Joying wins in older cars with dual shafts specifically because of their design. You can remote mount the screen with the brain box behind the dash. I have this in my 1976 buick Regal and will soon have the 11.6 inch model in my 1972 Chevy blazer

Unfortunately that car was totaled a week and a half ago and so was the unit. I am now trying to find something that will fit my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. While I do love the OEM look, my main concern is not losing the functionality of the dash (CD player, front and rear climate, etc). I know you listed Seicane in your Top 10, so do you think they are worth a shot? Or, if going the T'eyes route, do they have options that would help retain the original functionality of my dash controls? Thanks again!
Awesome video!! Before I ask my question, let me just get the background explained quickly. I have a Volvo C30, it’s in the P1 group which includes the S40, V50 and C70. They all have the somewhat famous "waterfall" centre console. I am looking to install an Android head unit, but I'm new at this and trying to figure out what to get. The biggest problem I'm facing is that I have automatic double climate control, and I need the temp settings to be displayed on the new head unit. All other information is either not nessesary to display (volume, fan speed), already on a different display (cruise control, door indicator), or is shown by little led indicator lights on the centre console (heated seats, automatic AC on/off, fan-blow direction etc.). I need an android head unit that can take input from the centre console control buttons and steeringwheel buttons for the menues and radio etc. I also want it to have its own sim, so that it can run (with internet) completely on its own. Great video and very informative. I own a 2002 rover 75 and wish to replace the original radio. I only have standard speakers in the car. Is it possible that you could recommend a unit for this model around £200 to £250 ponds. Thank you
Another 75 enthusiast here, mine is a 99 pre project build V6 CON-SE. I have the same idea as yours and just bought an unbranded 9" IPS Android 8-core 3GB/32GB head unit from eBay which is customised for E46/ZT and CANBUS in built with LTE, wireless CarPlay/Andorid Auto, full spectrum DSP... and many other toys you name it all-in for £170. It sounded too good to be true then the nightmare had come immediately after getting it hooked up. FM radio crashed like hell, it refused to work after mins of use and to require a reboot bringing back for another mins of reception, it also refused to hibernate at most of the time so it always took around 25 secs to fire up when turning the ACC on. The unit is checked being a lower spec'd TFT-LCD instead of IPS, RAM is 1GB less not even mentioning whether or not the ROM is SD instead of SSD based... Wasted of my time and got it returned eventually, just avoided, Instead, I have just thrown my trust to an Xtrons, browsed being the cheapest in town tho still a bit overpriced in my opinion for a 9" IPS 2.5D curved digitaliser; 4-core 2GB/32GB almost identically spec'd to the one I returned but without LTE and wireless CarPlay for £190, I have also purchased a DAB+ dongle and an ADH reverse cam all for £220 slightly over my budget of £200. It would come next week, let you know how it works if you are interested. BTW, the steering wheel controls were working perfectly fine on those Chinese units just so you know.
What head units do you recommend for 2015 Astra J. Must have apple car play, dab, Bluetooth etc and for a 2014 corsa D and have the same features. Cheers P.s I would like the Tesla type screen for the Astra
Have you tried Junsun? Looks alot similar to Teyes. It is available in Europe and costs like 200 pounds for v1pro with 8gb ram. Really thinking about buying it but very hesitant

I would like to get some feedback on junsun as well, did you bought it ?
@ hi guys. I actually bought the Junsun along with a cusotmized cable from them for a kia ceed. Damn the cable came non cusotmized and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced buying a product from anywhere. I do not recommend buying it. I Hvr returned mine as the support was straight pain in the a**
Hi, Great insights! I would like to go for a Teyes, but they don't make the CC3 model for my car (needed for Carplay/Android Auto which I'm actively using). Looking around, the Junsun V1 Pro keep popping up. Do you have any experience with that one?
Been watching your videos especially the teyes head unit. Have you encounter any problems with the head unit? I read some feedbacks that their wifi and mobile data for LTE is not working anymore, have you experienced that?
Hi, thanks to you I have ordered a cc3 for my Toyota Estima, I want to get a roof-mounted DAB antenna, do you recommend one? Thanks again for you brilliant videos.
Please advise in most of the android unit available in market having poor fm reception and fm is not very clear and very fade. So are these brands units in your video having good fm receptions or same as available in the market???
