Thanx for sharing mate!!! I got myself an old W124 c200 that i am in the process of restoring. love the old ship.:) have to learn about this 175cd carb on it. :)
You are welcome anytime. You should do some videos of it, I would love to see it. One thing I did not take out that I should have since it sat so long is the needle valve. I never did take it a clean it, I am not sure if this is reason it is running rich, but I cannot get it tuned. However, I have not had a chance to get at it, I still have not gotten the king pins back. Thank you for watching.
I suppose you could, but it seems that gas has turned into varnish, it reeks. If I get the a new tank I will get the straps and the sender. I am probably going to sell the car when I am done and the optics of the new gas tank would be a plus. It is safer as well.

The Awakening. That's a good idea. I will dust off the camera.
That really doesn't look all that bad. TFS!
Yeah I was shocked considering what the gas looked like when I took the gas tank out. Thank you for watching.
The Awakening Is the any hope of steam cleaning the tank as opposed to getting a new one?
