The airbag demo is a really good realisation for when we are all working on modern cars and how dangerous they really can be. Well done Chris, great idea 👍👍
Chris it's great to see your a lot more comfortable talking to the camera now mate, I could listen to you all day with the knowledge you have. I would put you in the same category as the likes of Fred Dibna and Stephen Fry
Well done Chris….good call to show the airbag goin off. You need a little bit of fun now and again. Next time put a pair of Robs white trainers on top ( old ones of course ) and give them a ceremonial send off. Nice video showing the recycling process, and as with your mechanical fixes you demonstrate great attention to detail. Have a great weekend guys ….looking forward to next weeks content. Cheers
Fantastic! Since Chris has become more involved the channel has improved. I love how Chris explains what he's doing like grinding the crank manually. The tips snd tricks which Chris uses shows years and years of knowledge znd experience and guess learned from dad. Please can we have more explosions like maybe a 25 litre plastic drum or something please
PPE please lads, I notice Rob wearing only trendy trainers!, he should be wearing Steeltoes when doing this heavy lifting work in the Yard. Safety comes first. Great video though love this channel.
As allways guys a great video,re your batteries as a suggestion check the specific gravity of the acid and if low refresh allow the plates to soak for a day start with a low charge and increase over two days then re test I did that on a dry 2 years and it worked fine till I sold the van 1 year later LOVED THE AIRBAG stay safe & Keep em posted.
Your a very lucky man. Your doing what every man would love to be doing, you have the money, premises and knowledge. I’m a veteran suffering ptsd without a pot to piss in living every day as my last. I took the wrong direction in life. Love your videos
I was waiting for these comments 😅 And was getting anxious each time his tootsies went under the green container, broken toes stay black for a very long time!
My neighbour does similar job to these guys …..he doesn’t wear steal toe caps …..car went over his foot …plates and screws in his ankle ….off work for months
He's the only trader I have seen that goes to work dressed for the gym and not the motortrade.... he must spend hours cleaning them white trainers all the time...
Great video guys. The shot you got from above showing the yard made for great viewing. Well worth the hassle for the money and helps keep the yard tidy. On the the future and many more cars to fill it all up again!
Need to weld some fork channels on the bottom of that crate, make it easier for the FLT driver to take off and use the rotation on the truck to empty it out.
Great bit of mucking about with the airbag, just shows how much power there is in them, safety first with those things, just hope I never see one go off in a car, have a good weekend lads
Spiderman Rob nearly does the splits trying to adjust that chain 😂 One of those videos of cats stuck on top of doors as they slowly open came to mind 😂
Airbag explosion was an education. Didn't know you could do that with airbags. Shows the power in them. Good call by Chris for going ahead with it. 👍🏼 Onto the next one. 😁
Aww Rob live a little!! Never mind the safety sally's in the comments @18.30 The smile on Chris's face 😁 There's still that little bit of kid in us all 👍🏼
The airbag demonstration was illuminating for those who have not seen it before. A good trader day, profitably clearing the valuable scrap and cleaning the workspace, all profitable trade is good trade for a business.
Team work makes the dream work, the videos don’t edit themselves! As long as Rob and Chris are happy, it’s nobody else’s business! Just sit back and enjoy the content 👌
Great video as always, the air bag was very a very good example why a passenger should never put their feet on the dashboard when travelling. Keep the videos coming lads.
That was funny. When Chris said. I don't know I was hiding behind the edge. Poor Chris come on Rob let Chris hold the camera. EXCELLENT video again lads.
£210 per tonne is good for shearing! Being in that scrapyard bought back memories of working for EMR before I had my kids, I used to work in the weighbridge and non-ferrous shed weighing off things like batteries and radiators. I am with Chris with that airbag😂😂 sort of thing my brother would do given the chance! It certainly shot up well
Hi guys must ask does chris ever sleep lol good vid again i remember you doing same last year airbag was intresting never seen one go off that hiab on chris's truck handy little gizzmo for sure im 100% happy with all your vids i reccomend them to anyone your normal guys i retract that chris is not normal his super chris lol doing a tough job in a crap time covid that entertaine us all thank you stay safe ok see you monday good weekend guys...
Steptoe and son lol the airbag demo was superb I hope I never have to feel the force of one in my face argggg thanks for the video Rob & Chris take care
Started worrying there! Had to scroll to near the end to find out what the explosion was about. Hahaha very funny! I'll watch the video in full later :)
Airbag made me laugh. The tutor did the same thing in college to show us what happens when one goes off, it was off an old fiesta. Nice bit of pocket money there for the scrap 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hello Rob and Chris. Nice little video both of you. Airbag video was good , people can use it for a safety video. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
Nice one Rob, really good film. Shows us the process you take the business through and doing your bit for the environment. Air bag was both funny and scary at the rate it went off!! Great film.
Really good to see the recycling process...any chance you can show us how you deal with all the old fluids: oil, brake fluid, anti freeze etc. - the storage and disposal process?
Really injoyed this scrap run video, as I love collecting bits of copper pipe, of cuts from work... adds up copper price is high £5.50kg if clean, Chris don't miss anything was impressed when Chris said pop some blocks under the metel bin so forklift can take it off, always thinking ahead really admire Rob & Chris's initiative! well done again!!
Brilliant video lads! one of my favourites, just nice to see something different for a change and showing us what you both do in the back ground and other little jobs you do around the yard!! Well done lads!
Good fun guys just shows you what goes on behind the scenes of a scrap yard and also the money that can be recouped for stuff you cannot use and the value of decluttering. Nice one lads 👍👍👍🚘🚘🚘
On the speed awareness course the man said airbags go off at 180mph , this is why they recommend not wearing ID lanyards on your chest as the clip can go into your chest when airbag detonated. A lot of projects seemed so long ago like the Micra and the Fiat 500 rear quarters. Always a pleasure watching.
Chris should weld some box section on the base of the scrap box so the forks can go through it and flip the box when it needs empty save them doing what they are doing it which could cause more damage. Also saves you putting wood under it to give the forks the room to lift it
Big thumbs up for the airbag sequence if nothing else but to illustrate to the rest of us who might have considered tinkering about with them that they do indeed go off with a bit of a bang😂😂😂 Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
On reading the introduction boys I thought something bad had happened. Lol. Can’t beat messing about with your mates. 12 months since you last had a clear up. Bloodyhell. Remember the last one. Top blokes. Stay safe 👍😎
Hi Rob & Chris, thanks for another great video, it is interesting to see what you can weight in for scrap, I see so many car batteries at our local tip and now I know what they likely do with them! Lol. As for the airbag, loved it and have far to much respect for Chris to ever criticise him.
Sorry Rob, I'm with Chris, that airbag was bloody awesome 👌👌👌👌👌
Great video guys
Bloody things are dangerous...................................LOL
The airbag demo is a really good realisation for when we are all working on modern cars and how dangerous they really can be. Well done Chris, great idea 👍👍

