I did this 2 years ago UAD....great thing. No issues. WAZE helps know things (cameras, police, traffic jams, potholes, objects on the road, etc.). Voice text. Great stuff.
That regular apple car play and android auto module for a pre facelift (pre 2018) is available from unique auto developments. It still only works with the smaller screen though. For 2018+ you can upgrade the 8 inch unit to the 10 inch like you have already done. I wish you could get the 10 inch on the pre facelift.
@@MrGB_UK I don't even have the f type yet lol. Ive been looking at my options and deciding which spec to buy. Hopefully next year. The install looks straight forward based on UA-cam videos
@@LagunaLeonhart sorry! Totally forgot that. Just remember you can only put the larger screen in the car if it’s a 2018MY and has JCK in the VIN number. I’ve got a video dropping explaining it next week 👍🏻

@@LagunaLeonhart I’m by no means a financial advisor, but I think you’ll be hard pushed to find 0% finance unless you have a credit card with a hefty limit. Interest rates rocketed after Covid and most dealerships/franchises make a fair whack of commission from finance packages. The going rate seems to be 8-9.9% at the moment

I’ve got the larger screen as my car is a 2018 but does not have Apple CarPlay . How can I get it. Can it be downloaded our do I need an a add on unit.
i always wanna upgrade mine to a bigger screen and also wireless carplay, plx let us know how to do it, and can my 2015 3.0 F-Type able to upgrade?(not facelift)
It's from unique auto developments. Make sure you pick the correct one for your f type. There are 3 on their site. One for the earliest ones with the Bosch system, one for the Harman system and then finally one for someone with a post 2018 model which is sort of pointless because they can simply upgrade to the 10 inch screen anyway from LR Retrofits
Great insight on both w/l charging and this C/P adapter - have F pace with 10” screen already, with c/p. Like you say, will be a great combo 👍🏻
