I have never seen anyone putting the stones in during the casting process. This is new!! Very nice locking mechanism you have there.
I had no idea rubies could take that kind of heat and tumbling! Amazing
I also didn’t know you could do lost wax casting with stones attached! Fantastic !!!
Amazing workmanship! You can tell by the expression in your face how much pride you put into your work.
Thanks Igor.

hola y a ti elier olivos y jimmy labán.
thanks for presenting the ideas, tips and close up shots of the work. 👍
Thank you very much Arel, I send you a hug from Peru. By the way I already mentioned your regards to Jimmy He is very happy.
That was incredible to watch. Never seen a 3D printer used before let alone to make jewellery. You are a true craftsman - fabulous
Thank you so much.
Wow what are those stones made of? never seen anyone cast with stones on the wax and than again soldering the whole piece at the end with the stones, Incredible
Hello. No stone was broken. Yes you can cast the stones, it is a fairly common practice in jewelry, but the stones you use have to be those that resist extreme heat and after casting you have to wait for the cylinder to cool gently until it reaches ambient temperature, thermal shock has to be avoided. Thanks for your support.
Yeah this make me wonder the same thing! interesting technique.
Thank you.
@@ElierOlivos What stones are being used? Also natural or lab grown? This was interesting to see! great work!
@@andrekamber most lab created corundum stones (rubies in this case) will resist heat as long as they cool down properly
@Elier Olivos 😀😀😀😉👍

Really appreciate this video showing so much detail and the effort that goes into making a beautiful jewellery. Thank you.
You are a great man. Thanks for sharing your video.
It's such a complicated and laborous process but most of us thought the jewellery just comes out of the printer like a printed comb, in a few minutes! Thank you so much for your time making this video and also answering our comments, I feel bad even posting this as you must be an incredibly busy man! So, please, don't feel obliged to answer my post. Thank you again.💍📿🥀
Hello Ekaterina, thank you very much for commenting and watching the video. Don't worry there is always space and time to reply to a friend.
It makes sense why jewelry is so expensive from all the labor I agree
@@cameronsteinman1965 jewellery requires very little labour you’re paying for the materials they over charge u for
@@daquaviousbingleton9763 This comment is how I know you don't make jewelry. Lol. Yes many jewelers(and every other business in existence charges a markup on material. That helps when the price of gold or silver in this case increases...) But handmade jewelry like this takes quite a bit of time and labor to make. There is a difference between this type of work and mass produced items most "big" jewelry companies offer
Beautiful.. how much time did the whole process take?
This man has the patience of Job. He is one awesome designer !
Thank you Joanne.
Felicidades maestro Elier.
Muchas gracias a Ud mi estimado Antonio.
Estou encantada. Que trabalho lindo, parabéns
I'm jealous of all that equipment you have! I'm like a dinosaur carving wax models and lost wax casting... Nice work!
Did any of those stone crack!! You casted with the stones dude that’s crazy

@@ElierOlivos Wow! I never seen it done, I got nervous. I thought you forgot but, I was like I know he sees them. Lol. But it’s beautiful and a completely different process I love that jeweler’s like your self sharing your craft you inspire people like myself to do jewelry. One day I’ll be at your level but even then, you’ll still have many more years on me. lol!!
Thank you, send you a hug from Peru.
@@ElierOlivos Oh! Man, Peru I love that country. An I not just saying that but the land over there an the animal life I have a mata mata turtle I want to return home. He was wild caught they said, so I spent 400 dollar on him with that purpose.

Absolutely stunning!! Now I understand why Tennis Bracelet's cost so much. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Thanks to You Shanda.
For real , I’ll never complain anymore for their price
Wow

Beautiful! Thank you for posting!
This came up on my recommended, started watching and thought I'd click off it.. But couldn't stop watching it... Amazing how modern technology can help with making of such beautiful pieces of jewelry.. I wouldn't even begin to imagine how something like this would have been made "back in the day" before technology helped out... You, my friend are an amazing artist and your pieces of work are masterpieces.
Back in the day it wouldn't have been all that different, except instead of printing it you carve each link out of wax individually. I'd say an experienced wax carver could have that done in a day or two.
Thank you very much for watching the video.
@@insederec Hello, Technology has advanced a lot and Jewelry is no stranger to these advances, 3D Printing gives you the ease performing repetitive and complicated tasks that by hand would be: very expensive or exhausting. Thank you very much for your support.

Mr Olivos, thank you for this wonderful video. After you melt out the wax, is the investment holding the rubies in place? This is amazing to me. Is the 3D file available for purchase?
Thank you for the video

Hermoso trabajo❤❤
Gracias Selene.
beautiful jewel.
Thank you.
The flow is so clean its ridiculous.. I've never seen a burnout done without a kiln before + the steel tipped syringe in place of a little smith torch is awesome. Mind blown 🤯 I was under the impression that castable resin required a much longer burn cycle. Wondering which type of plaster investment do you work with and is it also good for regular waxes?
Thanks a Million for this video
Thank you very much for your support dear Stephen. The plaster Investment is :
PRESTIGE GOLD
Advanced refractory ceramic for Casting
and it does work for casting with wax pieces as well.
