I used to be a PT but left the profession after 5 years. In my opinion, it is one of the weakest doctorate degrees in education as salaries are not compensatory to the number of years spent in education. I matriculated to Med School and I have been happy with the move.

I quit PT and went to medical school. It was the best decision of my life. Salaries in the PT profession are really weak when compared to other Doctorate degrees.
Nearly ever MD DO I know has encouraged me to stay away from medicine. High rates of divorce, high depression, and a physician suicide problem thats currently being swept under the rug. Not all money is meant to be had, nor worth your sanity.

Thats how it is every except basketball. You're going to have to figure out a way to get over it. See a therapist that will understand you. And build the village around you.
