As a proud owner of this phone I recommend this phone 100 percent. The battery lasts all day and it takes only 1 hour to charge because of the 40W charger. This is the best phone I've ever owned. I was gonna buy an iPhone 6s plus but in my opinion the p20 pro is WAYY better

Please explain Iso102400 and 6sec of handheld exposure. My dslr can't go above 25600 iso and even at iso 25600 looks more like a evidence photograph at best. I'm thinking how images going to look at iso 102400 from a sensor which is only about 10% of size of Aps-c dslr.
The high ISO only is enabled after an OTA update from Huawei as I saw on their website. You won't want to shoot that high very often anyway especially on a smartphone.

Why huawei phone do that is because of the AI or software.They invest alot and having better algorithm to remove noise compare to the dslr maker. The traditional dslr maker is very good in hardware, but software wise...nah..
I am still a little bit confused with this 40mp camera. When you shoot in auto mod you are using RGB and B&W sensor,and output is 10mp with planty of informations and quality. So my question is when we use full 40 mp does it also combine it with B&W sensor,and when we shoot in manual and RAW what does it use then?

It's not pointless. Monochrome camera isn't only used for black and white photos. It also works together with the main sensor to produce more colorful detailed photos, thanks to monochrome sensor's ability to capture more light.

IP 67 + camera, which is better than human eye and phone with great battery. What do you want more? IP 68? Me mb too, but in practice there is no difference and I dont belive, that Mate 11 will be with IP 68. Mb never procesor, but it is really necessary? With kirin 670 you can play every game what you want. So what more? No...I dont want wait again long time for something, because I dont belive that it will be big jump in camera technology again like this phone :-)

I understand, but I think that fingerprint scanner on the front is nothing that terrible :-) And you can use it to control your phone, if you will learn gestures :-) I'm very much looking forward to that phone! :-)

The pixel size of the 40 mp senzor is 1 micron, but when it oversamples them to 10 mp the size is 2 microns

It will shoot 40MP. The RGB sensor is what you will primarily need for RAW photos.
They should have chosen a middle path between resolution and sensor size like a 20mp 1/1.7inch BSI sensor would be a stunner

It's not pointless. Monochrome camera isn't only used for black and white photos. It also works together with the main sensor to produce more colorful detailed photos, thanks to monochrome sensor's ability to capture more light.
