FINALLY...FINALLY...FINALLY...A TECH UA-camR HAS FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGED THESE MONITORS AND ACTUALLY DID A REVIEW ON THEM. Its been flat out bizarre that these monitors have received absolutely NO ATTENTION whatsoever from the tech community. I waited 6 months for reviews of which are non existen on youtube and very hard to fine online anywhere, so I went ahead and went with a different monitor (The DELL U2717D) of which I've been very happy with. Thanks for these reviews nonetheless.

A trip down memory lane... back in the days I was interested in this very monitor. Found your video and finally bought it. It's also how I got subscribed in the first place. Few years later, I am still subscribed and the monitor holds up well. Even though I am about to replace it with an ultra widescreen. oO

Back in 2018 I watched your video and bought this 32 inch monitor and I've been very happy with it for the past few years, I wish Samsung would produce this or something similar to this monitor in terms of both design and specs. Almost every gaming monitor out there has incredible specs like high resolution, high refresh rate and high color accuracy, but almost all of them seem to have a "V" shaped stand, which doesn't look as good as the one on this monitor in my opinion.

I'm 27 years old. I've been on a highest of 75hz panels all my life. Just this year did I try out a 144hz monitor, oh my god. You can't go back. Even if it was freesync and at 144hz, "fast-sync" on Nvidia 10series and up have that feature in control panel, and it's really not that bad, I mean I'm commit murder here using a an Asus 1080 on an Asus MG278Q as it is free sync, but it's not that bad, I notice no tearing ever.
Age was mentioned because I'm trying to emphasize how much of a difference higher refresh-rates are. Even if you do a miniscule amount of gaming, I would still suggest 144hz+ monitors, even if it doesn't have any of this tech. It's worth it.

  • @invinciblereason1618

Just ordered a 27 inch one for £250 reduced from 430. I was looking for an affordable 27 inch 2k monitor with thin bezels and good colour and contrast so it suits me perfectly. The only cons I'm seeing is that it doesn't have speakers, a VESA mount and that the stand/monitor may be too big. Well, for one i never use speakers. I only use headphones. Secondly, the vesa thing is probably for the 32 inch and i don't mount TV's anyway even my 50 inch is sitting perfectly opposite my bed on a cabinet. And thirdly, i have a massive desk so size doesn't bother me. 27 is the perfect size for me, not too big and not too small and imo the sweet spot for 2k. At normal price i see the points and agree to an extent but i don't think you can ask for much more at it's current amazon price of £250. Even some 1080p monitors are that price. There was only 2 left in stock so i ordered it right away and now will wait for 2 days. It's a good job i found it when i did because they are still 360+ pounds from other retailers.

I'm debating on getting this, or the Acer XZ350CU. The Acer is the larger, but is 1080p, but has 1440hz. There are a few games that I know I get 140+ Hz right now on a normal 16:9 at 1080p on all maxed out.
On one hand, i could get a nicer image, with the Samsung, or I could over double my FPS, in games like Rainbow 6 Siege, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Destiny 2. I know I get 120+ FPS in those games right now.
Wait, is this not an ultrawide monitor?

0:35 I doubt that is the case. The adaptive sync yes, but the 75Hz can easily be selected in the nVidia Control Panel ---> Display ---> Change Resolution ---> 2. Choose resolution and then Customize to 75Hz. It works on my LG with same adaptive sync situation.

I bought one of these and returned it the next day. It had insane banding across the screen that often plagues VA panels, only where with most of them it's vertical, this one was horizontal banding. It was the worst case I've ever seen of banding to the point where it looked like it had images burned into the screen like an old CRT. I couldn't even play Skyrim because it was so distracting and just ruined the picture.
I'm not saying that this was a poor review by any means, but it seems like many reviewers don't even seem to notice or mention things like banding. It's typically not terribly visible when you're looking at static images, but it tends to be far more apparent with moving images, especially in games. Skyrim is always on my list of tests for monitors because something about the colors and the sky, everything just really brings out any flaws in the panel.
It's possible this was a fluke, but I had gone through so many monitors with banding issues that I didn't care to try another one. Also, it's always possible that Samsung cherry picked the ones they sent to Tom and it just wasn't as pronounced on these.

Chillhoof I ended up with an IPS panel, and I honestly don't find the glow to be a bother in the slightest. Even sitting in a dark room the majority of the time, I still don't even notice it. The one thing I did have a lot of trouble with is finding an IPS model that had some level of acceptable backlight bleed. I went through several that were just atrocious to the point where I absolutely could not believe that a company would sell such garbage. I finally bit the bullet and threw down some cash on an ASUS ROG Swift P729Q, and it's been great.

Hi there! I'd really love some help on choosing a decent monitor! i've watched a lot of your explanation videos on monitors which have helped really well so far. However i am very much interested in a white or silver monitor to match my set up, but the selection is pretty limited for what i am after! I am an artist but also want to game now and then. ive narrowed my selection down to the IIYAMA ProLite XUB2792QSU 27" QHD and the Samsung Cf591 Series Curved 27-Inch Fhd Monitor (C27F591). which one would you ultimately reccomend for a gamer/artist? thank you so much! Emily x

I'm looking for a monitor specifically for gaming on a Xbox One S/X. Would you recommend the Samsung CH711 or the CHG70 for the xbox console? Would the 1ms response time make a huge difference from 4ms of the CH711? Also, how do you get to display the green fps counter on the top left corner? Thanks in advance and great videos!

Jorge Rivas the lower ms you have the better, causing less input lag. I’d recommend 4ms or less for gaming, 1ms being the best you can get from a monitor.

What a shame that the ps5 won't support native 1440p

    Sziasztok!
Mac részről: Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro, böngészés, Apple TV, HBG GO
    Köszönöm előre is a segítségetek!
Szuper volt a videó is, így tovább!

Can't really decide between 32 inch and 34 ultrawide . Here to see what 34 inch's vertical looks like since it shares same vertical height with 27 inch. Please anyone uses both or used can give some opinions about this ? I've been using 24 inch for many years and it's time to upgrade this old boi.
