Where did you get the impression that flying cars consume LESS fuel when airborne? Why do Aircraft pilots need to study thousands of hours to control a plane, while you think that if we drop a quater in a slot, we can fly non-stop from NY to Honolulu SAFELY in your Flying Car while napping?

Every serious Helicopter built in the last 80 years has had mostly ONE main rotor (the Chinook and Osprey have two...) Why does anybody think that having sixteen rotors with 8 engines/motors is more economical, reliable or easy to fly, and easily sustain?

There is a big difference between a fossil fuel engine and a brushless electric motor.
