YES! I am a Ninja Foodi addict and I’m trying to decide if I’m going to buy this. Who am I kidding? Of COURSE I am! But I’ve been waiting on some demos. Looking forward to whatever you cook - as always! Thank you!
Got this yesterday and I cooked in it last night and it was potatoe wedges and chicken . It came out great . when I found this I was looking for an air fryer in target and then I saw this and I said okay amazon and it is awesome . Love the way it cleans up too .
i just received this amazing airfryer this week, like you John i love my smart lid Ninja, but this one is a gamechanger too. it cooks fast, easy cleanup , many functions , i love it. Can't wait to see what you cook, your videos are always fantastic!
As always, great unboxing video, John! It really looks like a great new appliance. I see you now have 82k subscribers- Congrats- looking forward to seeing you get to that 100k mark, which will will get you that UA-cam “Play Button” Recognition Award that you can hang in your downstairs kitchen and in view when filming your videos. It’s a great achievement! Again, Congrats, you’ll hit that target in no time! Can’t wait to see your recipe ideas for the SPEEDI. That thing really lives up to its name. It literally FLEW out of Ninja’s warehouses- Ninja is OUT OF STOCK ALREADY!
I saw they were out of stock last night... it has been good so far but hoping to have some recipes tested soon... thanks Dave...and thanks for watching!!
Hello, John. You may be the first UA-camr showing the unboxing of the new Speedi. In my point of view, the Speedi is basically a Ninja Foodi Smart Lid 6.5 qt minus the pressure cooking mode. Thanks again for your thorough informative videos.
I have the SmartLid too and I’m reluctant to buy this. I love the SteamCrisp and SteamBake feature on the SmartLid. I just ordered the Ninja PossibleCooker PRO so I need to slow it down.
@@shirleystevens5380 I agree with you. Don't see the need for this one if you have the Smart Lid which right now costs less (at least the 6.5 qts model) than this unit.
Hi Cynthia. Have you discovered the difference between speedi mode and steam/crisp? I’m intrigued by the Speedi, but thinking about space and going for the pressure cooker with smart lid. It has steam/crisp mode. I’m thinking anything done in the speedi could also be done in the smart lid. But that is based on an assumption that speedi mode isn’t all that different than stream/crisp. Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing this exciting unboxing. Not sure how I feel about the yellow box, kinda makes the product seem cheap, I would think grey and silver would be better/classier, but maybe their marketeers know better. Wish the inside packaging was not Styrofoam, a recyclable fiber would have been nice. Pretty big footprint, but the square footprint is cool. Looking to see you test the web meal thing and how ti works. Looking forward to you test video! Keep up the great work!
mine came yesterday and I did a burger it was delicious and fast, used the air fryer selection to cook it. Just too hot to cook tonight but I have some ideas for tomorrow
I can’t wait to see it in person. Hope you make some chicken dishes for us to see. Btw …. I remember you installing shelves in your garage? to house all of your many cooking appliances. Any chance you can show us how it turned out? You must have a gazillion appliances by now!😀
Ohhhhhh Boy!! How cool. How much does it weigh Jelly? I can hardly wait until you do a cook video with it. I’ll try to resist but not going to fight the urge to hard. 😁
Ninja Makes great 👍 steaks 🥩 still love my original Ninja Foodi 61/2 qt. It hasn’t missed a lick. So don’t be afraid of getting their products. I can say they really last.
Thank You for your helpful videos you did help me decide to get the one I use know. Thank You and I love it so much, I did have to get 2 more pressure cooker’s one 4Qt, and an 8 qt and I even got The Boss because it does a great job on More delicate fish where you can watch it cook and see when to take it out and I can make vegetables underneath the fish like salmon and it can drip the flavoring so I put on the salmon right onto the squash or something like that actually that boss is great because it’s infrared it’s like a salamander in a restaurant and it really does a fantastic job and you can see because it’s glass. So that’s a unit that great and easy to clean. I think it’s been kind of overlooked. But it’s wonder tool in the kitchen. I use pressure cookers like I used to use pots on the stove I can sauté anything I can browned anything then I can put the pressure cooker lid on to cook it a whole lot faster with a whole lot more flavor than any pot on the stove.
Just added the Brevel 16 cups sous chef Pro food processor that peals potatoes and beets and garlic 🧄 to my kitchen tools it’ll get here on Tuesday I’m excited about that
@@JohnSanders John, how do you avoid the crystals/ice. I've tried adjusting my refrigerator freezer (have a Samsung flex with the computer tablet on the upper right flex door). My upright freezers have mainly meat in them and I like to keep the temp down in them..
I honestly never understood why they were there... but I thought maybe for safety reasons but I've never saw a toaster Oven with one... but it is a different animal...
John you mentioned that you have a video where you added magnets to hold the condensation cup in for the Ninja Smart Lid pressure cooker. I’ve been trying to find that video unsuccessfully. Could you tell me which video it is? Thanks. My Speedi is on the way whenever it decides to show up. It originally said yesterday but has now changed to pending status.
I must be missing something but other than the design, what are the differences of the cooking functions between this new Speedi and the Smart lid version? The smart lid here in the uk has steam + air fry/bake combi functions. The only difference is the uk Smart lid version doesn’t have souse vide although the US version does. The Speedi looks nice but what is actually new or different other than design?
I'll probably pass... Steam and Air Fry. A good idea if you're still stuck in the older technology but I'm trying to replace all those single purpose units. I know you have a stable of Ninja in that storeroom you built, but I'm in a downsized situation that limits my acquisitions. I'll be interested in watching your recipes. It looks like the steam/crisp and steam bake are the same on the Smart Lid unit.
👨🍳 John you are "the man" when it comes to Ninja products. Thanks for keeping us up- to-date.
You are welcome thank you for watching

