Of the numerous trips and videos I've made with Ryotaro, I think this is probably my favourite. We were lucky to travel across a very beautiful region and see and do so much, and in terms of filming and editing it, I tried to take us one step closer to being a poorly quality TV channel, as opposed to an edited vlog. (Although unfortunately no drones this time and I know you love your drones). One of the best things about filming and travelling is you get to learn so much every time you pull out the camera, given the practical nature of it all - there's something exciting about constantly looking for new angles and perspectives on things that people cover all the time. BUT anyway enough of me pretending to sound profound, as if I'm more than just a UA-cam vlogger person! Enjoy the video guys.
Chris - you do more for promoting rural Japan in one video than most organisations do in a year, or ten! Love seeing all the lesser-known places you guys discover... every video I come away wanting to visit EVERYWHERE you've been! Please don't ever stop (^^)/

Ryotaro saying "it's a UK size innit" Was amazing 😂
I love that you do videos of the snowy side of japan. I feel that others make one video to let viewers know that snow occurs in japan, and your videos are always so informative and entertaining.
I can't stop watching these videos, been at it since 7am it's now 4pm. Best day off work.
The staircase to the top of the Statue of Liberty has the same double spiral design. You climb to the top, take in the view from inside the crown, and climb down, and the two ways never cross.
I'm pretty confident a waterfall can be stolen, only if Nicholas Cage is doing it haha.
Second blockbuster to make, Chris..."My father was a fish". Indie drama

Gotta love it when you find artifacts from entirely different culture in another country. Especially when it was given and not taken.
"My mother is a fish" - Vardaman, 1930
"My father was a fish, I seem to be a ramen" - Ryotaro, 2018
Chris, Risataro gave a talk for TEDx. The tub vid is "Learning outside Japan, telling Tohoku to the world | Ryotaro Sakurai | TEDxTohokuUniversity". But no english subtitles yet countless requests. Okay, not countless. But at least six.
Could you or Risataro give them a hand to do english subs? It looks fascinating as he talks about his time living overseas. Would also be interesting to hear him outside his natural habitat - you giving him crap. Keep up the great work.
Had seen Chris' talk, but not Mr. Ryotaro's. Thanks for the heads up :)
so many uploads aww yes
I love you two together! Brothers from another Mother!
I liked this video just because of the opening discourse between Chris and Ryotaro.
