This video has been a very long time in the making. There are a lot of new things I've tried in term of effects and camera work, so be sure to stick around till the end and let me know what you think 👊
My Phone already has "AI", and it's 2 years old, AND minus, TG, an atrocious NOTCH !!! I have high hopes of aquiring a Pixel 3XL, and will be devastated if it launches with a "N" ! 😠 Sincerely, JL ^_^
Ed S : My Nexus 6P.... Didn't have AI at that time, 2015, but has been updated to Oreo 8.1.0. and has it now :-) That's Google for ya !!!! 🤗 Sincerely, JL (^^)
Genuinely feel like a lot of the criticism Huawei gets comes from a slight snobbishness, slight fear of the unknown and also people not wanting to admit that their top of the line Samsung/google/apple phone could be matched by a lesser known/less fashionable make. I’ve always used HTC and Samsung and have recently switched to the P20 pro and I wish I’d switched sooner. The battery in particular blows everything else out of the water and I’m no longer having to carry a charger between work and home in case my phone dies before the end of the day. Would encourage anyone to make the switch and experience it for yourself. Don’t pay too much attention to some of the criticism here. The issue about the phone coming pre-loaded with proprietary apps? Samsung do the same thing, as do Apple. The phone wobbles due to lens placement? My old GS6 Edge+ wobbles too. The phone’s stock settings aren’t finely tuned for optimal performance? Doesn’t that happen with pretty much every piece of tech you buy nowadays?
I started my Huawei experience with the P8 light and have never looked back. I found alot of these criticisms petty. Compared to my daighters iphones it win's hands down. I agree with your statement about the snobbery. This stems from the fact that Huawei brought out their original phones at a very affordable price and I have had people stick their noses at up them because of that. I LOVE my P20 pro and will probably never go back to any other make.
Yep it's a chinese state owned company trying to break into the western market after all... there's gonna be strong headwind for them. They straight out do not sell in the US because of government negativity there. If this is the actual Essential phone people would be hyping the shit out of it already lol
Exactly. I've been a Galaxy user since S2 and had every one up to S9 (as I have right now) and Samsung have got lazy. I feel we're just ripped off year after year as there's not much in improvements between them. Matter of fact, i wish i stuck with S8 over S9. I also had a Huawei Mate 10 Pro and it was fucking incredible. Huawei i can see taking over because they'll bust their balls to prove their worth. Samsung and Apple are riding on reputation so they are leaning towards laziness.
HolyWhisp The problem with P20 Pro is that its durability. It breaks easly and you better hope you never drop it or even bend it. Just look for a durability test on it on youtube. It is worse than almost all other phones when it comes to durability.
Yeah, I preferred that too. Which is why I got Huawei Mate 10 instead of Pro. When the phone is lying on the table, I can unlock it fast without needing to pick it up.
Please name one or two use scenarios where you get frustrated because the phone wobbles laying flat on a table. I have a hard time believing this being a real concern... Enlighten me, please!
Jeez, the whole standard thing is getting out of hand. Just a couple of years ago a fingerprint scanner on the front was totally okey and now people are bashing it like never before just because "the other phones have it on the back" (read the last part with a whining childs voice). So moving the finger an inch or two is today considered too much. Having three cameras isn't enough, you need to be able to shoot a short film on them now at 4K, which let's be honest, the majority never even use. And speakers need to sound like you're in a concert or else they are worthless. Also, the phone has to have a processor that can't even use its full potential, but people just need to know its in there. And let us not even start on the RAM. If a phone needs more than 4 gigs of RAM to run smoothly, the fault falls on the software and its optimization. But then again, the price is crazy.
Sadly the comments about the Kirin being 'a chip that falls way behind current generation' is just not correct...It may not be up there with the very best 845...but it is more than capable of driving a top end smart phone to its potential and certainly not way behind!!!
Exactly! And At least I do not edit my shotos and videos on a smartphone or play crazy 3D games. It is enough for everything you Do in your dayli life.
@@realFlusi To be honest, kirin 970 is highly capable of doing those things you mentioned. I can edit both videos and photos on my Honor 10, I can play Pubg at 60 fps on HDR quality and so on. Even though my phone was bought two years ago, it's really consistent in battery duration nowadays. It looks like a smartphone of 2020. Huawei really knows how to make awesome long-durable phones, that's for sure.
