Snes9x runs doom at wrong faster smoother speed. Mesen-s sometimes has tearing with freesync without vsync enabled. Both have wrong brighter gamma without shader fix.

Great video, why is it when i try boosting the resolution in core options my game looks exactly the same? I noticed theres no option menu, it says core options.

You can only boost the resolution of MODE 7 graphics in the BSNES cores.

I am having an issue. I watched your earlier videos on setting up the xbox and retroarch. I followed step by step. I have my roms and retroarch on my computer and they play no issue. I moved files to thumbdrive and they are all in the .smc file name. The BSNES loads file but all I get is a black screen. Every other SNES emulator says that it cannot load file. This is for ALL of my snes games. What am i doing wrong? In the past (XBOX ONE X) I had this on there about 2 years ago and it worked great.

I don’t mean to bug you, I watch a lot of your videos and they are super helpful. Made emulation on Xbox alot easier following ur vids. Unrelated question, I need help setting up the configs on dolphin and ps2 emulator for Batocera. I took my Batocera setup from pc to steam deck and tried to configure the emulator settings to what you recommended for the Xbox ones. But it didn’t work as well for batocera. Your config settings that you do seem to work the best so I could really use ur help on batocera. If you could make a video or something or reach out to me that would be appreciated. Not really expecting anything since this is random but just hoping 🤞🏻.

I don't use Batocera as I see no point to it for my needs. And a Steam Deck is not the same in performance as an Xbox Series console when it comes to emulation settings. Basic concepts still apply but it won't match 1:1.

@@ArchadesGames That’s understandable. The Xbox series x is more powerful than a steam deck so I shouldn’t expect the same results. And batocera is annoying to setup and get everything working perfectly while using individual emulators is much easier. Thanks though for replying and thank you for all your helpful videos

On steam deck I'd just run Emudeck personally.

It did at one point but it lost it. It still communicates with the servers so hopefully it will be back one day.
