So I wanted to thank you and please continue putting these videos out because they really do help
Hi!! I am a caregiver for a young lady with cerebral palsy, and wanted to tell you that she is a huge fan of yours! She loves to prentend that she is your work partner 😊. She watched all your videos and her favorites are the "code blue" ones 😄🥰. Continue your awesome work! Stay safe!
I‘ m a med student myself and anxious about finally being a doctor and taking on this huge responsibility. I like how everybody just goes with you vlogging and stuff :)
I just found this channel - literally in love with it. She seems so genuine about everything, not overdramatizing anything. I love studying human biology and human anatomy and want to become a forensics investigator in the future (medicine has crossed my mind lots as a kid). I’m currently finish grade 12 and I just want to say that I REALLY appreciate this channel.❤️ Doctors, keep doing what you’re doing. I love you all for what you do.
I’m also a Canadian and I’m trying to “hear her accent” but as you can guess I can’t because it just sounds normal to me, what sounds different to you?/what did she say that really stood out?
You are literally the happiest doc I've seen! How do you keep up you're amazing and positive energy?! I can tell you really enjoy what you do, but I am sure there are some down points. So glad I found you!
I thought the same thing, I wish more er docs were like this. The ones I typically get the pleasure of conversing with are so condescending it’s disheartening. I avoid the hospital like the plague because of my past experiences.
I have to ask: what is your skin and beauty routine? You are always glowing, despite working long hours and subjection to stress. I'm a 1st year nursing student and, during clinicals, I don't like the idea of wearing a lot of makeup. Yet, I don't want to look tired or unprofessional. What do you suggest? Thank you, Siobhan, I love you!
These people seem like the nicest doctors on earth to be treating the sick. I appreciate the kindness and humility they give to their patients and when on the camera. Some doctors here in the United States seem to be very anti-social towards us and don't always explain the full picture.
She has a pre-recorded set for most of it, I think, other than that all she has to do is turn her phone on and swipe for the camera. She doesn’t always use a professional camera or a traditional camera, sometimes it’s just her phone.
Can we also remember that when a code blue happens she is not the only person going to it there will already be people dealing with it they’re just asking for all nurses and doctors
cole mason She still running dare she just grabs her phone and records all of the stuff that’s in the rooms are pre-recorded so she isn’t actually standing there filming a needle it’s pre-recorded
@@colemason7443 Except she isn't. Notice how all the shots are in empty hallways, stairwells, and offices? She never mentions patients' personal details. The only people she films are her coworkers, who can agree ahead of time. A lot of shots are likely recreations, patched together from footage filmed during free time and after the fact.
cole mason she has to have her phone on her because in the hospital some areas don’t get radio coverage and and her medical textbooks are on there ( it is aloud in every hospital) she can run turn on the camera and keep running
I love doctors that love their job & not for the money.. She’s amazing on everything she does she very lucky and I couldn’t be more happy for her♥️ MAY GOD BLESS YOU❣️
I’ve never ever seen a hospital staff so willing to help and not be rude to each other. I’ve been on both sides of this, working in the hospital and being in it and they’re always against each other. I’m glad to see other hospitals aren’t like this… at least not here
Very impressed by the vast majority of medical staff that I have met. You are no exception. Your dedication is clearly on display. Keep up the amazing work that you do. I know it is an incredibly difficult job.
omg, your videos give out such great positive, calming yet nurturing vibes during those interactions with the juniors despite the clear gravity of the situations. i hope i get to run into an smr like you and be as good a junior when my time comes around. you the dr we all wish we will have when we're a patient, and the inspiration we look up to in the chaos of the hospital ground
What a pleasant woman...must be lovely to work with If only more health care workers had such class..... Way to go ...you rock You could look after my loved ones any day !!!!
yeah, same!! I would get so anxious or freeze in those type of situations. I worked in hopsital for 1 month. Not for me at all. I prefer to working out in the community.
Well at least you tried I mean I couldn't even attempt to do what you did even for a short time. That's why I'm gonna be an elementary school teacher instead lol
But still the thought of someone just having a chance of dying in front of me scares me. I mean I guess that's why only a few people are doctors/nurses right?
You give me hope! My dream is to be a PA eventually a physician. You have such a great attitude and ability to blend friendliness with professionalism!!
I am not a person who will binge video's but with you I can't get to many video's keep up the great work! wow i am not the person who normaly gets this many like youtube is crazy right now
Great showing what a ER doctor does on your 12 hour shift I have been a EMT for 25 years And in the fire service for 30 years We are a great team doing the same job To be able to treat anyone in need today When being called out and never have any idea what the call will be when on site Every call is never the same and the treatment is never the same We run over 1000 calls a month with rescue and fire calls together Great job well done
I find this so cool to see behind the scenes. I usually end up coming to the ER for some sort of injury yearly for the past decade. I praise you guys on the amazing job you do! Thank you for all your hard work as I am Canadian as well! 🇨🇦
Yep. Your username checks out with most of the people at my local hospital. If someone drops down with a cardiac arrest in the hospital, more people are likely to get out their camera and film, than are actually likely to help by giving CPR. Internal security have a few choice words for those filming, and most end with "off".
I respected doctors but seeing these videos puts it on a whole different level. Thank you so much for dedicating your life to helping people and saving there lives there’s no words to say how much I appreciate it
Some of this probably needs to be staged for legal reasons (pretty sure there's no way you'd be able to legally film conversations about patients on the fly, they'd likely reveal private information and then the footage wouldn't be usable/would have to be edited very awkwardly). But the content of the convos seems pretty genuine. She probably asks the staff to re-do a more "anonymous" version of whatever they discuss.
So glad to know that you're right on it when the beeper goes off. Being there in the hospital is a busy place. God bless you for all you do for the people who are sick and need your help.
This is the best channel I have ever came across. THANK YOU for showing us the reality of the medical field. You seem like a fantastic fit for this position.
One time I said to my mum “I hope it’s quiet at work today” (she’s a nurse) and mum was like “ ayeeee don’t say that, whenever someone says that something major always happens” and that day I said that someone passed away I front of her 😑
@@airforce262able yeah I understand that, and I respect the job she does greatly. I just feel so personally awkward when she's talking with co-workers, it seems so forced and often who ever she's talking to is visibly uncomfortable with a camera in their face.
@@theforeverfalling Dude there's always that person that just loves to interact with other people. She's not awkward it's the people She's talking to. Now a days you can't have a simple conversation with a stranger or friends without them getting uncomfortable.

