I watched to learn how to do my daughter's hair. But I just subscribed because she sounds super nice. She apologized for forgetting someone's name, not cursing and talking down to anyone. Loving it, 💙💙💙
Omg girl u are a blessing. I’m doing hubbys hair for the first time and it looks like I already know what I’m doing. Y’all listen to that retwist to the right and twist to the left it works AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I've learned how to do my husband's hair this year, and I'm getting better each time I do it. I'm gonna try the two strands... I hope to be as good you though you did an awesome job 😘
This video was SUPER helpful! I’ve been retwist it my wife’s locs for over a year now but yesterday I went and got me that comb with the pointy end and made sure her parts were very well defined. I then did the two strand twists for the first time and it looks AMAZING! I’m so proud of myself lol. What is in the oil that you use at the end though? I really want to try it…
learning how to retwist so i can do a close friend, who’s like a sister to me, hair for school since she doesn’t see her mom alot & this video was super helpful, thank you! ❤️
This actually helped me a lot I’ve been retwisting my hair but it doesn’t last unless I style it and I get tired of barrel twist so I tried two strand but they never stayed and I just realised It’s because I twist in the same way I retwist the locs but now that I have said to go in the opposite of the retwist I tried it and it worked
My friend needs helps with his hair and im here trying to find a technique I like. I love the ponytail technique. It'll be my first time so any trick to keep me from getting overwhelmed is awesome!
I love to see retwist like this.. ppl giving their hair time to grow and lock.. ppl be trying to get their hair retwisted every week after starters.. damn chill 🤣🤣
The retwist looks so good!! I'm watching to do my boyfriend's hair and I'm a little nervous since I've never done it before. This is the best tutorial I've seen so far!! I'm so excited to give it a try
Sitting up here trynna learn to do my man’s retwist for him so he don’t gotta get his stylist EVERYTIME so thank youuu 😂🖤 I wanna surprise him for his birthday🥹
My wife is learning to do locs and it's getting good. 😊 She wants to know the trick or method to keeping root locked without having to use clips. Are there certain products she should be using?
Needed this video so bad my baby has locs and I’m so tired of trying to find someone to do them lol he keeps asking me and I’m like baby let me study first then I got u but this video is def helpful!! Also what products do you suggest I use?
Great job! Im going to try to do my son’s hair for the first time today. This was very helpful. He’s super tinder headed -wish me luck, lol Can you please give suggestions on what product you were using throughout the retwist? Was that a locking gel?
So I have a bf & he got locs and he want me to start learning so he won’t keep paying I’m Hispanic so I have no experience with the type of hair he got this was the most helpful video
Yesss thank you for this video 🙃 I really wanna learn how to retwist locs for the 1st time on my head before I do anybody else. I been wanting to teach myself how to do it but I would really need somebody that has an class to help me
I’m learning to retwist I started my son’s dreads doing 2strand twist but my boyfriend has dreads and I have to retwist both. I’m new to watching your videos, so I’m sure you have probably covered it before. My questions are what’s the best product to use when doing a retwist, and how long should I allow them to go before I do another touch up?
Thank you for this video I saw my nephew a week ago he need his hair re-loc bad so I know I'm able to do this BTW what type of loc product are you using on his hair, thanks.😊
Love the is video!! Quick question tho…. is there any particular reason to why you dont put the product on the hair while retwisting? Or is it just a preference? I’m learning to retwist for my own purposes!
When I first started sometimes it will take me three or four hours so just practice and your time will get less and less but it takes me an hour sometimes a little longer
I’m starting to learn how to do my locs and others and i’m pretty good at parting and retwisting. I would love to know what product you are using on his hair?
I just got starter 2 strand twist locs, its been 2 weeks since I had them. When do I start washing them and do I wash them like I would normally wash my hair? Also what do I moisturize them with?
Is there any easy way to teach someone how to micro crochet their dreads for maintenance?? I’ve got too many bulges for my liking and my ends are still super frizzy. Any suggestions??
When you’re twisting the hair to make it into a double stand do you kind of have to keep twisting the individual loc to the right as you originally did it while you’re twisting the both of them together left to right to make it stay? Or do you just worry about twisting the individual loc to the right and when you’re ready to make it into a double strand, the only motion you’re doing is literally twisting the two locs? No extra motions in trying to twist it to the right extra as you’re now taking them to double twist it? Idk if that makes sense someone just told me when you do double strand twists that you’re supposed to kind of be doing two twisting motions at once, the individual loc the same way they’re all originally done at the same time you’re twisting the 2 together from the left.
Just been having a really hard time I only tried once and NOTHING stayed but as I’m up at 6 am doing an overnighter trying to figure it out once again I believe the problem was i tried doing it dry with only oil and didn’t even separate the sections and pay attention to the roots like that literally basically tried to twist the locks to together like it was regular strands of hair so once I put the rubber band on the end it all just untwisted and looked like I just took two locs and rubber band the end and that’s it! 😭😭 if I’m didn’t I think the MOST IMPORTANT PART TO DOING LOCS & MAKING THEM STAY is ‼️starting from the roots ‼️bc that’s literally the whole point of really what you’re trying to do ‼️and making sure it’s at least damp‼️ so it is like doing it on free hair that’s not locked at all because youre supposed to be paying attention to the new growth that isn’t locked, having it damp, pretty, and moisturized as you would have to do it to make it stay correct? Not paying attention to the roots and just trying to twist the locked parts of the locs isn’t going to do anything??!! I’m so sorry for how long this is I’m just a person who really wants to learn and understand NOTHING about it AT ALL.
Really would love to be able to do my mans hair because he’s been taking care of me making sure we’re good since forever and has been wanting his hair done for so long and putting it off probably because he just loves to focus on everything US and not just himself sometimes which is admirable and I love him to death but I would love to do more than what I do for him already and get him right. I know he’ll love me being able to do it and so he can always have his hair done❤️❤️ my husband, the greatest love of my life, is a cute Tarzan rn but I do love when he be looking like pimp daddy too😂😂😅 sorry not to simp and add more to this damn book I just wrote for you man but my man deserves the world and I’d love for this to just be another thing I can do for him and have him feel himself more than he already do
Thank you for the video it’s very helpful 🙏. I’m in cosmetology school and my friend asked/trusted me to retwist her hair which I’ve never done before. She showed me how real quick but this video is going to help me give her much better results ✨.
Hello...love your video...I plan on retwisting my starter locs soon for the first time.....plz can u show me slowly on the part after ur done twisting and u kind of flip it and it doesn't unravel,is it the type of oil your using or it's a technique?....I currently don't have clips so that would be helpful to learn.(definitely subscribing and following on IG)

