I don't even like translyric covers. Usually. Will is 100% an exception. As someone who enjoys translating songs and is decent at Japanese, it astounds me how his lyrics both sound good and convey the original meaning of the music. Top notch.

Keeping this information to themselves is likely killing them on the inside, but, as the speaker notes, if NOT speaking out means that the friend will stay with them no matter what and provide some form of company (even if it's a diminished one), it is much better than being shunned for expressing themselves and losing themselves and becoming isolated from every connection they know. One thing I feel Will does that others maybe don’t is he makes sure that it rhymes and sounds well. I haven’t heard too many covers, but in some of those I’ve heard the lyrics don’t quite rhyme in order to be a more faithful translation. Will’s covers always rhyme, always sound good, and from what people say, they also manage to be a very good translation.
I can't speak for the others as this is the first I've found, but yes... It's one of the few tunes that's actually within my register throughout. I guess we have somewhat similar voices, at least on the range front (i can't match the tone and purity here), which seems to be a rare thing in a lot of music. It's either too high, sometimes too low, and most often just covers too far a range. Even though this seems to go a long way up and down it somehow fits the limits. And the speed and rhythm are easy to flow with... So long as you take a deep breath. (which is not so much the case for the only other one i played so far, the "body is truthful" cover... Yikes. That can't possibly have been done in a single take)

i really like the lyrics you made for this one, they convey the feelings of the song pretty well. And while i think the guitar solo takes away from the sort of innocent feel that the original had, your voice covers it up by giving it a more mature sound to it. it's not a flaw at all, but simply a different take on the song. Not really, it's not as if everything is out of our control. Bad things or good things unprecedented can happen, but it's always up to us to take it, and up to us for what we take as success or failure. There's no fate, and not everything is set in stone.. give yourself some credit, or go get that credit honestly if you aren't trying to change the things you don't like about life right now.
Even if I’m able to learn and completely master another language, I will still be amazed by people that can translate songs into other languages. Not only do you have to understand both languages, but you also have to be able sing the song itself and find words that convey the original meaning while still following the original tune and flow of the song in the source language

One thing I feel Will does that others maybe don’t is he makes sure that it rhymes and sounds well. I haven’t heard too many covers, but in some of those I’ve heard the lyrics don’t quite rhyme in order to be a more faithful translation. I can't speak for the others as this is the first I've found, but yes... It's one of the few tunes that's actually within my register throughout. I guess we have somewhat similar voices, at least on the range front (i can't match the tone and purity here), which seems to be a rare thing in a lot of music. It's either too high, sometimes too low, and most often just covers too far a range. Even though this seems to go a long way up and down it somehow fits the limits. And the speed and rhythm are easy to flow with... So long as you take a deep breath.
(which is not so much the case for the only other one i played so far, the "body is truthful" cover... Yikes. That can't possibly have been done in a single take)

Even if I’m able to learn and completely master another language, I will still be amazed by people that can translate songs into other languages. Not only do you have to understand both languages, but you also have to be able sing the song itself and find words that convey the original meaning while still following the original tune and flow of the song in the source language
