The back doors, Man they suck. I'd like to see you put a long back gate that swivels at the top with pins you slide out at the bottom to dump or if you're feeling froggy put hydraulic or electric pins on like a toggle switch for a no smash your skin rear end. You guys did an awesome job.
It looks like you are building the trailers in quantity. A simple table jig would really help and ensure accuracy and speed production. You guys can obviously cut and weld steel and a jig would help tremendously. You have the right work attitude anyway.

Yes, if we were to build in quantity we would build jigs to speed up the process, but as of now we only build one trailer per blueprint we offer.

The cost of Steel will be biggest cost factor as that price fluctuates all the time and varies on location. Steel prices may be vastly different where we are compared to you.

In the instruction portion on the plans on page 6 it talks about what sheet material is needed for floor and side walls. It also gives options for different thickness sheets you could use.
What hub face size n spring center did you use? Im actually planning to build one of these exact builds myself. Also not to sure on the steel framing, where did you buy yours from?
Impossible to quote because you have to buy your steel locally so prices will vary a lot. But it should cost about 1/3 the price of buying a factory built trailer.
A new one is about $15,000 there parts kit alone is over $5,000 with no steel. Also a lot of the parts in there parts kit are not the ones pictured in the video I/e fenders in the kit are the cheapies the tongue jack is a cheapy. My thought is at least price the parts you shown in the video.

I bought a set of 5k axles from these guys 18 months ago to rebuild a utility trailer. When I calculated the cost to build one of these dump trailers, it was about 1/3 the cost of buying a factory built unit of comparable quality. These guys have the best prices for quality axles and they are nice guys in real life.

yes they do need a tarp kit. Its actually a law in most states do to people being tired of loosing windshields or being behind a dust storm

Wish the plans were offered in a telescopic design as well as a gooseneck design, Scissor lifts are quickly becoming outdated in the market
