I was there with my daughter, what an incredible atmosphere! So proud ❤
Congratulations!!! Lucky you🎉
Watching and enjoying the atmosphere from Canada.
Not a football fan at all but as a Welsh person, I just feel so proud!
This has been an amazing moment not just for Wrexham but for Wales as a whole.
Well done guys 🎉🎉
Rob flew back just for this. Stand up guy.
Rob is so invested in both men and woman's game. Top guy, well done Rob.
And he be at the games too from the US to Wales 😂
@Slippery Jim fellow podcast creep?
Ahoy!
Yeah he was saying this was his 8th or 9th trip so far this year
I love how much Rob and Ryan are really invested in their team not just financially but the amount of encouragement and moral they also provide to their players just brilliant to see.
Top guys, both of them.
So all u need is a famous person to buy a lower division club and hey presto loads of publicity
@@danielhubson1786 Yeah i mean why not? If a Celebrity is serious about the development of a club and town why not? I mean there are Rich people who buy clubs but didn't have a proper plan or want to spend a dime on the club's development. So what's your point?
Let's not forget that the women's team also became champions in their league. Double celebration!
who cares?
@@barrysmithhy1583 he obviously does
And they're also there in the parade; as a matter of fact, Ryan and Rob were on THEIR bus! That's something I absolutely loved about this
@@barrysmithhy1583 Did your crush reject you because you're ugly and now you hate all women? Incel virgins...
Well Done Wrexham Rob & Ryan. Promotion next season, make it happen guys and have another parade like today.
the entire story is just uplifting and fun to watch...I don't even like football/soccer (whatever) but I am enjoying this ride wrexham is on.
I am the same. I spent all day Monday watching "Welcome to Wrexham" I thoroughly enjoyed it, and watched all episodes back to back. I was sorry to see it end. Hope there is a series two.
@@marcduncan6539 There will certainly be a season 2.
When you look at what the old owner did and the impact that had. It makes for a good film.
@@marcduncan6539there will be a season 3 as well! I also am loving the journey they are on. I’m not a football fan but Wrexham have gained a supporter in me!
Welsh people are the best, I was there when the Wales National team lost the Euro semi's and came home, the whole of Cardiff was filled with passionate fans of all ages and the atmosphere felt like they actually won the cup. One of the best moments of my life. Much love to Cymru and congratulations Wrexham F.C. Hope to see you in the Premier League soon.
You’ve clearly never been in Cardiff for a Wales six nations rugby game. Ugly scenes esp if they lose.
@gallardo43- Thank you - from a Welshman from Wrexham.
She's not the "self-described Welsh translator". She is the actual Welsh translator employed by the show.
I found that to be a weird comment too. 😂
I don't follow football/soccer, but Wrexham kept popping up in my feed. I'm hooked watching clips, the documentary and seeing how amazingly supportive the Wrexham community is. The world needs this kind of stuff right now. Well done, Wrexham, Rob & Ryan.
I swear that I will pay true allegiance to Ryan and Rob, and to your heirs and Wrexham successors according to law. So help me God.
don't make it weird 🙃
@@user-ts5dx7qm4z hahahahahahaha you should be more serious, no ?
“Mac finds his pride”
He had to, Because of the implications 🤣
Texas here... I don't watch football at all, never a fan of any club, but I am watching anything Wrexham I come across. I have no idea why it's so interesting, but the whole story and the series of events leading to the team promotion is just addicting for whatever reason. Always love an underdog story... and they've done a wonderful job making the whole journey fun to digest and absorb.
@@bradleylowman5822 yeah i'm going to have to go watch some of the full games. can you please explain offsides to me? (j/k)
@Bradley Lowman I've noticed a lot of American fans have now learnt and understood the importance of relegation and promotion in order to make sports competitive! Frankly, that's probably why the rest of the world doesn't share the same passion for your American sports, there is no jeopardy. I love that you are all becoming more passionate for the English game, and not for the wrong reasons, you understand what makes it interesting and exciting. The MLS needs a major shake-up, it's boring, and yes Wrexham would slaughter the league.
fascist Texas,
Don't you watch football because you fired your assault rifle?
CONGRATS TO BOTH THE WOMENS AND MENS TEAMS AND ALL THOSE INVOLVED AND THE FANS !!!
Hey all club owners....are you watching???? This is how you do it!!!!
Very awesome McIlhenny and Reynolds took control of neighborhood football club and turned it around!
From Costa Rica, Central America, greetings and congratulations to the city of Wrexham, to its men's and women's football teams, and to Mr. Rob and Mr. Ryan.
I loved the first season of "Welcome to Wrexham" and am looking forward to the second season.
