I'm just wondering how do the little diamonds stay in place without falling off?
I think he "rivets" (if that even is the right word) the metal around the stones to hold them in place.
Stone setting
The wearer has to make sure not to be rough with it too. No scrubbing pots or dirty dishes or tubs. Mine is similar and I only wear it outside of the house

Tiny claws around each stone hold them in place. (I used to work in a jewellers)
