Out of spec aprons possible solutions.
1. Sell them as is for a slight discount and a big bold red note saying something along the lines of "some trimming required" You don't want to sell them at cost as you'd still lose money when the good aprons come in as less of your market would be inclined to buy if they just bought one.
2. trim them and make them into branded dish towels. depending on the material it might be worth it. Totally new product though you will have to deal with all the scrap material it will generate.
The issue with selling something like this at a discount is your introducing lower cost competition to your eventual final product .
There is a limited number of potential customers for the shaq backed apron, and if you make 10,000 lower priced ones available, your potentially just making your potential customer base smaller, as people are unlikely to buy two
Also your potentially adjusting what price customers think the aprons are worth if there is a lower priced alternative
Out of all the UA-camr life update videos I've watched, this is the first one where I've been like, "Wow, this individual has genuinely leveled up. This man has fully evolved into the next iteration of himself."

your channel has been and will continue to be a masterclass in short form, effective, accessible educational content. and i appreciate that you can continue to do that without feeling obligated to make *yourself* more accessible than you choose to be. really excellent work all around. shame about the aprons, but i'm sure folks would buy some reject aprons at a mild to moderate discount, and maybe even enjoy being "in on the joke" with them. the pottery is really lovely and i am putting it high on my list for family christmas gifts.

I will say it until the world wants to hear it no longer. This is the greatest of all food UA-cam channels. Exquisite blend of timing, perfect script, tasteful puns, true value without regurgitation and unique topics. Getting 2 videos a week might seem tempting in the short run, but it would take away the joy when the bell icon announces a new rare highlight of the day.

The biggest difference I've noticed is the smooth infotainment content has less jokes but I'm cool with that. 😩😩
My sincerest congratulations on getting away from the everyman's grind. You said you liked it but I've always believed that it's important to consider new avenues as and when they present themselves. Big fan of how you eased both yourself and the viewers into it.
Also thanks for helping me be a bit more confident about how far on my face my hair is. "Advancing hairline" is pretty much impossible to search for for obvious reasons but it doesn't seem malignant. Just odd.

Love your content, and I bought two plates, a tall cup and a small cup, and I *love* the design and hand-made feel of the pieces, but small constructive criticism: The unglazed underside of the pieces is pretty uncomfortable to touch; the texture is like nails on a chalkboard. Luckily my wife is very craft herself and applied a few coats of some dishwasher-safe oven-cured glaze, which cleared the problem right up and now they're the go-to Fancy Date Night Look At Me I Did A Streak Of Blackberry Compote Under The Chicken And Garnished With Micro Greens plates. Just figured I'd give you the heads up! Thanks for everything, good luck with Barkley!

Also, depending on where you are in your journey, I thought I'd throw out this tidbit as someone who's been DJing for about 7 years now: the best channel I ever found that made everything click for me (since I had to learn how to mix entirely solo/via YT) was DJ TLM TV. Dude's legit, and has the best breakdowns on every skill and philosophy about mixing for fun by yourself or live in front of a crowd