Very Kind bud. Big fan of both those guys
Agree 💪🧠🤝
Chris ' i dunno i was hiding behind the hedge ' . That had me in stitches 🤣
And I was!
Well done Chris….good call to show the airbag goin off. You need a little bit of fun now and again. Next time put a pair of Robs white trainers on top ( old ones of course ) and give them a ceremonial send off.

I want to know job Rob keeps his trainers so clean. Unless of course he has a wardrobe full.
It's true - the airbag sequence was fascinating and educational - also great fun, please don't debate next time - just do it!!
"Your only supposed to blow the bloody doors off"!.......Great chanel guys!
Michael Caine's famous line, at least I can spell his surname ! 😎
Hahahaha 😅
You beat me to it!!! 😂
Was waiting for that reference 😂
*You're!
WOW 211k subscribers for the best salvage rebuilds team .. well done Chris & Rob
More airbag action welcome! thanks Chris 🧨👍👍👍

I’ve never seen two guys that work together so well, you really are a lesson in patience and understanding 👍🏻
Loved the airbag explosion. Science as well as rebuilding cars. 🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧👍
Great idea by Chris to demonstrate the energy inside an airbag. These videos get better and better.

I worried for your toes in this vid Rob. Steel toe caps wouldn’t go amiss.
I’m surprised their insurance doesn’t insist on proper protective gear.
I was waiting for these comments 😅
And was getting anxious each time his tootsies went under the green container, broken toes stay black for a very long time!
My neighbour does similar job to these guys …..he doesn’t wear steal toe caps …..car went over his foot …plates and screws in his ankle ….off work for months
Was thinking the same 👍
He's the only trader I have seen that goes to work dressed for the gym and not the motortrade.... he must spend hours cleaning them white trainers all the time...
Thank you both, really enjoyed, peace.
That’s surprising how much you got for the scrap. As for the airbag, you did it as safe as you could so don’t worry just enjoy having a bit of fun. 👍
Great video guys. The shot you got from above showing the yard made for great viewing. Well worth the hassle for the money and helps keep the yard tidy. On the the future and many more cars to fill it all up again!
Forgiveness is easier sought than permission!! Good man Chris for overruling Rob 😂😂 Have a great weekend guys !
Always Bud!
Great video guys, nice to see what power air bags have came down like a parachute. Thanks again
Need to weld some fork channels on the bottom of that crate, make it easier for the FLT driver to take off and use the rotation on the truck to empty it out.

