Today's video is all about taking care of the deferred maintenance on my 2.5 RS. Pretty much every fluid you can change is covered in this video along with an epic straight piping that includes revs and fly bys.

Brother I have a 2000 Impreza sedan 2.5rs, automatic though. Been sitting for almost a year after owning it for almost 10. Honestly lost where to even start so this was so helpful

This might be from 2 years ago, but I'm digging the style! Subbed! I owned a 00' coupe in Blue Ridge pearl, 5sped, bought it new at a Subaru dealership in Brookfield WI. I hated the gear box. Hated the soft bushings on the rear axles, shifter and engine. It would clunk the rear every time you shifted hard at full throttle.
This is one of the easiest subarus to swap, I wire has a whole harness ready to plug and play. However I feel the same I sold my forester in hopes to buy an actual turbo model in the future, the turbo motors are less prone to head gasket issues as well they actually use a steel head gasket.

Nice car! I had an '01 coupe and did a cold air industion and Bosal exhaust on it. Made it sound great and got a bit more power! Wish I still had it. They are super rare to find in good shape and I had mine from new!
I’ve had the exhaust off after the cat and my lord are the backfires aggressive! Sounds absolutely insane great video!

You mentioned power a bunch, but would you focus on the suspension and handling for this car? Turn it into a toss able backroad carver?
I already got two of those with the Z and Eclipse. If I didn’t absolutely I would I love your thinking. I just don’t want all my cars to be the same thing or have identical philosophies of use.

Wondering what made you want to sell the car?
If you're going to run the exhaust after the cat I'd extend it a little or else you will too much air back in the cat and the 02 sensor will think it's running lean. It will compensate by dumping more fuel into the engine and run rich

How much better did the car feel after the tune up? Did you notice a difference?
Didnt notice much of a difference. Super smooth idle now and sweet tone while driving which makes it a lot of fun!

it falls in this area of two unique and to fixable to destroy but to much work to do what I would want to do to it. Stay tuned! Im working on selling it and picking up something else.