I like when you say you haven't had 'fresh air in 24 hours' but ... the air in the hospital is quite possibly the cleanest air you'll ever breathe lol. But yea. I have seen many videos before this, loved it. It's just ... Well, my grandmother passed away a week or so ago, and she had a DnR. It's just a different outlook on what it might have been like if she was in a hospital without a DnR. I am still amazed, and the dedication to your work is great. Keep up the awesome work, teach those youngins the ropes and keep truckin!
I just wanted to add. That today is Friday. And tomorrow is my grandmothers memorial here in town. I find myself watching older videos and getting a form of calmness knowing that there are people like you working the hospitals with those trying to improve the quality of life and health of those around you. Again i say keep going. There aren't enough people like you in the world.
Doctors and nurses are special people. Long hours and hard work. I asked my lung transplant Doctors if they had a life outside the hospital .I was hospitalized 6 months and got to know them. I was taking NAC with L Arginine and Curcumin to keep my bad lungs going. I had IPF
Indeed, not much time at all. My fiance has already done almost three calls back to back and you the poor thing could not get the words of his sentence in the right order!

I just want to say Siobhan that I am in nursing school right now and watching your videos (when I am on break or when I’m done studying my notes LOL) help push me to continue even though it’s pretty tough!

You must be a doctor by now. BTW I too am a medical aspirant ....
I hope you made it 🥰
Update: I made it 😊 been a doctor for the last two years and i went into anesthesiology 🎉
I just found this channel - literally in love with it. She seems so genuine about everything, not overdramatizing anything. I love studying human biology and human anatomy and want to become a forensics investigator in the future (medicine has crossed my mind lots as a kid).
I’m currently finish grade 12 and I just want to say that I REALLY appreciate this channel.❤️
Doctors, keep doing what you’re doing. I love you all for what you do.
Clearly Canadian. The accent is strong in this one 😂
B H Torontonian accent 😄

