- In this video show show how to use Quad Remesher in #Blender 3 to turn a #hardsurface NGon Mesh into a Quad Mesh.
The Quad Remesher can be found here:
exoside.com/quadremesher/
I also use my #JMesh tools addon to create a hardsurface mesh with Booleans:
blendermarket.com/products/jm...
After turning the mesh into a quad based geometry you can use modifiers like Subdivision surface or Simple deform and also deform the mesh in sculpt mode.

I bought this addon almost a year ago. It is absolutely fantastic. Especially useful turning high poly meshes to low poly and vice versa. So easy it almost feels like cheating at times :)
I hear it was done by the guy who made Zremesher for Zbrush.
:-) Yes, i know what you mean.
Quad Remesher is literal magic!
Quad Remesher are 10/10
Thank you bro its Amazing. Very help full 😍😍🥰🥰. Great Job
Thank you!
This flow looks like it would be fantastic for making things like bodyarmour - molded to an existing figure.
Absolutely. My workflow often: Extract mask from figure, voxel remesh to sculpt more details, then quad remesher.
Great Video!
Thx m8
@@JayAnAm alwyas liked your channel really clear to the point videos of concepts people can add to their skill set. Useful information. Thanks.
Have you used Hard Ops? I got this plugin to work with Hard Ops however it tends to create bad loops. Had any experience with this? Thanks.
Good👍👍👍👍👍👍💯
Hi I’m trying to get the plug-in but their website is not working or something is wrong with it !
Man this looks strong... But so pricey
🔥💕👍
There is also a Quad-plugin by Kushiro (author of well known "gridmodeler" Blender plugin )
Yes, but it is not for high resolution models.
Very nice. I attempted to use the quad remesher on text to see if it would allow me to create beveled text, but I was unsuccessful and the bevel is still clamped with very little beveling. Does anyone know of a way to nicely and quickly bevel 3D text in Blender?
Hi, just gave it a try and it worked pretty nice. Had to adjust the geometry of the small letter "t" a bit, but was a quite simple fix.
There's actually a bevel option in the text properties box I think
@@MyChickenSlappedMe It does, and I played with that a bit. Unfortunately, it bevels the letters by making them larger, so then they start to encroach on the boundaries of neighboring letters. You can adjust kerning spacing between letters in the Paragraph panel, however, that is also not good, because it isn't uniform in the sense that the distance will then be unnecessarily increased between a capital letter and a neighboring lowercase letter. Ideally, this bevel option would simply bevel the edges in place like a normal bevel operation, instead of increasing the size of the letters. Maybe there is a way to change that behavior and I just don't know how.
Thanks for bringing it up regardless.
@@honkbeforeitstoolate587 Yeah that's true I noticed it last time that I used it for 3D printing purposes I kind of just went with it. Hopefully you find something more tailored to your needs 😊
I must say, that even though Quad remesher is good. Im having a real hard time getting good results on hard surface modelling. Even for really simple objects. From your video I cant see that Im doing anything different from you. Is it just me?
I reinstalled the windows then i reinstall the quadremesher now it's showing me error remeshing faild please tell me any solution
I had the same problem
