Not all schools in Australia have to have 'school assigned' bags. It's only private school that do that. At public schools, you can take whatever bag you want.
I go to a public school and the school has their own bags that aren't compulsory (barely anybody uses the school bags) and the private schools in the area don't have school bags so..

at my old school in north queensland we had the shittiest, heaviest horrible excuses for school laptops. it's a w7 acer iconia tablet. the weight comes from the case. the loaner laptops (if you couldnt afford a school one) were much better even though they're windows 7

+misscharlottebeauty1 we had that at our school, and since all the laptops are hooked up, one person put a virus on there computer then we all got one, so i decided to buy my own. (Im from South Aus)
At my school we have a formal uniform and a sports uniform and my school probably cares about our uniform more than education (thats a joke they care about education as much as uniforms 😂) If you were the sports uniform on a formal day you will get a detention. (Unless you have a uniform pass) Ive already needed 3 uniform passes!

australia schedule is so much different than americas, we have a new school year at the end of summer!!
