Lexus has just debuted an all new #electricvehicle the #LFZL - Will this edgy behemoth replace the respected Lexus LS #sedan in the not-so-distant Future?
LF-ZL, a Flagship BEV Concept with a Vision of the Electrified Future
The LF-ZL represents a future Lexus flagship luxury model, aiming to offer a prestigious ownership experience beyond just the car, driven in next-generation BEV architecture and software advancements from the new Arene OS. Taking advantage of the freedom in BEV-specific packaging and optimizing interior space, LF-ZL has a spacious and serene cabin where traditional Omotenashi features are elevated through technology, for an unprecedented mobility experience.

When drivers point to objects or places of interest during their journey, the car's display promptly delivers information along with voice guidance, enabling the car to enhance the connection between occupants and their surroundings.
Furthermore, the utilization of big data allows management of the charging process and power supply, enabling the vehicle to seamlessly connect to the network and become an integral part of the societal infrastructure while parked. This approach ensures the seamless integration of mobility solutions with the customer's lifestyle.

May God continue to bless you Kirk. You’ve come a long way. The collab with David and video coverage is great. Thank you.
Thank you so much! David was so good to me in Japan. Sooo grateful for his expertise and kindness
May both be blessed with more News from Japan Mobility...
About the White Light bar in the middle of Front Bumper at 1:30 = perhaps that is used for [Although the Compass has been emphasised, the Vizor has taken a back seat. According to Adams, the Vizor was originally conceived in part to neatly conceal all the sensors and cameras required for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). ]
Like "Subaru Eye-Sight" = would both monitor the Lanes and Stop the Car when signal sending from that White Bar received close to "Brake" the car/vehicle?
[ The strong central crease that runs through each car’s bonnet has been highlighted with a strip of LEDs, divided into ‘north’ and ‘south’ sides by the Vizor grille. Meanwhile, the arrow-shaped daytime-running lights on today’s Vauxhalls have been replaced by flat bars that are bright enough to provide sufficient low-beam illumination on their own. Small banks of LEDs are nestled in the corner below each bar, providing high-beam functionality when needed. ]
Hello Mr. David Chao, we/I missed Vancouver, and will soon visit BC this coming Summer 2024.. 😍 😍
@@KirkKreifels I love the way this channel is flourishing! Do you think that they would have a sedan replacement to the LS?
They work good together
Liked this format much vido presentation much better. Where both you and David were able share your time so that each person could explain their observation without being interupted by the other. Very nice to watch and listen too. Good Job.
I really like the two screens that come off the steering wheel. Its like where you would put your phone and should really be integrated into their future line ups
Love the co reporting from both of you both have the channels I watch the most!
I always thought the Chineese and the Koreans were ahead of Lexus as far as design but this.... WOW what a huge leap forward this is. Blew me away. Even the top coat paint looks more shiney and the origami shapes are so perfect. I would be so prowd driving one of these......Big applause to Lexus designers....👌👌👌
That's an interesting take. I always thought the Chinese and Korean designs were knock-offs of others - particularly German designs.
@@FinalVibesbut actually duo koreana and chinesse manufacture brought up manu designers from europe thats why their new design languange very europian-ish
The front end reminds me of a whale shark vacuuming up krill. 😏
Hahaha yeah 😁but, I would still buy that......@@davidpavlich8939
@@davidpavlich8939 or the car form the movie "speedracer"
I bet you’re having a blast Kirk!
Love it when you team up together!
Keep up the good work bro!!
stunning!!!
Thanks for showing the future luxury Lexus.
Those screens gotta make to the RX& NX
Keep the back and little bit if the side but the big tail lights gotta go the light on top of the trunk is nice detail to the sculpture
Love the sliding door idea
Will you have a video of Toyota IMV-0 in the back ground? That would be an excellent Stout compact truck for the USA.
beautiful
Kirk. Let's not write off the LS just yet. 🤨😉
If this replaces the LS , i would weep. Lexus should still continue with Large flagship sedan format for the LS they must just copy the Lucid end of story.
solid state battery? when will I see these on the lot? If too long, I would go with Testa.