I’d love to purchase your loc gel soon though because for the little you use it definitely gets the job done however for those who cannot get their hands on your product and is on a crunch for time what are the products you recommend them using??? Please & thank you. New Subbie 🤎
so when doin retwist do you have to wash the clients or persons hair first so it can be easier or does it not matter ? cause in your video the hair looks more easier to part but idk if it’s cause of the guys hair or is everyone different?
I watched a Hair because a lot of people don’t know how to wash their hair properly so I like to include that so that I can work with a clean scalp also yes it is slightly easier to part
Hi Keys I was wondering what kind of loc gel do you use I’m 1 year and a few weeks locd and I have eczema and it seems like the majority of the loc gels I use irritate my scalp and face can u recommend one for sensitive skin that has good hold please

Thanks to this video I finally got the hang of retaliating my bfs dreads☺️☺️☺️☺️ I’m so excited 😂
Love to hear it
I told this man I know how to retwist I gotta watch this multiple times😭
Isn’t interlocking better? It’s less manipulation to the loc and doesn’t stress them or thin them out.
No interlocking isn’t better and it can definitely cause stress and thinning
How long do you keep the 2 strand retwist? And what do you do after this time?
As long g as you want . People go weeks or months
@@KeyChanel1 what if i just blow dry them after a day

Thanks so much. I retwist towards the right. To keep my two-strands from coming loose, should I twist right over left?
Twist the locs to the right while you do the two strand to the left

do you blow dry after the the retiwst? like to harden the gel or something? or just leave the hair a tad damp and air dry
Sometimes by the time im finished with the Retwist it’ll just be dry, if not they sit under the dryer for a few minutes.
It looks so Easy😍😍
Thank you! Now I can do my daughter’s hair. What shampoo or conditioner would you suggest and and gel? Thanks!
I love this video thank you for explaining and showing great detail. Question ⁉️ what products are you using
Gel from keyslocs.com
This might be a silly question but do you leave the two strand twists in until the next retwist? Or do you untwist them at some point?
How long does it take for you to do a retwist? No matter the length it’s been taking me 2+ hours I feel like that’s terrible??
When I first started sometimes it will take me three or four hours so just practice and your time will get less and less but it takes me an hour sometimes a little longer
God bless you all and your families 🙏🏽✝️🛐
Is it a normal gel,or locs gel?
Can you please recommend any?