Great content, I’ve shifted my attention away from xtrons now, they seem to be overpriced and quite a few reviewers experience problems although they do have a decent customer service
I had an Xtrons and it was a nice unit with a tilt external adjustable screen, but the screen would shake on bumpy roads which was distracting. Though the screen was large 10.1" the resolution was about was only 640x480 thus a bit blurry compared with other units that are double 1280x1020 (IPS OR OLED) or better resolution today. It would over heat and not turn on right away if direct sunlight was on the screen while parked outside on hot days until the air conditioning would cool it off a bit. The deal breaker with Xtrons is the wires on the harnesses were tiny and after adding amps and other things over a few years the tiny wires on the harnesses began to wear out and they're just too tiny for the average person to repair thus I ended up combining 2 channels because I lost one rear speaker wire (broke in half at the harness plug and too close to others to attempt repair) on the wiring harness. The better units have thicker gauge wiring that's not as delicate as Xtrons. My new unit has 8 Core CPU with 8Gb of memory and a 128 ROM storage space.
Awesome video, thank you! Curious, do you have any recommendations for a smart / android head unit that supports various race car track lap timer apps or anything like that? I used to install audio on peoples daily drivers but that was like 20 years ago and have been focused on creating CRM databases since :/
i like watching your videos about the chines android player , what you think which android platform is the most stable platform specially 2+32gb and 4+64gb ?
For me, vehicle integration is *THE* number one criteria, even above sound quality (assuming it's not crap of course). I need climate controls information more than anything because currently that info is displayed on the stock head unit: If it's removed I won't know what temperature I've set the climate to. This fact has made it very tricky to find a head unit that will fill that need (that, and also the fact that there doesn't seem to be a CANBUS decoder for my car - 2016 Kia Soul - which makes me believe that perhaps one isn't needed).
Hi there. Great video comparing the top units. I have the Idoing in my wrx for over a year now, and it is great. Now I'm looking to get another one of these head units for my other subaru. I see they make one from Teyes for my car as well. Now I'm debating between Idoing and Teyes. I like the Idoing from the point that it sits flat as the oem but not a big fan on the display being vertical. On the other hand, the Teyes one sits horizontal, but it sticks out quite a bit from the face of the original head unit. Any preference on this? Also, Idoing has wireless android auto where Teyes does not. Thanks.
I woyld like to thank you because i learned a lot about android head units from your video. I would like to ask you a quwstion if you can help me. Do you know any android head unit with a Gyroscope ? So i can see the vihicle incline via some app?
Has there been any better ones to come out since you did this review? Based on the three you have here, which one would you recommended for an open top vehicle that is always exposed to sun light? I currently have the Dasaita Vivid with an anti-glare, but when the sun is behind me while driving I can't see anything. It makes the whole experience of having one of these useless. Are any of three you have reviewed here equal to that of a cell phone or tablet screen with the max brightness? Are there any other ones that aren't as superior to these but have a nice bright screen?

Pleased to have found your channel. I am looking to change the head unit on my 2004 Toyota Landcruiser LC5. I love the car and want to keep it for as long as possible but the head unit is 19 years old now and it's not good tbh! The more I look the more I am confused. Can you recommend a unit for my vehicle, please?
So, I have installed front and rear HD 1080/720 cameras, and I have also installed left and right side fender-mounted HD 1080/720 blind-spot monitoring cameras. Which head unit will allow me to monitor the left, right, and rear cameras when reversing, the front camera when moving forward, and the rear camera when driving on normal highways to monitor vehicles behind me? The reason for all of these visual driving aids is that I'm a disabled driver, and I need to keep an eye on all the vehicles around me peripherally to avoid collisions with any other vehicle. I need my visual cortex to assist me. My Audi A2 1.6 FSi (in mint condition) is an older model vehicle manufactured in 2026, but a classic nonetheless. I want to upgrade it with Tesla-like features without having to go out and buy a Model Three, as I cannot afford it right now. So, which unit do you recommend?
Can you recommend a single din head unit that has good audio quality and an option to turn on the rearview camera while moving forward? Teyes CC3 is too large for my R52 mini Cooper. Atoto S8 may be my only choice, since they have a reasonably sized screen, and advertise live rear view, but I'm worried it won't have the audio quality of the Joying. My car just has way too many blind spots to not take advantage of the new screen and cameras while driving.