Rob! Does Chris get a little bit more, as he's always in early and cracks on with things.🤔🤪😂👍
We both work hard and share what we make
Rough with the smooth mate that’s how a partnership works
@@sruk Yea!
Team work makes the dream work, the videos don’t edit themselves! As long as Rob and Chris are happy, it’s nobody else’s business! Just sit back and enjoy the content 👌
It was just a cheeky joke. 😜
Great video as always, the air bag was very a very good example why a passenger should never put their feet on the dashboard when travelling. Keep the videos coming lads.
Loved the air bag 👍🏻
That was funny. When Chris said. I don't know I was hiding behind the edge. Poor Chris come on Rob let Chris hold the camera. EXCELLENT video again lads.
Can't help but laugh Rob was trying to be sensible Mr Health and Safety but meanwhile left his tootsies in the firing line of the green skip 😅😂👍
Never seen an airbag go off before, that was amazing.
A nice payout for you both and got the yard cleared out. Great video guys.
£210 per tonne is good for shearing! Cheers Chris and Rob for salvage run. 👍👍🇬🇧
I would have done the exact thing that Chris has done
Top man Chris 👍👍
Another “ Day in the Life “ so interesting and the airbag was a lot of fun! Well done to you both can’t wait for more - Well Done Rob & Chris 👍💥💥🇬🇧

Nice one Chris 👌👍. Have a great weekend guys
Chris lives for danger. And it seems Rob lives for acrobatics and yoga moves.
😂 You could just imagine him doing his yoga moves each night in the den 😂😂
Hi Rob and Chris, different video, loved the airbag detonation.!! Nice little tickle for the scrap. Cheers, Alex.
Chris, that was awesome!
The airbag demo was a knockout - literally! Yet again top quality content.
Now feels like I'm driving around with a claymore in my steering wheel.
you might if you have a car with a pre-recall takata air bag 😂
Liked the explosion. I bet Chris didn't know those doors were heavy, good commentary!! Enjoy your weekend chaps...
Could spend a happy day setting off airbags... 😂 fair play Chris, my childish sense of fun too 👍
Airbag deployment was good. Thanks for making Rob film it and include in the video Chris.
Airbag made me laugh. The tutor did the same thing in college to show us what happens when one goes off, it was off an old fiesta. Nice bit of pocket money there for the scrap 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This video goes to prove that we will literally watch you pair do anything 👍 I enjoyed the airbag going off! Very informative!
Those Claire Rainers looked a bit dirty Rob....
The airbag was cool.... lots of people don't understand what happens if they go off.... love these videos
In this video, we see Rob practising his aerobics, almost doing the splits....
I enjoyed the forklift section. Man was on it.
I've been here since pretty much the beginning,
however...
Clickbaiting? Is it really nessecery?
Just a little light humour Bud
Brilliant video chaps, loved seeing the recycling process and full marks to Chris for the air bag demo.
Is Chris allowed to hold the camera so that Rob can lift stuff off the truck or does Rob only do management?
It's all good and I would feel really bad if he got his lovely trainers dirty!
@@sruk 😂😂😂😂
Hello Rob and Chris.
Nice little video both of you. Airbag video was good , people can use it for a safety video.
Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
How do you keep your daps so fresh and white?
He buys a new pair every day 😉
Veneers 😬
Nice one Rob, really good film. Shows us the process you take the business through and doing your bit for the environment. Air bag was both funny and scary at the rate it went off!! Great film.
Chris is the new Rob 👍😂
I was! For once lol
But only for tonight!
Great to see the responsible ♻️ component.
Bit clickbait with that title 😂 good vid though keep it up :)
Really good to see the recycling process...any chance you can show us how you deal with all the old fluids: oil, brake fluid, anti freeze etc. - the storage and disposal process?
I think you should let a airbag off every month brilliant guys
Another great one to watch, I do enjoy the scrap runs, the airbag deployment was scary, it was like a bomb 💣!!.
Nice title clickbait award goes to....
Airbag demo was brilliant, thanks Lads.
Watch out Rob if Chris keeps doing the channel you'll be out of a job lol.
So is that battery tester pretty much useless then? 😂
Seen them used before seem ok,
pretty good bit of kit
Those airbags certainly pack a punch. Enjoyed watching that. 👍
Thanks for a great video it's interesting to see the power of an airbag being deployed. Fun and educational at the same time
Glad to see your safety footwear when loading the scrap Robert!
Thanks Chris, I enjoyed the air bag 👍
Another great video guys!
Holy moly! The airbag was something else! And we sit in front of those. Jeez.
Well done Chris it was great to see the airbag go off.. never realised how much force they had. Another great one guys well done.
