They had all the money in the world great Healthcare luxurious mansions that's why all the old Rockers are still living while the punk rockers most of them have left us. Punk rock you have to get your drugs on the street you are out on the street you are in Old buildings squatting. Like I said you had to buy your drugs and everything on the streets. Keith Richards got his fedexed anywhere he was he hired people just to get him what he needed. When punk rock hit that was on the some girls tour Mick Jagger War torn t-shirt and sang shattered. I'm with you the stones were the best rock and roll band. But opposite of punk. I can go on but I've rambled on long enough. Long live the Rolling Stones. Rest in peace Joe Strummer all the Ramones Lou Reed David Bowie rest in peace Johnny Thunders pretty much all the New York Dolls. Rolling Stones are rock and roll and that roll makes all the difference. There was no role in punk rock.

The tightest sloppy sounding band I've ever heard! Incredible musicianship, fantastic groove and soul with, just enough lazy to make it really swing. Pure brilliance in their prime, all of them.

This was a killer warm up for Steel Wheels. Keith’s live playing from this era is some of his best.
@Monsieur Tarzan for sure but this album and shows seasoned him for the Steel Wheels Tour. He had amazing tone live during that run.
I was in attendance @ this gig, then saw the second night @ the LA Collisium “Steel Wheels” show, Guns n Moses second billing Living Color third, ... the latter two, didn’t have a fighting chance 😎🎸🥳

What a gig.I saw them at the Oakland Auditorium couple days before or after. General admission the first time being in the front row for Keith..his rhythm is the thing that really jumps out when he’s playing solo. He and Steve mark their territory and the rest of the Winos fall into space..Sara Dash was the real stand out..

The coolest rock star to ever live! And you get a sense he’s always got a switchblade on him and ain’t afraid to use it. The Stones footage of him conking the guy with his telecaster and then going right back to playing is badass. Legend
