EVERYTHING You Need To Know About My Stumpjumper EVO
how tall are you? i'm 5'8" and i just test rode the s3 sl pro carbon and it was killer but it did feel a little tight. i'm wondering if i should try an s4
I’m 5’11” and the S4 is perfect. S3 might be a bit more in your range but scaling up to S4 wouldn’t hurt if you prefer that slightly bigger bike feel
Beautiful cinematography!
Thank you!
What was the last trail that took you over some rock features by the condos at Denver West, right before you hit the ditch trail?
I don’t believe it’s an official trail so not sure!
@FoxxtonR I guess that means that I'll have to get over there and explore.
Great info thnx for sharing! What storage capacity is typical for this cam and your setup?
Thank you! I usually am just fine with a 64gb card but will occasionally take more storage if needed
Great video. My rides are kinda boring but I might use the video techniques somewhere else. Edit: link to your instagram above doesn’t work. Found you on IG anyway.
Thank you! Just updated the link, thanks for the heads up on that!
I experimented but leave mine neutral front and high position for now. I may slack and lower it if I start hitting steeper stuff again. It's nice to have options in the Fraser Valley.
Dakota🤘🏼

Could that be flowd hill
Close!
Dakota Ridge, I'd know that gnarfest anywhere haha
Gnarly POV 🔥
Thats sick bro
This looks sick I’ll definitely check this out in the spring!
Pavrd trails and an e-bike. The new normal.
Just the other day I FINALLY cleared the entire rock garden section on the south side. This waterfall section will be next!
Heck yeah, you got this 👍 send it
I have a turbo levo comp CF. I highly recommend Schwalbe Eddy Current tire for Ebikes if you want the best long lasting tires to handle the weight. People are getting 1000mi + a set. Well worth it. Second is thickest brake rotors you can get 220mm on the front. Third is clean and lube every ride. I use a parks chain cleaner tool, compressed air to dry quickly and lube after the ride so I'm set for the next. Should make the drivetrain last longer. Love the turbo levo so much. I'm more gravity focused and it so much more fun on an E-bike.
Fastest figure 8 I’ve ever seen!! I can’t believe they got rid of that little jump at the bottom of lithic, it was a nice ending to a ride at NTM ☹️
Yeah it was bound to happen unfortunately
I live relatively close to NTM as well. I do the figure 8 route several times a year. Surprised I’ve never crossed paths with you. Of course, as fast as your going, you would just be a blur😂
Love those Electric Unicycles at the pub!🔥
Oh nice! I haven't seen Hopper! Did they just open it?
It opened when drop shaft opened! Its kinda hidden so lots don't seem to know about it yet
When riding alone in remote areas do u carry any kind of protection? I’m from Michigan and do a lot of riding alone - nothing to worry about n Michigan!
I usually bring some sort of protection on very remote or long rides, otherwise I don't have much to worry about usually. I should be packing all the time though if I were really trying to be safe tbh
Protection from what?
@@gogofastful Sasquatch
One of the blue trails at VC?
What’s the name?
Hopper!
I don't know, Where?
Hopper at Virginia canyon!
Great job. Some sweet climbs. Missed the southern part of Dakota Ridge. Also skipped the southern Matthew Winters climb. You did the easiest loop (not very easy). I know it's tough. I walked half of it this summer. Just want people to know this trail is very VERY difficult. Impressed with what I did see.
Thank you! I recently have gotten much more fluid on this loop and the nearby trails but doesn't make it any less difficult! I'll have to get the southern portion on camera sometime as well!
Carbon frame, plush suspension and slacked/lowered. That’s not a great way to ensure that frame lasts. I did that with a Norco and damage the carbon bottom bracket.
This is true, just have to be careful!
Great video. Appreciate all the info!
What a dumb landing for that feature.
Dad shreds!
You'll have to throw in south dakota ridge, tho all the hulk climb moments burn your quads to embers. But some fun extended tech out there. Nice work on the vid.
Thank you! The south part is great, well put
scary!! where was this recorded?
Idaho springs, co
Ouch
Damn that looked painful wishing you a speedy recovery
Wow. This was really helpful! I'll make sure not to get the two mixed up next time.