Now here's the thing. Excellent review btw. But honestly even if the Kirin 970 "is outdated" you have to remember that Huawei releases new chips in Q4 of each year. You can't just state "The 845 is the latest generation which makes the 970 old".. Just an example. The 970 is good enough as it is. What you should do is in 2019, come back and see how the Mate 10 holds up in performance. And if it does it proves the AI actually did what was necessary to keep the device running optimally. In my experience, Samsung's devices get extremely chuggy after A year or so. Samsung's Skin is only now really optimized so it should be a better experience (Pun intended).
Thanks for a truly informative honest unbiased review. You covered everything extremely well. You've just reminded me why I love this phone. No plans for a change any time soon. Keep your videos coming, they really do help.
Everyone goes on about 4k yet the average user doesn't have 4k most people still use 1080p. I also have the p20 Pro and I think it's a great phone and I prefer this to the Samsung galaxy s8 I had I find myself never touching 4k on any of the phones I have ever used
SnowHusky Jordan That doesn't mean, nobody does. 4K videos are in fact one of the best things about smartphone videography. Detailed videos taken with something, in your pocket.
Finally, someone honest! I feel that all the other reviews just focus on the camera (which in real world usage i don't believe to be leagues above the competition), so that they can ignore the screen, processor and other aspects of this phone's shortcomings.
Huawei's procesors are far better and faster than the competition. Maybe the UI isn't looking great, (that's subjective) but that's the only shortcoming, really, because it performs, again, far better than Samsung and other heavy skinned versions. Everything else is also subjective, like screen and things.
Note about the 40mp sensor. Keep in mind the sensor size is much bigger, this is the main reason why its better. Also the 40mp sensor is used to merge pixels to create more light, so the actual 40mp sensor is not for taking 40mp pictures mainly but rather to help doing an impressive picture that is 10mp.
I don't think Kirin 970 is that bad. It is really capable and with NPU and 6GB of RAM it beats some phones with SD845 or SD835 or even A11 Bionic. It can defenitly serve you 2-3 years at least
MarkoRajkovic well i have honor 8 which has kirin 950 processor and s7 which has snapdragon 821 i have using both for 2 years and i can definitely say that kirin 950 is holding better than snapdragon 821. s7 is bit slower than expected after 2 years i think this is because huawei manufacture and optimize their own processors
In many benchmarks it beats sd835 and still 835 is standard in many smartphones and there is not much upgrade in 835 to 845 so how is a npu chip weaker than 845?? they both use 10nm
Still strong and perfect daily phone for me, for almost a 3 years from now! Mine is still in mint condition. Battery after exactly 2 years and 9 months of everyday usage with dual sim and mobile data always on, lasts for whole day! Btw Well done and comprehensive review, mrwhosetheboss! 😉
I have read most of the comments and I don't think half of them know what they talking about. Firstly this is their imaging device. The P series concentrates on the camera functions. The sensor size is bigger than all smartphones.. Do you guys know what that means? When you buy an apsc sensor camera vs a full frame, do you know how much extra you need to pay just for the sensor size? The phone also has a dac chip to convert 32bit audio. 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom. If you want the fastest chip then wait for the Mate series. That is their powerhouse series. That's how Huawei functions. I am not a Huawei fan but what they have done is very clever. Controlling most of the functions with their AI chip means limitless possibilities just with a software upgrade. If you want ios ecosystem then Apple is your choice. If you want to play games or heavy processor work then choose s9+ if you want a phone to replace your point and shoot camera then it is Huawei p20 pro. If Huawei gave you the latest chipset with the p20 pro camera will you guys be willing to pay £2000+ for a Huawei phone? Ask your self.
I love those people who rant about how a notch gives you so more screen real estate and rock navigation buttons on their phone which has a physical home button.
I love your videos, I love your cinematography, I love your reviews, and I love your content. I know I may be a little nitpicky, but I think the titles are a little bit clickbait-y. But other than that, this is another great video! :)
Luka M All flagship chips are super fast. But there are quite a few games or intensive apps, which don't run on this as well, because of lack of optimisation.