Cierra Hauck BB cream, a bit of undereye concealer, brown mascara and a lip stain 😉
@@lilianagomez7031 awesome! Thanks! I just got some Pacifica CC cream, so it's a bit different, but hopefully I get simular results
Cierra Hauck Also stay positive and happy as much as you can, it helps tremendously and makes you look 10x younger naturally ☺️
@@BlackButterFlyAquari So true! That may be the best beauty tip out there for any occasion. Positivity can be a super power :-)
These people seem like the nicest doctors on earth to be treating the sick. I appreciate the kindness and humility they give to their patients and when on the camera. Some doctors here in the United States seem to be very anti-social towards us and don't always explain the full picture.
first of all I’m trying to figure out why she vlogging when there is a code blue🤣🤣
She has a pre-recorded set for most of it, I think, other than that all she has to do is turn her phone on and swipe for the camera. She doesn’t always use a professional camera or a traditional camera, sometimes it’s just her phone.
That's what my mom said she goes "why is she smiling when someone's having a stroke"😂😂😂😂
dani moores lol she’s always so positive, I love it
Idk why but It actually looks more like a movie then a vlog
She records the actual code then vlogs the Dx. After the fact
Can we also remember that when a code blue happens she is not the only person going to it there will already be people dealing with it they’re just asking for all nurses and doctors
If she is putting her first priority on her blog than these Patients then she should probably think about quitting her job.
cole mason She still running dare she just grabs her phone and records all of the stuff that’s in the rooms are pre-recorded so she isn’t actually standing there filming a needle it’s pre-recorded
Nichelemmon On instagram I don’t want my nurse thinking, “oh I’m being called in!!!! Hold on let me grab my phone for my blog.”
cole mason she has to have her phone on her because in the hospital some areas don’t get radio coverage and and her medical textbooks are on there ( it is aloud in every hospital) she can run turn on the camera and keep running
I love doctors that love their job & not for the money.. She’s amazing on everything she does she very lucky and I couldn’t be more happy for her♥️ MAY GOD BLESS YOU❣️
I feel like when I would run up the stairs I would fall face first into the stairs😂😂😂

I’ve never ever seen a hospital staff so willing to help and not be rude to each other.
I’ve been on both sides of this, working in the hospital and being in it and they’re always against each other. I’m glad to see other hospitals aren’t like this… at least not here
I think you’re such an inspiration... continue your hard work❤️
Very impressed by the vast majority of medical staff that I have met. You are no exception. Your dedication is clearly on display. Keep up the amazing work that you do. I know it is an incredibly difficult job.

Code blues make me anxious and I’m not even a doctor. If I was I wouldn’t be a good one. I’m glad you can stay so calm I’m actually jealous lol
yeah, same!!
As a resident, you don't do anything during a code blue. You stand there and listen to the attending and you put in orders.
Go through dozens of them and the nervousness goes away.
But still the thought of someone just having a chance of dying in front of me scares me.
I mean I guess that's why only a few people are doctors/nurses right?
I'm going to start nursing school in september. It's not the same but I still love to watch this and learn any way i can :)
Good luck!! 🌞
Good luck!
Ahhh me too, what will you specialise in?

Tbh I forgot what code blue means
Btw I just started the video
1,000 like boi
Kara Williams Code blue means someone’s heart has stopped and they’re technically dead. Someone must try to revive them immediately.
I'm a high schooler in a technical school (with a medical arts program) and It is so cool to see the words we learn in action!
I respected doctors but seeing these videos puts it on a whole different level. Thank you so much for dedicating your life to helping people and saving there lives there’s no words to say how much I appreciate it
You are too cute! Love your interactions with coworkers and your teaching methods. You’re calm, kind, always smiling!
Teddy James a lot of the cases from the shows are based on real life cases that have been spiced up for entertainment purposes
Richo cheted actually you can’t release name, DOB, SS# etc.
thats what shes doing, shes not gonna film when someone's gonna die
the phone calls probably are in the moment, just any details would be cropped out. the recordings of code blues are definitely after the fact
Thank you for showing us how hard it is to be a doctor. My mother is a doctor here in Ohio at the Cleveland clinic ! She works very hard
How do you no she works hard
So glad to know that you're right on it when the beeper goes off. Being there in the hospital is a busy place. God bless you for all you do for the people who are sick and need your help.

I can really tell she loves what she does , it shows 😍
One time I said to my mum “I hope it’s quiet at work today” (she’s a nurse) and mum was like “ ayeeee don’t say that, whenever someone says that something major always happens” and that day I said that someone passed away I front of her 😑

I LOVE when you introduce yourself. It is always the same way in every video.
Also, your music is so relaxing...
Your interactions with coworkers are incredibly hard to watch.
Don't watch it .....
With what they go through.. You have to have a sense of humor to ease some stress.
@@airforce262able yeah I understand that, and I respect the job she does greatly. I just feel so personally awkward when she's talking with co-workers, it seems so forced and often who ever she's talking to is visibly uncomfortable with a camera in their face.
Cali_Boy19 bro if you genuinely think that these are real interactions and not painfully, awkwardly scripted then you need to get a grip lmao
@@theforeverfalling Dude there's always that person that just loves to interact with other people. She's not awkward it's the people She's talking to. Now a days you can't have a simple conversation with a stranger or friends without them getting uncomfortable.

But yea. I have seen many videos before this, loved it. It's just ...
Well, my grandmother passed away a week or so ago, and she had a DnR. It's just a different outlook on what it might have been like if she was in a hospital without a DnR. I am still amazed, and the dedication to your work is great. Keep up the awesome work, teach those youngins the ropes and keep truckin!
it’s kinda stale and there are lots of germs depending on the ward
I had IPF