Thank you for sharing. It’s awesome as always. We still have SAAB service centers available in Taiwan. I only go to the local SAAB service center whenever my SAAB NG 95 may need any maintenance. What I am having “an issue” is that the staff in the SAAB service center always would say “ we better not to do anything or try to install any Android Car head units for my car” because they think it’s quite complicated and tricky to be sure all matters would run smoothly for SAAB NG95 when it comes to head unit. I even personally showed one of your videos as Idoing head unit installation to SAAB service center staff but they’re still acting quite negatively. May I ask for your opinion as what the worst situation I could run into if I still get an Idoing car head unit and then go to other car service center to install it for my SAAB NG 95? 🤔 Thank you
I mean, from a wiring perspective, it's plug and play. The loom plugs into the 9-5 cables, and the other side goes into the Idoing magic box. The most awkward part is actually mounting the screen, I did this by clamping it to the dash trim. I did actually record myself fitting it, I have no idea what happened to that footage. I'll see if I can find it
Will the Teyes split screen allow both nav and cameras to be displayed at the same time? Since the two screen sizes are not standard DIN, could you get the 10.2 in a double din slot with some grinding? I think I saw you successfully install the 9" in your volvo.
I have a 96 ford bronco and am looking for a single din head unit with a 10 inch screen. My priorities are are sound quality so need something with a good clean signal and control of cross over points and good eq. Looking for android based unit so I can download apps. No need for android auto or Apple play. I do have a android phone though. What would you recommend from these different Chinese brands that is still somewhat affordable? Thank you. Love your videos and watch most of them but just get more confused the more I watch. Lol

Hi buddy, bought the Teyes CC3 2K but the shipping company returned package to the seller without even leaving china, so while i was waiting the refound i seen the Seicane H6N-JK in aliexpress, i mean almost 90 USD less and the only relevant difference is the DSP chip built Teyes has two integrated chip and Seicane H6NJK just one. I know that you maked a review of one low cost unit Seicane but what do you think of the brand in this units top of the range? awesome channel by the way!
There's generally much more to consider beyond just the DSP and you're essentially trying to compare one of the very top teir brands and Seicane. Now, I wasn't actually aware that Seicane did high-end stuff, and at the prices shown, they do look impressive. But there are some suspect stats, such as Android 13 which is definitely not going to be true. Maybe 12. Ultimately, I need to check these out so I'm going to see if I can get hold of one. In the meantime, if you want something cheap and good, look at EKIY - ua-cam.com/video/SkRUwDKV9rQ/v-deo.html

Hi I'm very fun of your channel and I think your doing amazing job to inform people but my question is what would be a perfect a head unit for my Mistubish 2018 outlander and I don't care about the price just fastest, the good quality for watching a Netflix and UA-cam and I'm using android phone and i do have a 4 cameras, sit hitting, steering wheel hitting, and cruise control, and voice commands on the wheel thanks.

Eonon is on my top 10 list which I briefly mention towards the end of this video. But yes, it's always good to look at your options
@@SaabUnleashed Yeah I noticed
Just nice to hear about different units.
This space finally has some options now after years of only a few
Any insights on TQLC, or anything for the Lexus GX specifically?
Is this a good buy for a VW transporter?
Hi, are you familure with the Podofo brand head units? What is your opinion of the quality? Thank you.
Great content, looking to upgrade the unit in my Jeep, how does one go about using XM raido with one of these head units?
Hiya, wanted to ask about the teyes brand.
Have been to the website and cannot seem to find if they do a universal system. Is everything car specific?
Use a tablet or computer as found the website showed more on my iPad than my iPhone and did see universal units on there
What head units do you recommend for 2015 Astra J. Must have apple car play, dab, Bluetooth etc and for a 2014 corsa D and have the same features. Cheers
P.s I would like the Tesla type screen for the Astra
Have you tried Junsun? Looks alot similar to Teyes. It is available in Europe and costs like 200 pounds for v1pro with 8gb ram. Really thinking about buying it but very hesitant
I would like to get some feedback on junsun as well, did you bought it ?
Same, seems very identical indeed… but much cheaper.
From what I’ve seen their support isn’t the best though.
@ hi guys. I actually bought the Junsun along with a cusotmized cable from them for a kia ceed.
Damn the cable came non cusotmized and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced buying a product from anywhere.
I do not recommend buying it. I Hvr returned mine as the support was straight pain in the a**
Have you tried ruancheng a20?
Hi,
Great insights! I would like to go for a Teyes, but they don't make the CC3 model for my car (needed for Carplay/Android Auto which I'm actively using). Looking around, the Junsun V1 Pro keep popping up. Do you have any experience with that one?
I don't but that is a brand I'm looking to review soon
Been watching your videos especially the teyes head unit. Have you encounter any problems with the head unit? I read some feedbacks that their wifi and mobile data for LTE is not working anymore, have you experienced that?