If Kirin 970 is not a great cpu, I don't know what is.. srsly! Saying it like it's a con is just absurd. Good review, but because of this, and the sad narrative like P20 is doomed from the beginning, is a thumbs down from me
I found the comment that the Kirin is so far behind odd...It is actually a very good chip compared to the compition maybe not the very best but up there and more than capable of driving a top end phone as proven by many reviewers and real world users..
Loving your videos. Just thought this review of the Huawei P20 pro was a bit brutal if I'm being honest with you. The P20 is a beast.Considering the ground that Huawei has made on Apple and Samsung over the past few years. Their phones are getting better and better.
Rushil Rai Cuz they have nothing new every year, their edge is just camera & display ... Otherwise 500$ worth One plus 5T is even a fast & better performer then these two Big names Now H. P20 pro offers far better camera then an iPhone x, & galaxies... Though need to work on display department but frankly speaking im bored from Galaxies & iPhones & want to try this new innovation from Huawei which is looking promising
+W YW all that is BS... The AI has clearly nothing special to add to the phone. The phone is less powerfull than S9 and others. The camera is amazing but S9's is not far from it and in some cases I would say I prefer the vivid colours on the S9's. 4k video is way better on the S9 and the front camera too. The phone as a horrible notch and it doesnt look as cool as the S9. The price is lower but in a lot of countries it isnt. Also s9 as a phobe as much more capability of helping witg tasks that a phone would not usually be abke too but only computers
W YW the most nitpicky guy on you tube, if you ever wanna know a flow on your phone ua-cam.com/video/1g0PZqUG81I/v-deo.html In every comparison I saw htc U11, OP5t and Sony Xperia xz1 beating mate 10 pro in smoothness and optimization forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/help/speed-mate-10-pro-t3706726
How does he come about with that final rating? Man Huawei 2018 is gonna be lit. This and the matebook x pro are definitely gonna be on my list at some stage
I have been watching aruns videos for a long time and all I can say is that your videos are getting absolutely insane, I will never leave watching this heaven of a channel
Majd Madani the phone looks good but it immediately lost in the running for my new phone when I heard that it doesn't have a headphone jack. I love how it looks but I can't buy something that has less features than a $4 flip phone...
Majd Madani Unfortunately most of us can't get girlfriends. So we make out with are phones instead. The oneplus 6 sounds like it's going to be a good phone. I hope you enjoy it.
I got this phone on Friday. I love it. I saved heaps and got free QCII headphones compared to the S9+. The battery is amazing and I love the notch, it's just an extra bit of screen I can have my apps in to me. I check my phone a lot, I don't let them pile up so the reduced space for that area doesn't mean anything (I do wish I could move the Wifi and signal icons to the right though). However, I do think that the next OnePlus and LG phones will be better than this phone (apart from battery and zoom) so as you've missed any pre-order deals, I'd wait for at least one to be announced if you can wait.
Good honest review. However, most reviews I've seen mentioned the wobble when it's on a flat surface because of the camera lens... just put it in a case and it doesn't do it. And besides, why would you even have a phone of this quality not in a case?
I've been following your reviews for a while (to my shame I've only now just subscribed). I was impressed by your breakdown of the Lenovo hype train before the phone came out; but with this review you've cemented yourself as one of my favourite, 'go-to' reviewers. Your style is nice, relaxing - but the best thing is you get down to earth, into the real life nitty gritty and really don't get carried away with biased love for the devices you review. In some ways it kind of reminds me of Lisa from mobile tech review and trust me, that's high praise as she's my favourite reviewer (by quite a margin). Also, great evolution with the visual style here. Keep it up! :D
1200 dollars for Kirin970? No thanks. I prefer Xiaomi Mi Mix2S 8/256 that I preordered. Little bit worse camera but without notch, snapdragon 845, that same premium quality(or even better) and prize 420 dollars less but anyway thank you for the video as always professional and with a lot details.
huawei: we're gonna be the first to put a camera that doesn't suck on a phone also huawei: we're gonna alienate a demographic of practicality enthusiasts by removing the headphone jack because we'd rather follow apple's marketing meme!
