I just sold my truck to Carvana. I choose the option to have a printed check. One thing about the check that a lot of people on UA-cam don’t mention is the fact that you ONLY can deposit the check, you cannot cash it. Take it too Walmart, mobile deposit etc. you only can deposit at a branch with a teller. So before you sell your car, make sure you understand how the payments work. Not sure on the ach payment, their website said it could take 2-5 days. Like it’s 2024, why the fuck we still gotta wait days for a check smfh.

If you do direct deposit will they start the transfer of money on the spot or do they have to go back to the office first

Can you stop the sale at the inspection pick up time if they don’t give you the amount they initially offer? There’s no commitment to sell until signing all documents correct?

You can stop all the way up until you sign everything on their tablet computer

Our experience with Carvana was terrible. The delivery time was from 11am-2pm EST. 2pm passes, but we get no call, no notification, nothing. We call to follow up, and were told to wait another hour or so. Carvana would not give us a valid ETA on the late delivery. Calling this unprofessional and a lack of customer focus is an understatement. We would not recommend buying or selling a car from Carvana.
