If difficulty is an issue, they recently opened up the HARD MODE for dungeons and bosses. Pro mode is coming soon too. Steam's mostly positive rating would also like to disagree with you but hey to each their own. Maybe it's not the game for you, you know. 👌

@@androidpaw nah it's not just difficulties on its own it's more the complexities and the sophistication it feel cheap especially the boss that are so easy and predictable that's its not fun and i have objective review of this game because i plaid a lot and i can see their is no real effort this game is a patchwork of different game and doesnt do a good alchemy. Plus for the review 16000 negative review 41000 positive but completly brainless review like "I love the game " "the game is so fun" cmon

@@grimjows35 I understand your point. In my opinion, the game lacks optimization, some enemy designs feel uninspired like the basic zombie and basically the gameplay loop can be quite repetitive. I get that. It's basically an MMO at this point though just mixed in with a base building mechanic. I totally appreciate your input too. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint on the game. I am guilty for that game is fun review lol. The game just needs to fix it's core gameplay mechanics, monetization issues and that season wipe but other than that. Let's hope the devs don't screw this up.

I feel you. Well coming from the studio that also made a Gacha-ish version of Torchlight. SoC would've just been an awesome game on it's own without the Gacha but man, almost every good game has to be some sort of live service nowadays.

I can agree. It kinda happened to me when I played genshin impact and star rail. Only upside here is its own free to play campaign which doesn't really need a 5* from the banner. If only this was its own game for maybe 35 or 40. It might've been a smash

Absolutely agree that the gacha is the downside. Game is good enough to be its own standalone ttrg. F2P replayability alone on this game is gonna be wild when you want to correct some mistakes you make.

Totally understand and get your point however seeing the game's art and VFX plus the story which gives off that dark politcal vibe Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics has is worth at least 40 USD compared to paying for a battle pass which you might have to get monthly if you wanna spend money "lightly" in this game. I love the game and totally would love to support the devs if they decided to full on sell this instead of gacha but still a fun game nonetheless. :)

I totally agree. The key and stamina kind of gatekeeps content and also slows down your progress. On launch I'm sure the keys are going to be hard to grind but the F2P section has tons of stuff to do. Stamina is a bitch to balance tbh. It's a weird restriction imposed on players who like to play their fave units. You can do a lot of missions in the F2P part. Once you reach the end of a scenario you need to have a key ready. I'm just hoping it's not grindy as all hell.

From what I’ve seen with many reviews the keys are easy to get and rarely needed. If you just want the story mode you can spend the game currency on more keys instead of pulling for characters. I think it’s worth playing even if it is a gatcha. I personally moved away from mobile gatcha games but I’m 100 percent giving this one a go.

Now when I think about it, it might be that 4 of the jobs could be used only once as a secondary job. So the number should be (8*12)*(7*11)*(6*10)*(5*9) / (1*2*3*4) And this might roughly be taking into acccount the jobs used too many times problem as well. Most probably doesn't though. So we actually have 831 600 combinations in this case.

My mind is blown by this. Thank you for the solution and that is actually a whole lot bigger than what I thought the party combinations would be. Potential 800k upwards to a million is just absolutely wild. I totally appreciate you taking the time to solve that problem. This is just amazing.

No cap it is very F2P friendly. You can play without spending at all combat-wise it is very action heavy. I'd recommend to try this post launch maybe a few months after but there's some good launch bonuses. :D

@@jamesbinks7380 I did play PoE. Great experience tbh and I love the complexity of the skill tree in PoE. Just waiting for PoE 2. The fastest way to hit 70 in D4 would be to have do dungeons with friends and helltides. It just churns out so much exp.