it's a good phone I dont like the shimmering colors to girly but this makes me think about dxo Mark's score cause super saf did a camera review and it was not that good but the phone is not for me anyway my note 8 is the best phone does everything can't wait till the note 9 comes out in August
I agree. Whilst I actually like Huawei's alternate release cycle of putting out 2 flagship series' per year, one series where the focus is on the camera technology (P series) and then another series where they implement the new processor (Mate series) and although I love Huawei phones, the Kirin 970 is HiSilicon's/Huawei's current gen flagship chip... With some disgustingly outdated features equivalent to that of the SD 821; BT 4.2 and 4k @ 30fps for instance. Most phones with the Kirin 970 chipset are company flagships, but just not 'flagships' according to the set of features. Just like a phone with an SD 821 wouldn't be considered a flagship today, neither really should any phone with a Kirin 970. Really hope the Kirin 980 at the end of the year, for the first time for Huawei, manages to implement the latest standards.
Sabeeh Saqib Better in what way? Huawei, with the NPU, seem to have created a solution to a problem that wasn't even a problem to begin with. The SD 835 and the equivalent Bionic and Exynos chips are capable of the same thing, they just don't have a dedicated gimmick for it like Huawei does. The SD 845 for instance, is capable of local AI and machine learning just like the Kirin 970, it just does it on the DSP instead of a dedicated chip.
Anti Duck Huawei's Machine Learning Algorithm doesn't let the phone Slow down while other Android phones slow down after a year of use. And you can't really use much of the power of The Snapdragon 845 as most tasks rely on Single Core Performance including gaming. The phone not slowing down, on the other hand, is something that will improve User Experience a lot
I'm watching this video in 2024 on the p20 pro. Your videos nowadays have come a long way. It is funny to see how much you and your reviews have improved. The p20 pro was my favorite brand after switching from a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone. I definitely would have stayed with Huawei if the US - Sanction wasn't there.
The 40MP sensor benefits 10MP by using a type of "supersampling" combining 4 pixels into one to reduce noise and make overall better pictures. How come so many people fail to realize this and keep saying there is no good reason for the 40MP and you will find yourself using the 10MP mode instead. Yes, you will use 10MP mode instead as the main reason for 40MP is the supersampling....
iam currently owning an S6. what really borthers me with the p20 and even the s7,8 and 9 is the default aspect ratio of the photos. my s6 has its max MP resolution in 16:9. the p20 and the other galaxys are 4:3. if you wanna use a full screen aspect ratio with the p20 you have to go down on the resolution to 7mp in order to shoot widescreen photos. there might be a reason for that and i bet, some experts can give me 10 reasons why 4:3 is better but the only thing i see in 4:3 is less wide angle, thus a smaller picture
Rasmus Vainio honestly think that's the better version (design wise). Same with the P10 range...the lite was the only one with the sensible rear sensor. If only they used the button area for screen instead of stupid ADVERTISING!
More interested in P20 lite. Rear fingerprint scanner and headphone jack. As long as the camera is good. Doesn't need to be amazing. I have real cameras for that. Olead screens on all P20s would have been better not just the pro.
I bought my Huawei P20 Pro in mid-June 2018. As I had an existing deal from a carrier, I bought the phone outright and just added the SIM card. My Huawei P20 Pro cost £665 from Three. Overall I am very happy with the camera (although the lack of image stabilisation for 4K video is a problem). The screen is good and the battery life is amazing. A 4000 m/Amp/Hour battery is great.
My P20 Pro is still going strong and enjoy using it daily. Can I still continue using as no longer get security updates from Huawei (Nov 20) although they did upgrade to Android 10 which rocks and now get the monthly Google play security updates...so ok to keep using?
