I feel more okay with it? It feels more uplifting. Letting go of Makoto and defeating the monster of regret that took on his form feels more uplifting. A painful step closer to closure and moving forward.

Honestly this is better because it symbolizes his peaceful death the old animation made him look like he was tormented

in this particular case, Shadow Makoto is an amalgamation of the entire party's regrets over the MC's death in the base game. The final boss took advantage of it to create an entity to stop the party

@@BadWolfPlayer they used this same theme in the original fight too so unless you're referring to the reload version of the theme itself
@Riftdancer527 nah im trying to say they should've made a new track for this fight, the answer came free with fes so it's not like we paid extra for a asset flip, but this time around we need to buy the $90 game plus $40 dlc, the changing of the title to episode aigis really means nothing
