Saw him a few month ago in Birmingham. At 80 he sounded exactly the same! ( And perhaps now,he is actually more relevant to those who like modern music than he was in 1970) His recent performance was astonishingly good and not to be missed. A real super star

Gosh I remember being 5 years old, watching him on tv and he was, I thought, so cute, but he embarrassed me! This must've been right before The Patridge Family because once I laid eyes on David Cassidy that was it, no looking back, except now of course and I'm an adult and have so much respect for Tom Jones and in fact he's even more attractive now (to me) than then. Well, David Cassidy, yeah..I can see why there was no turning back for you! BTW, I met him once. He came shopping after hours at a store I worked at in Pittsburgh. They closed the doors so he could have the store to himself. You'll be happy to know he was the sweetest gentleman with all of us sales ladies and as gorgeous as I bet you always imagined him to be.

It has come to my notice that some of my fans thinks I was the person who died. Late jones was The one who conceived the twist on Romeo and Juliet with composer John Donald Robb. He died 11th August, of cancer in his home in Sharon.