More videos!!!!
Unique and futuristic 😅😮
Looks like some sort of vehicle from TRON or I-robot...I can see potential design language for future production but as a whole its a bit outlandish
Exterior reminds me of the Avatr 11.
Looks like a snowplow ; a future model!
It looks a bit like a Lexus RZ and a Tesla Cybertruck had a one night stand. And this thing is the result.
nice
No to the front. They really need a new direction on this and the van concept.
Interesting car, although the front of it makes it seem like a sporty Zamboni. Presumably, they'll fix that for production (if it makes to production)
Why don’t they go straight to production on some of these concepts. The body designs at least. Not the future tech that doesn’t exist yet🤓
A car that looked exactly like that packed with real tech would surely sell.
Kirk the Japanese car king ❤
Looks better then that new gtr lol
GTR wasn't worth my time. Only one vehicle from Nissan was worth my time and I'll let you wait for it
how I wish they put those sliding doors on a sedan. it'll save so much space. and easier to get in and out.
where is the LF-SA?
This thing to replace LS?! ROFL!
Idk the front is bit hard to look at…maybe the back too
Are the sliding doors reliable?
you see it in minivan, does it they are reliable ?
This should have been the cyber truck concept. Tesla should have hired the designer for this car.
Is the replacement for the LS hands down.
I always used to love Lexus design, but this looks like something from a dystopian "Dune" world, No thanks.
Oh you nailed it. That's exactly what it looks like!
It’s beautiful but it also looks like an Acura ZDX
the say things are going, thisll be $150k when it comes out
well its a lexus its a luxury vehicle its not for your average joe
Looks like it belongs in the ocean scooping up plankton.
Surprised Supercar Blondie had more information, e.g. bamboo panels, carpet woven with bamboo, etc. Will there be an in-depth review soon?
Pretty sure Lexus hired her and told her what to say. On the LF-ZC I talked about the bamboo.
@@KirkKreifels Thanks! Really enjoy your videos! Please keep making them! ☺
Simplify and tweak a bit more and I’m in.
This looks way too futuristic..m
Its a concept car. Its supposed to
@@ciello___8307 Trust me, in 20 years they will actually look like this.
Hopefully it has adult range
can't stand the bright lights thin seat or airo dynamic. just need an 80's look. Or 50's like they have in Cuba, them cars are old but fantastic. not into the futuristic ones at all and i don't think they would sell.
Not a fan of the design of many of these cars. The LC is the most beautiful car they made and it was smooth lines. These sharp edges don’t do it for me
I'm sorry but I would have looked at that and just turned around
The front end is ridiculous. How can that be arrow dynamic.
I thinks the front end very much like the design from speedracer movie cartoons
I love Lexus but the front looks like a snow plow. 😂
Would you agree that tech = luxury?
Inside looks okay, but I don't like this yoke trend, it's gotta go. Front and back ends gotta go too. A lot of these new designs are way too busy, which just makes that new Mazda look even better IMO.
But toyota grub is one of the shareholder in mazda stake
Yoke is a smaller area for the variable rate steer by wire that Toyota is probably looking to put in all Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
Yes, yoke is stupid on anything other than a race car.
@@paulbrown2422 but toyota also give normal steering wheel also
Lexus took a page out of Lucid’s rear reclining seats and front and rear separate color schemes. Hopefully they partner with them on the whole propulsion system. 10:26
Low profile tires means a bumpy ride. The tires are part of the suspension. EVs are not the future. Many car companies and moving away from them.
Imagine wrecking into that car 😂😂😂😂
It will unfold into a crane.
