I really love this game a lot. I am currently about to fight the last boss - but I left the area to finish all the side stuff I missed just because I really want to stretch out the whole expirence. My only real beef with the game is that the Class statues dont seem to really add all that much, and I wish there were save options before cut scenes... But really that is just me being a picky weirdo. Probably one of the best turn based RPGs I have played ever.
That is true. One of the best implementations of unlockable classes was octopath traveler. Those classes added so much spice and flexibility to characters. Ngl I hated that one class emblem you get near the toads.
Oh wow! What a time to be alive! I love those love letter tributes to the games of the past. They're mostly passion projects & labors of love! I'm not very versed with the genre but I did enjoy the heck out of "Brave Story" on PSP 😊. Very well-made video, Paw! Very thorough & entertaining! GG! 😃👍❤
Yo! Thanks so much Cake. Brave story is hella amazing. Most of the old school RPGs still hold up good till this day. You should try playing of the ones mentioned in the video like Suikoden 2. Banger classic. Totally appreciate you giving feedback Cake. Happy New Year in advance!
@AndroidPAW yea just started playing it on Steam this morning. Apparently it's free on Xbox game pass also. FFVI and Chrono Trigger are two of my all time favs so I am really enjoying it so far.

This looks superb. I hate that I get in my own way with games like this because everything looks unreal but then I see mechs and my enthusiasm dies. I have no idea why it always happens.

Xenogears was the reason i got this game… and so far i’m happy with the game
Xenogears is definitely a huge vibe from this. Not gonna lie. I wish they had more variation for the sky armors