I love how you give all the info on these new gadgets. Especially helpful is the dimensions.

If you had to choose between the 2, which would you suggest?
No matter what it is - I catch myself smiling and so happy I watched! Now how can I find room for another ninja gadget!

Thank you for the video. I am looking forward to your future videos on this Ninja. I think I will need to add this one to my Ninja family.

John your the ninja KING
Thank you!!
Bought 2 Ninja pressure cookers, grill and the XL oven (based on your reviews). Pressure cooker do have the steam function. XL oven is the king!
Thanks for trusting my reviews... and thank you for watching them!!!
It is going to go on sale at Costco on March 17th, and I am going to buy one :) Thanks for the video.
Love the new one size but John the old one does steam too ; and the mix steam and bake ect , new doesn't have pressure cooking option
John your the BOMB!! I got mine and this helps a lot!!
Good to hear!!! Thanks for watching
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict there will be a version of this with a temperature probe soon.
They always do that crap! lol
I am not sure I would buy it unless it was cheap because this one is so easy to check with instant read... but it might be good for some...
Ours comes on Tuesday, my wife is so excited to use it ☺️

It looks like if ikea made their own version of an air fryer (kinda cheap plastic)

Neat device. What are the dimensions/diameter of the crisper tray?
Holy Crap... I bet you have at least 200+ cookers in a warehouse somewhere! LOL
You ain't off too bad...lol...
Can you give me a measurement after opening ? I'm afraid about the space ....
Surprising, it's only $199.99 on their website. Do I really need another Ninja appliance? Hmm...,
Lol... one can never have too many!!!
I would like to see some ice cream recipes for the ninja creamier
I've been stuck on the 7 pint recipe of mine for awhile but I might try some new ones before long.
Do you have a video on it

How tall is this cooker with the lid open?
20 inches
What is the difference between the speedi meal and steam and crisp function ?
I'm not sure on that answer just yet... maybe in a day or two...
Square and oval best!.
release date in USA is Aug 16 2022