Geesh i hope not ....😢
Stupid 🔥🔥🔥
I dont get people who love tesla, look at the lexus, mercedes, bmw and Cadillac concepts. They are perfect and tesla 🤢
Loose the old balding drunk guy jeeezes .😆 Sounds
Ike a Chat GPT bot .
I hope this isn't the future. That thing is huge for no reason. Huge wheels, huge design cues. Please no.
They made it an EV? Lexus and Toyota needs to start making long range Hybrids, cars and SUVs with 1000 mile + cursing ranges and make life difficult for anyone selling EVs.
They have to do both. More and more EVs will be on the road late decade and hybrids as well. Toyota is working on the hybrids. Lexus is going full BEV.
That LF-ZF vehicle from the sides look good but ugly front end and rear of vehicle. Too many cameras in my opinion, how are you going to see anything if these cameras get covered in snow or ice or sand/salt used on the icy roads in the northern areas where they get snow. No side mirror’s or rear view mirrors or back window, relying totally on cameras……. Hmmmm not sure if that is a great idea, it would be extremely dangerous driving on the road if and when any of these cameras malfunction or get dirty with road debris and not being able to clearly see,for a lane change or anyone behind you.
Exterior looks like a Tesla Y but designed with care with chisels and it looks like it has a lot of Polestar like detailing in it as well, even missing a back window. But it also has lots of Lexus (spindle shape) and Japanese origami design as well. I think Toyota/Lexus are great at design but have been too conservative and they should unleash their great designs and show they're as good as the Koreans, the better Chinese cars, better German cars, and Volvo/Polestar.
The interior is quite concept but we're beginning to see how Toyota wants to use screens and it is different than others. Also, their sense of ambient lights is next level as well. I'm not crazy about the two big screens on the passenger side and I think the whole touch screen craze has gotten old. They've lost their novelty.
This has potential but a production version would be toned down a lot from this concept. And I would like an LS replacement. I'm a sedan guy.
Guys stop wasting time and find the new camry!!
Kirk, these videos are awesome, but I have to be honest who cares about all these concepts that will never be see the light of day. Useless expenditure of money is all they are, just fluff.
Let’s focus on what’s real, and what’s coming not what they might be inspired to do, which will never happen. Mind you!
It's not true that the concepts won't see the light of day. There are two types of concepts. Some are close to production models and others are previewing tech and design that will be seen in upcoming models. So, in some ways, either you'll see something close to the concept or parts of the concept in upcoming cars.
This has a far better chance at production than Nissan's concepts...that's why I didn't cover Nissan concepts or Subaru coupe. Just so far fetched. LfzL is ugly imo, but I could see some of these ideas being salvageable
Lexus has been making wacky designs on their vehicles the last few years, and now I see it's getting worse. This looks stupid.
that thing is Hideous
This is just ugly. How are these the same people who made the LC500?!
It's like they asked AI "How would a Lexus look if they used MS Paint to draw it while on drugs"
@@Elementaliti it's not only them. Have you seen the GTR concept? It's an abomination! Cars should look feminine. Sharp lines everywhere is just ugly. It's like they're trying to bring trans gender bs into cars.
EVs aren't taking off and won't anyway.
When hubris is the philosophy of the heads of a car company, disgusting looking car is what you get. Lexus knows their grill designs are eyesores, but pride prevents them from facing reality.
That is one stupid looking rig!!!!
Lol that’s a monstrosity. Keep that junk.
I know it's just a concept but holy crap that's ugly. Their designers need to retire.
Lexus needs to ditch the crazy front end "grill" look. It's time to move past the ugly front end!
I'm Asian, and I know what *_'Saving Face'_* means, and Lexus' grill is *_'Saving Face'_* on steroid.
Ugly concept I'm a big no on a purchase.
Hi David & Kirk!
I also believe that this is the future… Elegant precise, and the utmost quality control. I would love to see the Takumi craftsman interviewed in a video while you’re there if possible. 🇯🇵🤍❤️⭐️🌎 in my opinion they are the best in the world
