    2.4 is the best tire for that bike and the geometry is best in the high position in my opinion. All the best.

    I have a 2022 Evo Pro in mixed wheel. I just installed a WRP yoke. OMG! Now my mixed wheel rides noticeably different in a very good way. I'm a heavy rider at 225lbs, and it handles everything I can throw at it.

      That's one way to customize your ride feel 👍. Glad it's working for you!

    I love my stumpy evo had it for 6 months now currently in the High rear slack front setup. I might try the Low rear in a bit after hearing your input.

      Low position in the rear is my favorite!

    How has your bottom bracket held up from impacts? I'm riding the same trails as you and I really like the feel of the low setting but also worry about rock strikes so I leave it high.

      I definitely strike more often and I had an issue with a crank spindle that started to make noise but overall It doesn't happen often enough for me to warrant running high position all the time.

    I don't really like inserts because they make the tire ramp more a lot more progressive making the bike harsher.

      that's the first time I've heard that, less air causes better suspension, right?

    • @Raumance
      @Raumance Рік тому +1

      @@8664antonio But it's not less air. It's less air in less space. It ramps up faster than a tire without an insert with more volume. You've heard about volume spacers? Works the same.
      And yes having less air would make small bump compliance better.

      100% disagree with this comment. Lol

      @@JJMassar There is nothing to disagree with it's just the factual physics of how air works. Maybe you don't understand it but that is not the same as disagreeing.

      I'm torn on inserts. I agree they could potentially make for a harsher ride since the tire is bottoming out on the foam insert instead of running through its travel. I am able to run a lower psi though making small bumps better and for big hits I'm not smacking the wheel when I blow through the tire travel. I'm also curious if running inserts is not allowing the tire to behave how it was engineered to. Maybe smaller inserts that take up less travel are the way to go, best of both worlds. Only way to find all this out is a back to back test on a section of terrain.

      @@mrvwbug4423 according to the specialized sizing chart, I fit barely fit the S3, but it's more of a preference thing. My new bike I am making videos soon for is an S4 though.

    You rear shock, can you give me the size or mesures on it, I am looking to upgrade the same for my stump jumper specialized. Thank you very good info

      Do you have the comp model? It'd be the same shock, just the next level up fox float
