    Hey there friends.
    I thought it was time I sent out a reply since you have all sent me your great wishes since watching my DBS video.
    It's been 6 and a half years since my surgery.
    And am pleased to say that since the surgery my symptoms are reduced by 95 %
    So truthfully life couldn't be better.
    Thank you all for your kind words.
    Andrew.

    I would just like to say how wonderful it is to see the video concerning Andrew. I live in England in a small village in Hampshire called Grayshott. My church, St Luke's have been praying in earnest for Andrew, for the surgeons and his wife. It is wonderful to see how blessed he has been - it encourages us in our prayer life. So pleased for you Andrew and Amy, God bless.

      The church & ‘god’ have absolutely nothing to do with a documented medical problem, and a scientifically documented surgical solution to control the condition as much as possible.
      No ‘god’ gave him a medical condition, and no ‘god’ had anything to do with his improvement either. It’s biology & chemistry, nothing to do with the ‘tooth fairy’ or ‘Santa Claus’, or any of the other religions which all claim to be ‘correct’ and your religion ‘incorrect.’
      While wasting your life following a religion, do you have any idea how disgustingly rich that the heads of these religions are? The Church of England have enormous sums of money, but far more value by way of all the land & buildings it owns. The Vatican Bank is well documented how massively rich it is. Mormons & Scientologists are forced to ‘donate’ (essentially taxed) on their earnings which have to go to the church.
      Not only is it just made up stories written before society & the human race was so advanced to know any better, but people/organisations get appallingly rich from it.
      If you add up the total value of all the money & property from all the religions, it is the richest industry in the world, *even more than the oil industry* but somehow there’s still gullible people who lap it up.

    I just turned 36. I was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome in June of 2018. It took over 7 years for me to get my diagnosis. I'm still currently on clonazepam to try and control it, because they've had me on it since February of 2012. This video gave me a little hope. I'm really happy for Andrew. God Bless. 😊

    I have Tourettes as well and I wave my hand on my face and it'll cause me to twitch if it gets bad and my face goes numb and it will tingle but for some reason it only happens around light and sun

    It must be so awful to suffer from this, exhausting, it's so brilliant that it worked for him! But why is the NHS not doing this in the UK - or is it?

    • @DylanF
      @DylanF 5 років тому

      It does but it's case by case. DBS is a very experimental procedure and there's a lot of risks to it. There could be various reasons why he didn't have it done in the UK. I couldn't help but notice his wife sounds American. His place of living might be one factor?

    • @andrewjoannou6610
      @andrewjoannou6610 4 роки тому

      Jenny,
      they had done DBS in the uk however the NHS only did it on a clinical trial.
      i had a friend whom.had it done on an NHS trial.however when his batteries went flat they removed it all.
      so.his symptoms returned.
      this is why I refuse to return back to the uk to live.
      because I woud'nt get this treatment in the uk.

    What a great video that is full of information. actually, my friend has suffered from this problem. During this time he was very upset. Then Someone told him about Planet Ayurveda, he went there and took treatment. Now he is fine. So, if anyone is facing such kind of problem or any other health-related problem. You should go to Planet Ayurveda

    0:59 "the exact cause for tourette's is unknown, but it is well established that both genetic and environmental factors are involved" please, don't mention environmental, it doesn't matter where you grew up, if you have tourette's, you have tourette's and genetics.... i mean what are you on about? People with tourette's may be the only one in the entire family who have it, which would make sense considering only about 8-10% of humans have it, depending on the type of course. One more thing, you say that "the exact cause for tourette's is unknown" you don't suppose it's the brain that could be causing tourette's? or are you doing that on purpose, saying you don't know the cause when you do? Everything about us is all because of our brains, and yes it is, if you don't believe me, than I suggest you shut down your brain and see what happens, stop lying to us, the brain is the reason why people have tourette's
