Psycho social intervention programme for ID service users, Co. Wexford

The Intellectual Disabilities team of HSE/South East Community Healthcare’s mental health services have been running a psycho social sports/leisure exercise programme in Co. Wexford over the last year.
Part funded through Mental Health Ireland’s Kevin Plunkett Bursary Award, it caters for service users from the HSE’s Havenview (Enniscorthy), Croí an Tobar (Oylegate) and Westlands (Wexford Town) residences.
This month’s gathering in Oylegate Community Centre featured the introduction of a new sensory element to the programme.
