Awesome recipe Nicholas another great addition to the cookbook would be Carrot cake , you would nail this because, unlike 2 years ago you are now the best anabolic baker on youtube. And, I think you can easily make the best one. Shockingly not many people are using brown swerve in their recipes, I think non anabolicly speaking I think claire saffitz x baker, bon apetit's chris morocco, joshua wiessman, and not to mention one your favourite's brian lagerstrom's and his carrot cake. Only you find the perfect balance of calories protein, flavour and texture, and you always nail it on the condiments and mix ins. A cream cheese frosting in it would be great especially since you already have a recipe for that frosting on the dime.

These comments are nuts. Stoked to try these out. Hitting the cookies and cream first then the oatmeal cookie on a future order. I avoided the original bars, since I’m not huge on peanut butter. Figured they were like anabar, which I’m not a fan of (too sweet for me). Hope I like! 😅

Just tried the cookies and cream flavor and I must say, it’s the best protein bar I’ve ever tasted! I don’t say that lightly. I love that there’s no artificial aftertaste like most of the others, and the texture and flavor is so on point. Oatmeal chocolate chip is on the way!
Just got my boxes. Can confirm it tastes more like a candy bar as opposed to a peanut butter bar with some flavoring.
They look delicious, but still wish there was a lower calorie option for the calorie to protein ratio

My bars just came in the cookie dough is definetly a 8-9/10 the cookie dough tastes like cookie dough but it has a weird protein aftertaste that gets easy to ignore when you get that cookie dough in there its the best cookie dough you will ever get for now. The cookies and creme on the other hand is a 9.8/10 it tastes phenomenal but it doesnt taste like an oreo for me but rather a cereal breakfast bar and it definetly tops the Anabar one for me

Only 20g proteins for 270 calories is very sub-par…. QUEST bars is where it’s at. 20g proteins for 180 calories. And they have the flavor and texture figured out, and probably cheaper than Gorillas.

They don’t taste like gorillas
Just a warning for those ordering these new bars. They’re trying to offload the old bars and keep sending them even when you specifically order the new ones. They sent me the correct ones for free but it’s happened twice in the last month so far. Extremely annoying!
For me the Mac’s of the bars are just not that good. Like it almost has more sugar then protein at that point you may as well eat a kitkat bar and a scoop of whey protein and you would be better off. Not hating just saying what I think so if people can accept that then by all means buy them and eat them cause I am sure they really do taste amazing.

As someone with a peanut allergy I keep wishing they’ll release an almond or cashew butter base one
3 of these flavors are a cashew butter base. but, they are obviously produced in a facility which handles peanuts, so still wouldn’t be recommended for one with a specific nut allergy.

270cal for 20g? That's like 200cal not from protein. This is the reason I personally think protein bars are junk. Here's an idea, let's make protein bars taste great like candy bars so people start eating them like candy bars and gain weight.

For somthing to be considered a protein snack I would expect it to have more protein than any other macro nutrient. But there are more carbs and this is A LOT of sugar especially in the cookie dough. The ingreidients list makes these even worse. Just buy legendary foods pastrys.

Well you didnt, you bought some and taste tested, no recipe, nothing.

Anabar is soooo good, hope you guys can top them.
All that work and the bars are still noticeably lower quality than anabars, unfortunate.

end consumer doesn’t care if there’s a patch of chocolate missing on the bottom. and frankly, these look exactly the same as many other brands, such as anabar, outright bar, etc etc. I tried 1 singular anabar, took one bite, threw it away. Was hard and nasty. Outright bars are good, but peanut butter in every flavor, as said. With that being said, im pretty positive RJF private labeled from the same manufacturer, and I wouldn’t be surprised if MPMD did the same. The bar shape, size, calories, packaging, they all look similarly identifiable. so, saying they’re “still noticeably lower quality” hmmm.. right
