He knows what not to play. He leaves spaces and openings for the listener's mind to fill in. His tone just satisfies. The rock and roll sun sets on Keith Richards. Nobody else is in his realm.

For some reason Keith always seems to play with more, well, _balls_ whenever he's performing with the Winos. It's as if he resurrects his 1972 sound and it's pretty glorious indeed.
He is one of the most respected people in the world. People all over the world should know from his smile and every wrinkle in his face what matters most.
Keith is quoted that his job is to make Mick Jagger look good. I have long been of the belief that Mick needs Keith more than Keith needs Mick. His solo albums are brilliant, definitely something Mick can't claim.
I prefer Keith singing... but can't deny that Mick can sing better in a conventional sense and that he is a better frontman between the two!... but the tunes... rhythm ...and that stones sheen on the records... thats coming from Keith's fingers! IMO though Mick Taylor was their best guitarist and Charlie Watts is the unreplaceable beat.... the cool is coming through all the veto powers Keith has had in the Stones!! I just wish the Winos had recorded more albums!!
Keith has evolved from a rather scary junkie you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley into a likable eccentric hippie grampa. He isn't polished like Jagger but that makes him more genuine and relatable. We are glad you cleaned up your act and are still with us.
I saw them in 88 and 93, during what seemed like a period in which the Stones might break up at any time. Keith was 50 the second time, in Boston. I miss Sarah Dash (LaBelle) and Babi Floyd, and of course Bobby Keys, wow 😲...And Charlie is an 😇 angel taking it all in guarding the Rolling Stones from above.
I saw Keith on TV recently on a Sunday morning show. He has quit cigarettes for about 2 years now and says his wind is much better now, he and Mick are writing together again, he said Charlie would want them to continue. When asked, any plans to retire? None, he said something like, I’ll have to be surprised to end it all. I wish Mick Taylor could rejoin the band. It sounds like he plans to never retire.
I’ve been listening to this man for almost 60 years and it’s really hard for me to articulate his impact on my generation’s lives - he’s the epitome of cool, but more importantly he can say more in fewer notes than any guitarist in R&R history. Rock on Mr. RiffHard!
Whenever Keef performs, it is pure magic! He can make any guitar sing! I saw the No Filter tour in Minnesota and I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. He's the man!!!

If I ever get to see the man live. I’ll be happy forever. Around a year and a half ago I discovered Keith and the stones, and I don’t wanna say it saved my life cause I feel like that’s romanticizing it a bit, but I found a new passion for the guitar and gained direction In life. You got the silver is the first stones song I listened to after finding talk is cheap for the first time. It did not go downhill from there.
It gave me such joy watching this last night, I've never seen The Stones, the last time I saw them live was when I was a kid seeing them do "Time is on my Side" on the Ed Sullivan Show, in 1964.
I am impressed!! Great performance. After Keith said "Good evening ladies and gentlemen" it looks like he is about to leave the stage, then somebody hands him a guitar... I think it looks very funny!
Damn! That is the most smokin' version of before they make me run I've heard in a long time. Keith only plays about 1/2 of the chords but it sounds great. He plays the lead too.....just awesome. These guys seem to light a fire under Keef
El gran Keith, imposible mantenerse sentado oyendo esos 'riffs' que solo Keith sabe hacer. Para que las nuevas generaciones se den cuenta que el Rock and Roll está para quedarse.🎸🎸💯👏❤️🎸
Couldn’t agree more. Steve sounds so much better playing these songs the way he wants to rather than trying to be more like Charlie. Really makes a difference in my opinion
@@mattkane5329 Right. I`m amazed at how much more alert and up he looks and sounds compared to the tour clips over the last few months. Very nice surprise, great musicians.

@@itchcock1 I didn’t see the Stones last year, but everyone was saying that Keith seemed invigorated playing with Steve. That’s not a knock on Charlie, but Steve was playing uptempo and really making the rest of the band work their asses off, and it resulted in some great shows.
