Thats a great result my 99 VT SS was dynoed here in TAS on a dynologic chassis dyno at 279 rwkw with LS6 manifold mild porting rebuilt engine crow 217/228 at 50 cam 590 lift. He should able to pick up an LS6 manifold fairly easy with a bit of searching. I can probably find the manifold correct code number he needs if that helps. It is great to see a streetable early VT making that sort of power!!!
Dont mind the crow cams. Fitted a crow cams 8711250RH 234/242 113 lsa to my vz ls1 has the usual 4into1s twin 3inch manta and a 4000rpm stall stock heads intake, has OTR. It defo drives waaay nicer went a 11.8 115mph on its 2nd pass. Compared to the dog vcm13 238 242 112lsa 😂 it went 11.69 116mph that WAS NOT DAILY FRIENDLY HAHA. Keep the vids coming 🤙🤙
Hey guys when you use this same camshaft in the ls1 with stock heads, do you retain the same push rod length, stock rockers and single or dual valve springs? been looking at your diy online can kits, cheers.
Great vid as always! It looks like you're spinning this to ~6500 RPM. Is there any risk with that sort of RPM on an older LS1? I've seen some conflicting information regarding the rod bolts in a stock bottom end early LS1. Cheers!
I did lots of research on this as I have a VT SS also. 6500 rpm is safe but not more due to the early conrod bolts, mine is set at 6500, It cost $8000 for the rebuild so I am careful with this.
Have you used the 1223 cam in any customer cars its the 229/235, i run this in my ls1 and i can never find much detail of others using it I would love to compare my data with a video youve done but ive never seen you use that cam.

Good to see the LS camshaft upgrades haven’t died off yet, great video mate
Another great video 🤙🏽
Would love to see back to back tests with same motor, same lift and duration and say a 108, 112 and 114 LSA

Hi Brock
Yes our cam kits come with push rods to suit
Great vid as always!

I don't have eny problems spinning them to 6500 rpm just stay of the rev limiter

I have used it but never done a video. I will try and do something soon
