I would just love to show you a second of serious appreciation... as a nurse, the fact that you got that page about the extreme abdominal pain and actually came running just solidifies how much I'd love to work with you. I know that physicians are incredibly busy, so I'm not going to page you stat unless I need you stat... and it's so often pulling teeth to get the doc to come put eyes on the patient when all you want to do is scream PLEASE JUST COME UP HERE. And I'm sure they're tremendously busy on their own end and just want to gather as much information as possible to make sure it's a real urgency.. but still, it's just hard when you're concerned about your patients wellbeing. I can tell you definitely care about your patients, and that's so wonderful to see. Tons of appreciation for you.

I like watching this. I'm a PGY2 Podiatry in the US and my particular program doesn't have hours like that but it's nice to see what other residents and specialties go through on a daily basis. It takes hardcore dedication to do that, especially with 26 hr shifts adn stuff

You’re so relatable and informative and it’s so fun to see things from your side as a Doctor in a busy hospital. I don’t know how you do all of those long shifts! When you were talking about the old guy and you said “ often these things take time” I related sooo much. Took 9 months 10 procedures lots of blood work and literally living at the doctors offices and tons of medication ( tons)! for them to figure what’s going on with me. I couldn’t eat so I ate once a day and it was a smoothie and saltines. I stayed in bed for weeeks. It was horrible but we finally figured out what was going on and as soon as a I started treatment and got put on a special diet I instantly felt so much better... so thankful my doctor who really didn’t think I needed to do a test went ahead and did it anyway. If he didn’t do the test I would still be sick.
