The tuning Inabakumori uses for their songs is so distinct, and is such an integral part of their music, that it must make covering them super difficult. I was absolutely blown away with how well this cover was done despite all that! Mad props to the team for being able to put together such a masterful cover, and happy birthday girl_dm_!
I’d heard Lagtrain plenty of times before, but then this cover drops right as I’m in the middle of a depressive episode. Made me want to look up the lyrics and what the song’s all about. Really ended up connecting with it. In a disconnected way, Girl DM actually helped me out with this cover. So anyway, that’s why this was my most played song of 2023 *by a wide margin* and part of the reason I decided to order the new knife. Thanks for helping me sort myself out. Happy streaming.

Wow, it's really good, voice is really pleasant and fits the song incredible well, character based animation is also incredible (the milk jar on 3:53 made me chuckle, it was really cute), also voice mixing in multi voice parts is so good, it makes it somehow even better, as someone who doesn't know you i enjoyed it just for "cute cat girl doing Lagtrain incredible well", ty for your hard work, and happy past birthday
