LOL in the original there was a blooper where Akihiko spoke in Mitsuru’s voice it was toward the end then they went to check on Aigis in the lab does anyone remember that? 😂
My overall take on the Reload’s take on the Answer is that both this and FES The Answer have their strengths and weaknesses. But I truly love how they handle Metis in this game. Metis is a lot more adorable with her new dialogues in this game. It helps differentiate her from Aigis (which makes sense because Metis is Aigis’s shadow). A lot of people who saw this stream clearly don’t understand that The Answer was meant to be the foreshadowing to how the Persona series was going to be handled going forward.
Seeing the ending gives more context of the future generations/factions struggles. Even though the mass shadow/cognition distortions took place within specific domains tied to a specific place/location in each mainlines, they are still interconnected narrative wise. In a sense, the right choices/efforts of each faction ensure that each other struggles won't go in vain.
Okay I just thought of this after realizing they were doing this to also start April 1st. What if this WHOLE ideal was Makoto's way of giving his final April Fools? XD
i actually like that they actually show various reasons of why people would wish deep in their hearts that the wourld would end. to many people around the world, the fact that soul-crushing events happen on the regular, or the acts of seeing disasters and atrocities unfold before your eyes which are completely out of your control (or even the fact that you could merely witness and think about them), and you don't have to ask yourself how such a monster could be formed. even though, i still have the headcannon that it was the kirijo experiment that caused erebus to actually materialize, since nyx is allegedly older than mankind, and the same feelings that manifested erebus also existed long before the dark hour.
I'm pretty sure you're inccorect on erebus's manifestation as the experiment merely caused nyx's arrival to speed up erebus only begins forming during the fall and is basically everyone's shadow it was locked deep within the collective unconcious since the ebgining of humanity and is surpressed by the positive aspirations and beleifs of humanity that make up the great will thus stopping its full manifestation, but when the fal is triggered the great will is unable to keep these wishes from manifesting and thus as people begin turning into shadows erebus manifests.
I hope they'll revisit this plot point at some point. I want a definitive ending to the P3 saga. I don't necessarily want Makoto to resurrect, I just want him to no longer have the burden of the Seal, I want him to rest in peace.
peak would be the sees team being affected by maruki’s cognition. a story where all of them have healed and moved on, but because maruki’s reality is “perfect” it brings back makoto. undoing the seal. his resurrection would throw a wrench into all of their lives, ripping open all those old feelings of grief. all knowing that something isn’t right, even though he acts the same. idk where the ending could go, but 3rd semester had to have done something to sees.
Actually……..i would like for him to return as the new embodiment of power in persona 6, given the events in royal it could be implied that he appeared for a brief moment since the will of man no longer gravitated towards nyx this in turn could cause him to re appear in the velvet room and hired by Igor to guide the future p6 protagonist through their journey. I feel like that would be the best outcome for him instead of simply resting in peace and to simply fade away.
Weird that only when watching the Erebus fight, I'd fantasize the dramatic final stand-off which every party members join the fight, not just 4 of them fight for it while the others are slacking off.
such an amazing series that people love to death and also a series that has done so much for so many people around the world and people still review bomb it because they don't want to pay, but you do you guys, Thanks Atlus
They made Erebus alot more terrifying in this version. I love that they look more bulky and melty. But I do still enjoy the original skinny yet haunting figure
I believe they may have implied the existence of the Snow Queen Quest The "someone else" when talking about why nyx couldn't be reached by erebus, I believe the Snow Queen Quest truly is canon and the ending of that quest weakened Nyx enough that she couldn't fully call out to Nyx, I speculate that's the reason they were given the time they had before the fall truly began.
Oh yeah, that does make sense. The entire event of the Snow Queen route within Persona 1 leads to NYC being weaken enough to not immediately end the world once all the 12 full moon shadows are defeated.
The fruit of human's will for self-destruction... I'd be worried if it didn't look creepy. Every time someone felt the world would be better off if they died, every time someone doesn't want to carry on after losing everything... These feelings makes Erebus stronger. Bigger. Creepy. Altus really knows how to sell a monster design, don't they?

Reviving him won't do anyone justice. It would just make whole story pointless. Both original Answer and episode Aegis main message is to "let go and cherish what little time alive we have". Plus, since this is a remake of old game, it's basically a prequel to P4U/U2 and if they revived MC here, the Elizabeth story part from fighting games would make no sense, which would make either the remake or the fighting games non-canon, and both options are bad for "Fatlus".
Reviving Makoto would go against the themes of Persona 3 which is all about death, acceptance of it, and that it is inevitable but you should make the most of life while you have it!
