Real people, real talent and real emotion. Now destroyed by greed and fantasy .Electronc fantasy worlds and sounds that are not music.

Was that when they played at the Amphitheater? There was a beautiful moon rising behind the audience. Graeme came down off the drums to do his intro to Higher & Higher if I remember right and commented about the moon! It was indeed a wonderful night!!
A gentle love song with a Medieval Minstrel sound to it--I love it--hadn't heard it played on Sirius/played it for myself in a very long time. Also had forgotten Ray Thomas did such a masterful job singing it. Love the Moody Blues-timeless.
Joseph... I know what you mean, my wife passed away in 2020, not from Covid. I miss her terribly. I have listened to . the Moody''s for many years and yes this song brings tears to my eyes. I only hope my (our) children have the same memories that I do.

The first time I heard The Moody Blues was the song "Nights in White Satin". That song turned my musical senses on to their music and they've continued enjoying listening to their music.
An old girlfriend from my college days turned me on to the Moody Blues. Nights in White Satin caught my attention but to be a true fan it requires an investment in a couple of their albums. I did but at a much later stage in my life. Those deep cuts are just as good as those that were released as singles. Maybe even better. They lasted a long time as a group. But as I get closer to 70, 3 years away other groups that I listened too will be retiring and their music will remain in various music collections.
awww, I love how you used Far Harbor DLC's scenery and a remodeled Nora and Danse. I know every area that you showed in this by heart, from the ruined harbor and the cliffs near it to the Oceanarium. Danse is one of the more romantic companions in a game with three or four really good male companions to romance in it.
What a beautiful song...but what I remember was the view of our home window from where I worked. I did nights in the pediatric ICU to make ends meet. What I saw through the window told me I was an idiot. Where was she? Where is my money going to? Who was she with? Then it all fell down. I got my vinyls. I know what depression is. I know how to take it on other people. Never trust...never trust...never!
This is just my opinion, but many of Ray Thomas' songs were just too 'sappy'. His songs on DOFP and ISOTLC were EXCELLENT! "FLOATING" from TOCCC was my favorite... Then I heard FOR MY LADY, and it has the feel of being a sailor. The only song that is a better "seafaring" song is PIRATES by EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER!