I don't use it for LTE but I have never had an issue for WiFi, it's still installed in my car
Any other manufacturer has zero customer service always buy with a credit card because eonon joying customer service number never answers
I used to install audio on peoples daily drivers but that was like 20 years ago and have been focused on creating CRM databases since :/
i like watching your videos about the chines android player , what you think which android platform is the most stable platform specially 2+32gb and 4+64gb ?
hi do you offer Head unit selection advice as a service? im looking to purchase one for my vehicle but the amount of choices is extremely overwhelming
I don't know if you have already answered my question but what do you think about JUNSUN OR AWESAFE android head unit brands?
What do you think of the ownice k7? I want to get it.
Thank you so much
For me, vehicle integration is *THE* number one criteria, even above sound quality (assuming it's not crap of course).
So what did you end up getting?
@@janaulicna9956 I've put it on hold for a while, but probably a T'Eyes.
Have you tested EKIY Q7 unit? Is it any good?
Thanks.
Please review pluscenter headunit no one has done yet..
I will see if I can get one, but I can already tell you it's going to be terrible
Witch one is best for saab 9?
I woyld like to thank you because i learned a lot about android head units from your video. I would like to ask you a quwstion if you can help me. Do you know any android head unit with a Gyroscope ? So i can see the vihicle incline via some app?
Hi can you review a dynavin d8
Thanks Nick
What is your average price for the installation of a Head unit.....
How are they with quality speakers?
Do you get in the CC3 - the Canbus Cable stuff in the packet or do you have to buy it extra ? do you know that
Yes you do, it comes with everything. (Unless you get a Universal one
what would you put in a 80 series landcruiser - sony ax5000 didnt handle the suns reflection of a day
It would be nice to see an Atoto S8 Ultra2 review. That is top of the line Atoto.
I've reviewed three Atotos, but addmitadly not the latest Ultra offerings. I'll have a look at getting one
@@SaabUnleashed very nice. You have really opened my eyes to android headunits.
hi have you heard of pumkin head units lots of them for sale would love to see you do a review of them ,,,thanks great info from you ,,
I already have :) check my channel
@@SaabUnleashed hi thanks i am going to get the xtron ICE/HU/TIB110LN thing is i am unsure what i need to get it connected to my fiat motorhome (ducato) 2018 it has dab sat nav and external mic ,,,can i use these or do i need to order new ones from xtron ,,,thanks
What about junsuns are they any good?
Which unit do you prefer? Mekede M6 Pro Plus or Teyes CC3 2k for KIA Carens 2014
What launcher are you using on joying?
Hi boss love your videos, could you please do an install on Vw caddy 2016 for the teyes cc3
What about Aucar or Syschotech which is an Aucar but more affordable.
Would you have a recommendation for an 2009 E61 BMW 530i?
Can you recommend a single din head unit that has good audio quality and an option to turn on the rearview camera while moving forward? Teyes CC3 is too large for my R52 mini Cooper. Atoto S8 may be my only choice, since they have a reasonably sized screen, and advertise live rear view, but I'm worried it won't have the audio quality of the Joying. My car just has way too many blind spots to not take advantage of the new screen and cameras while driving.
Do you need a separate dvr dashcam camera for it to read the road lines or is the 4 camera setup for birdseye view enough?
I'll see if I can find it
@@SaabUnleashed Thank you. That’s very good to know. Appreciated
Sounds great.
I dream my wife talks about me the way you talk about Teyes
Do you think justnavia is a good brand It’s the only one I can find for my year and model
Will the Teyes split screen allow both nav and cameras to be displayed at the same time? Since the two screen sizes are not standard DIN, could you get the 10.2 in a double din slot with some grinding? I think I saw you successfully install the 9" in your volvo.
Id like to know this also
I have a 96 ford bronco and am looking for a single din head unit with a 10 inch screen. Lol
Hi Saab, thanks for the video, very helpful! I own a 2006 Range Rover L322 (Jaguar engine), and I’m looking to upgrade the old head unit with an Android head unit. Wondering if you have any advice on potential options. Maybe one this video? Really love Tayes… Definitely looking for an option that can successfully retain/display most of my RR factory setting/features. What would you recommend?!
Good Morning Sir, I have a ford transit Mk7. The original radio is a 6000 CD, Im looking for a plug and play android radio to replace it..Can you give me any tips please? Thanks for your great videos.
@@SaabUnleashed Thanks guy, i make a search in google with "issues Seicane" and i think I'll let it go, because the results seem worries, yeah the most of them are of units some old but the same search with Teyes really didn't found anything like that so I gladly pay the extra 90 USD, I proceed to see your recommendation!
oh plus one, it haven't fan, no fan no fun!!
What android headunit would you suggest that can be bought in the uk ?
Hi what would you recommended for AlfaRomeo 159?
