Well I had some extra time on my hands so here is another Railfan Stereotypes video. This time we take a look at a few states in the northwestern region of the US. From Wyoming to Washington state we have a bit of variety in the railfan life of each state compared to the southwest right below it. Whats a stereotypical railfan like in the northwestern states? I literally died at 1:33 thanks to Mario bursting my ears when he goes insane for the Big Boy 4014. What a way to react to such a locomotive being restored!
She’s almost finished she’s due to be operational in May of next year, next year being 2019

Here in Idaho we actually do have a lot of trains... Of course we have UP and BNSF, but there's also the MRL, Eastern Idaho RR, Boise Valley RR, and (I think) the Camas Prairie Railroad. For a total of 6 railroads.
From my experience railfanning (I'm from Oregon) you nailed Oregon spot on, almost. We on occasion see foreign power, quite a bit of it.
Trains N' Stuff but what about the sd90s and triclopeses and standerd cabs that have been showing up

Ahem, do you even Orgeon Rail Heritage Center? That place has 4449, SP&S 700, a UP 4-6-2 which escapes my mind, and other unique diesels.

It rains a lot here but during the summer we actually get some really good weather that’s I film most of the time during the summer maybe spring if it’s not too wet

Not only is 4449 kept in Oregon, Southern Pacific only had trackage rights to Washington state, they never owned any of that track.