Congratulations from south Wales 🏴
I’m so happy for Wrexham and AFC and the entire community! Much love from Seattle, WA!
Good Luck next season great to see you back in the football league
Proud of Rob and Ryan- these guys are so real. It truly is a Cinderella story.
Wrexham defo got lucky here - not just new owners who actually care, but celebrities and that will help a lot: no team outside PL gets so much publicity
how is this not going to be a feel good movie in a very tired world!
It's a feel good series.
Ryan grew up in a country not known for football, 🇨🇦 but he's loving it when the team and fans can get so excited. Congratulations Wrexham!
I mean Rob grew up in a country where football (in his younger days) also was really on a low point.
The MLS for example was introduced when he was already 19 years old. And beside some singular star signings,m the US wasn't also not known.
@@TheLibermaniaRob grew up in a city with a Football team that is known for low scores 🤣 Philadelphia.
As an English Red,( there are a few of us) , I watched Wxm from 1972-1981, and went to Yale college behind the club..Saw the Oldham 5-1 stuffing and York 3-0 wins .
Wish I could have there , never mind this is great .
Wrecsam am Byth 😄
Very happy to see both men and women teams ! Bravo !
excellent im so glad to see that community so happy and excited
Congrats Wrexham from (sunny) Philadelphia!!
It always is….
It's always sunny in Philadelphia 👍
Congratulations Wrexham on both men and women winning their respective league titles. Their Women will be in the Genero Adran Premier and the Men will be in the EFL League Two. If successful the 24/45 season could see the women in the UEFA Champions League and the men in EFL League One. 🏴
Congratulations Wrexham again for winning the Champion! What a ride you guys have and it is glorious!
League Two will be a hard one to beat but given how well everyone stick together, never say never. Aim high and dream big, that is how to make an unlikely scenario become true❤
From a Liverpool fan
You will NEVER walk alone!
Lucky enough to live in beautiful Wales, I'm an English girl, born just over the border in Chester. Both my boys were born in Wrexham and I tell them, often, how important it is to be proud of their roots. We were there on Tuesday, enjoying every minute of it. Being English too, my husband is very patriotic, and I don't half wind him up saying I'm buying myself a Wrexham shirt, if I can get one that is! But I wouldn't just wear it to wind him up, I'd wear it with pride. After all, I am a secret Welshie at heart. ❤
Best thing to ever happen to Wrexham and this is from a Chirker. Congratulations to a very happy town.
Great story for Wrexham and Wales.
Get in there Wrexham!!!
You deserve it!!! 🏴🏴🏴🏴
Congrats from Poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is great
We need more events and fun on the streets
Giving people hope, putting eyes on their worth, miracle results.
Congratulations Wrexham! I’m a Liverpool fan and am in California, but I’ve been watching and rooting for your lovely town, and your team. I wish you all the best and I hope you can work your way all the way to the premier league so Liverpool can come to the racetrack!
...or the _Racecourse_ even....but I we get what you meant. Maybe one-day...who knows 👍😉
@@Red_Snappa Ha ha ha! Yes, thanks for the correction. I think maybe that was an autocorrected mistake, so I’m blaming it on my tablet…I would never insult your grounds intentionally. Much love!
These two guys need to be protected at all costs.
Great story. Go Wrexham! From Auckland New Zealand
Well done Wrexham great to see
Just goes to show if you buy a club for the right reasons amazing things can happen. A lot of Premier League clubs have owners who just want the Toy to play with.
Newcastle fan and very happy with our owners.... but damn I'd love to have Ryan and Rob Haha.
No kidding. Unfortunately Ryan and Rob don’t have enough money to get them past their next challenge. Perhaps some investors will come in but they’ll never make the championship imo
@@ClihtYeastwood think you’ve underestimated how rich Ryan Reynolds is and how relatively little money there is outside the prem. there are only eight clubs in the championship with wealthier owners than Wrexham
@@nottopcat5956 Indeed, Reynolds has made some very big moves outside of the movies. He's quite possibly a billionaire..
Yeah he sold his stake in mint mobile for 1.4 bilion dollars so he can spend a bit i think
Mint mobile was sold for ~$1.4bn. Reynolds made ~$300 million from the sale. Not exactly pocket change, but he did not make 1.4 billion dollars.
So happy to learn of Wrexham (I've been a fan of futbol since a little girl and never knew) and in 2023 to have an underdog makes good in the flesh just gives hope for all things
As a national league supporter I can 100 percent tell you that in no way are Wrexham underdogs
@@stealth3409 how so just because they got new owners and invested right notts county spent as much yet people only cry about wrexham.
