really glad you found it too!
I was born with Spina Bifida and spent my childhood in and out of hospitals. I really like watching your videos because it helps me understand what a medical student deals with day-to-day. I've always liked working with med/nursing students, but I think I'm going to enjoy it even more now, because I have learned enough from your videos to be able to ask questions about where they are in their program, what specialty they want to focus on, and other things that will make our conversations a lot more interesting.
i’m 13 and i love your videos!! i want to go into medical like you! love from germany 🇩🇪 ❤️❤️
Hi Abigail - great to hear from you!! so wonderful to hear you are dreaming about the future!
OMG me too😊
Love your channel!
I find your videos so interesting. I’m studying to be in the medical fields too.
Good luck 🤞
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH I binge watched like 10 of them last night.
aw really?? so happy to hear that! thanks!
Such great messaging on teamwork and patients especially being the team. I am an RN (34 year career) and I look forward to your videos. Still intent on learning and teaching something each day! Cheers!
can you please make a video explaining why you didn’t want to be a surgeon?
You seem like such an amazing doctor. You have a very.....I guess soothing presence.
I wish you'd been my doctor when I got sick (and almost died) a few years ago.
I love your videos it’s like a mini episode of a dr show on tv
Wonderful - so happy to hear that!
I really want to be a doctor when I get older and you give the best info! I really appreciate what you're doing! Keep up the good work!!
Dude I’m so glad I found you
I recently had my appendix removed 😢😭😞
She has taught me more than school ever will.
Its seems intense being a doctor. How do you let go of the stress that's put on you?
You're right, some days are really tough... i think you find what works for you. Personally, having friends and family to talk with makes a HUGE difference. plus taking the time to sleep every chance you get!!
Im a nursing student and i just came across your channel. Boy, how i am so glad for coming across your page. You’re such an amazing medical resident, wow! Keep it up, people like you in health care gives people positivity 😊
Never clicked on a video so fast
haha amazing! hope you enjoyed it!!
I'm 16 and have 2 years left until i go to university to study medicine. Really excited and your videos make me more excited. Love from belgium 🇧🇪
Did your father compose the background music ?
Nice melody.
I can't stop watching your videos even though I live this every single day as a 2nd year Neurology resident :D Love your material and your violin playing is phenomenal!!
Me: OMG A CODE BLUE
Music: OK GUYS PLAY THE MOST UPBEAT STUFF YA GOT
Omg the care and attention you take in filming and editing always amazes me especially as you are at work when filming! Really loving your vlogs this year thanks sweetheart xx
Have you ever had to call time of death? Bit morbid, but I’m still curious.
I’m so glad you did a full exam of that patient and checked for acute angle closure glaucoma. My mom lost part of her sight from the condition because a doctor didn’t do a thorough check when she went into the ER for severe migraines.
Appreciate doing all these being a Medical person :)
Thanks!
You seem like such a happy human! Love you're videos and energy 😍

Violin MD thank you
Hey Siobhan I love watching you at the hospital I hope to become a doctor in the feature you really inspire me
Do you refer to a log of diseases ? Or do you know a lot of them by heart ?
That’s been intriguing me!
Stephanie Cantu Ahh this is such a great question - would love to know this too! :)
A lot of it gets committed to memory from seeing different variations and symptoms of diseases I think - references are used sometimes too
When i was 12 I got very ill and I spent 4 months in and off of hospitals, to the point I needed a surgery, afterwards I started to recover and now I’m perfectly fine, but I got a phobia to hospitals, every time I went for just a consult or something harmless I started having anxiety, I think it was the trauma, and not only in the hospital but whenever I heard something about blood or a disease, but almost a year ago I started fighting this, I mean I can’t be Afraid of hospitals all my life, and now I’m doing pretty well with it.