I have some serious beathing problems (asthma), and I really miss being able to hang with my bike friends and ride with them much anymore due to my nagging issues. I just pulled the trigger a couple of days ago on one of these bikes as several of my bike friends actually recommended it. Although I guarantee they will give me crap the day I show up with it, they will likely want one themselves once they see how much fun I am having on it!
Great vid! Liked the commentary as it comes off as genuine. There are a few blue to black runs you missed in Sloughterpin that are really fun but hey.... you can catch them next time. Also you prob know this but Coler and Slaughterpin in Bentonville are just a part of what is in a 45 min drive radius. Literally hundreds of miles of trials.
Thank you! There were quite a few trails closed when I went, plus didn't show some trails that we hit on camera but still, after 3 days of riding, we barely saw anything. I will be coming back for sure!
Dope content. When I hit Maryland Mountain I do Fast Money then Paymaster then back up to finish off going down Millsite. I like Hard Money, too but those 3 descents are just a tad bit more fun for me.
Thank you! That's also a great route!
that looks so beautiful!!
Where is this located in Leadville
Just south of town!
'chicken wire' non slip is brilliant
When I retire next year on my list. Looks like sooo much fun
Didn't think I'd get to ride it this year, but I got a chance to squeeze in a lap on it yesterday and I'm really glad I did because it definitely lived up to the hype. This is the first trail I've ridden that really makes me envy everyone on an eMTB haha, it's a solid climb on an acoustic bike - probably always going to be a one-and-done for me - was fully worth it though!
Glad you enjoyed! I'm very excited that we've got these new options on the front range!
You definitely made the right choice bringing e-bikes to Bentonville. It's the e-MTB capitol of the world.
lol im on these trails daily and i dont see a lot of ebikes out side of older folks, but it is huge for mountain biking.
Comparing it to Colorado, they are practically everywhere. I saw about a 50 50 ratio while I was out!
Yea.. Lots of e-mtb here I have a analog and a emtb and for what it is worth my analog is collecting dust. I get 3 times the downhill runs in, and feel just as wornout when I get back to the house.
Looks like a great time. We rode moto at a place with wild buffalo in Arkansas 3 yrs ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the single track trails there also. It was a fun 2 days riding! Now I want to go mtb in Bentonville!
Nice! I'd like to have something like that in the neighborhood to practice on/hit at lunch/after work but nothing beats our mountain trails. Stoked that such a place can exist in that part of the country. Were there outlets near the campground to re-charge your gear?
Yes there was a place to recharge everything at the campground!
im jealous of the folks in bella vista with trails running through their backyard
We used to ride it going the other direction up the side of the road cut as our starting point. We called it "Humble Hill" I was was so stoked the first time I made it all the way up without stoping. That was back in 1990 on my GT Avalanche. Trail looks seriously eroded now. Sure was fun back then. My favorite place in town back then. I sat up there once and watched races at Bandimere down below. Good times.
I'm sure it was a much different trail back then!
Hi there. Thank you very much for your video and opinion about ebikes, in particular the levo. Could you please share how you are using your Eco, trail and Turbo settings? Thanks a lot. Greetings from Portugal.
Hello! Thank you! My settings are the standard out of box power settings for each mode. I am often in trail mode for a good balance, but occasionally switch to turbo to zoom up something or to do long distance on pavement. I am rarely in eco mode unless trying to save power towards the end of a ride or if I'm riding with people on regular bikes. Hopefully this answers your question!
@@FoxtonR thank you. It helped a lot. I am starting , just bought a levo. So every information is very helpful. Thanks and all the best
@@nelsonsilva9602 Which part of portugal do you ride in? I was born there, near Alcobaca, and live in the U.S. now. I also own the 2022 levo comp and it's my favorite mountain bike!
@@lucman22aa i ride mostly in sintra and Arrábida but portugal is loaded with fantastic trails and landscapes, being Lousã, maybe the top one
Done it twice already. It makes me want to buy a bigger bike and learn how to jump- LOL. That sun was killer- morning is perfect if you can swing it! Nice riding.
Thank you! Morning is the time to go!