This is why I love them! ❤
Congratulations all the way from Malaysia
Congratulations Wrexham, Ryan and Rob. 🏴🏴🏴
Wrexham!! Up the Town!! 🏴🏆🥳
I love Wrexham & Chillingbourne. ❤❤
Rob and Ryan were always the correct people to buy this club hopefully they can keep Ben foster for another year and my god imagine if they really did bale out of retirement what a signing he would be it won’t happen he’s even said no already but due to the fact it’s a welsh club and back in the football league if they keep pushing him I’d be surprised if he said no but even still regardless of that rob and Ryan have done an amazing job and hope they keep going will follow them all the way through there journey and that’s from a West Ham fan absolutely brilliant underdog club and story❤
The first documentary series they made when they first took over is absolutely brilliant even though they didn’t win the league. I can’t wait for season 2.
That's something. Well done.
Welcome to wrexham season 2-3 will kill it.
Love those two!👍
That dragon welcome sign is absolutely kicking ass!
Go Wrexham! 🏴🇺🇸
Cheers from Indonesia🎉
Awesome 🎉
Lovely!!

WREXHAM ! WREXHAM !
Cute to see Rob and Ryan on the bus with the women’s football team! 🎉🎉🎉🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
Leading bus is Ex London General PVL72 W472WGH
Welsh is such a cool sounding language.
Love from Africa Nigeria❤❤❤🎉
I'm living in Australia, now a fan of Wrexham
Just watched Ted Lasso - was expecting to see Danni and Jamie on the bus -- the stories are so alike (glad Wrexham is real)
This is just amazing 😢❤😊

I think we needed this. Some joy in these bleak, hateful times. God bless Ryan and Rob for investing not just their money but their hearts in a beautiful way. I love that we actually have another country that doesn’t think that we are all idiots in the US!
Good for them, they deserve it ❤
Wonderful
Toon fan here, but this is still mint to see.
damn more supporters than man city
😂
“The gang gets promoted”
YOU ONLY HAVE TO LOOK AT LUTON TOWN - WOW - And they are close to it in maybe 6-8 seasons without anything like Wrexham now have. Definitely dream BIG!
Larger number of fans than at Man City’s title parades
Wish they would have shown the bit where the actual parade was this is like the back roads to the actual parade 😂
Gotta love the heli teli
Can't wait to watch this on welcome to Wrexham. 🤣👍👍
It’s a lovely good news story.
Oh yeah, getr done champ. Well done
U know what it's like, u spend 15 years waiting for a bus n 3 come along at once
What a fantastic owners Rob and Ryan have been. Clearly, they want this club to be there at the top. And also, I wonder who are they shouting "One more year!" to...
Congrats!❤
Breaking news: The reporter is madly in-love with the Wrecsam Mascot 😍
Brilliant coverage from the BBC
love the coverage
I just wish the Wrexham County Council fix the city Center as it used to be 25 years ago.
Wrexham council are a disgrace but they seem unanswerable to anyone. These guys have done more good for Wrexham and the people than they ever have sadly
Aren't the lads getting a new stadium?
How come the only Wrexham Radio station Calon FM is not involved in anything regarding the team?
Football shouldn’t be more expensive than this. For the people!
Awesome rob and ryan!
And people wondered why RYAN wasn’t at the Met 🤣🤣. This is much more important ‼️🫡🇨🇦
League 2 will be a challenge. If they spend a bit of money they can compete. A top 3 finish would be a miracle.
They’ll make this story into a movie now for sure
I doubt it 😂
Give me the deadpool and Rob Macklehenny 🎉🎉🎉
Ryan Reynolds is a very astute investor and this may well be his moment of genius. The long game is building Wrexham into a global brand that resonates with the American soccer-loving public, hence the ludicrous US tour they've got planned. Bear in mind, he paid nothing to acquire the club, so from here on in everything is a bonus. Nobody is really watching Wrexham, they're watching Rob and Ryan, and they know exactly how far they can push this boat out without making themselves look suspicious. The whole circus around this is fascinating.
See. We Americans are not all that bad...
Ryan is a Canadian (but also has US citizenship)…
Ryan Reynolds
Canadian-American actor
Bit dramatic lol
Just Biden, Pelosi, Hunter, Hillary and Don Lemon
Wanna bet ?
The fact the bbc gave at least 15 mins coverage to this parade was only because of rob and Ryan.
What about the other teams that got promoted? No coverage for them?
Exactly. No celebrity owner , no coverage.
This team is so good they don't need a retired dude to play with them.
omg!
The world just simply isn't ready for one specific clubs title parade!
It WILL happen sooner or later!