I'd rather pay less for smartphone that is the best than to pay more for smarthphone whose price is 30% logo/name.. that's not being poor, that's being smart ;)
George Whiton i don't what? And you dude... Stock android? Shitty features? Dude... You have Lagsung and you trash talk other phones that run on android about their features? Once, when Samsung offeres something that it is worth the money they are asking for it, then we can talk... In the meantime, I will enjoy my NPU, my camera's photo abilities AND features, my 2 day battery life, my NOT lagging phone... And if I decide to upgrade to P20, I will also enjoy my triple back camera ;) (no time to gloat about every spec that is better)
Thats because 90% vids out there about Huawei P20 are just bragging about how great their Camera quality is, but not looking at their shortcomings like their screen, processor and other aspects of the phone compared to it's competitor's like the S9 iPhone X or Pixel 2.
Honest review but too short in order to stress enough the advantages of the p20 over the other flagships. As for the conclusions i dont agree with them. Kirin is a very powerful chip that flies through every day tasks. Huawei focused on nighttime photography because that was the only part that seperated phones from dslrs. Daytime photography wise, even my old iphone 5c takes great photos. P20 paved the way and the other competitors try to catch up. Thats the epilogue to your review.
ShankhodeepC You, I still am very happy with my Mate 10 Pro, not many details differ that much. Mate 10 Pro will get upgraded s/w as well so I'll stick to it this year and wait for next Huawei 2019
This video has been a very long time in the making. There are a lot of new things I've tried in term of effects and camera work, so be sure to stick around till the end and let me know what you think 👊

Love your videos.

Ohh, girl, that twilight is the most beautiful colour/combinations of colours i've seen on a smartphone EVER, like literally.
"4k is the current standard" am I the only one who left behind?
I agree.. 1080p is perfectly fine. 4k just eats your storage.
DreadedReaver even 720p is Sharp enough
Octo as long as it's atleast 60fps yep.
no bro.
Network speeds haven't caught up in most countries :(

Great and insightful review! I actually prefer the front fingerprint scanner but that's just a personal preference.
TechLineHD me too
TechLineHD when is ur review coming?
I prefer the way the mi 6 and one plus 5 do there fingerprint it's nice and deep and part of the glass and not as low down

So true .....
i’ve never seen such a correct yet cruel roast
you probably deserve a place in r/MurderedByWords
Genuinely interested as to who out there "edits videos professionally" on their smartphone?
No one
Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is better but the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 only! Not the Exynos 9810!

reviewers just make shit up though. they don't know what they're talking about. especially about the camera.
Rushil Rai you use a mobile camera to take 4k video? It's always better to get a camera for 4k if you are a creator. Else 1080 p is sufficient.
Great review bro👏
And to the cinematography was great too
Best p20 pro review available. Having had the p20 pro for the last week I agree with all of the things mentioned. Very well done mate!
I have this phone and it's absolutely incredible, blows me away everyday. Seriously, the P20 Pro is something else 😍
Very true even in 2022

Bojan Tomic Yeah that's true but Huawei has spyware to steal your private information like contacts, messgaes and app data
Bojan Tomic No, it's a last gen processor that was still slightly behind the sd 835. The only thing it has above others is the npu.
That video quality!!!!

I don't think Kirin 970 is that bad. It is really capable and with NPU and 6GB of RAM it beats some phones with SD845 or SD835 or even A11 Bionic. It can defenitly serve you 2-3 years at least
MarkoRajkovic nope
MarkoRajkovic well i have honor 8 which has kirin 950 processor and s7 which has snapdragon 821 i have using both for 2 years and i can definitely say that kirin 950 is holding better than snapdragon 821. s7 is bit slower than expected after 2 years i think this is because huawei manufacture and optimize their own processors
sarang kulkarni agree, their optimization is on a all new level
In many benchmarks it beats sd835 and still 835 is standard in many smartphones and there is not much upgrade in 835 to 845 so how is a npu chip weaker than 845?? they both use 10nm
ashutosh john benchmark scores are rigged for flagships bro but i agree they are good in long term
1:07 'Top Notch' low light performance. Pun intended?
noticed that too XD
Those AI part.. 😂

the best review for p20 pro so far. Highlighting the pros and cons and without directly comparing to other competitors. Subscribed!
0:30 anyone else scratched their screen thinking it was a smudge on the screen? 🤣
Afdal H. Me too haha
Yep I stopped the video to check 😂
I love your videos, I love your cinematography, I love your reviews, and I love your content. I know I may be a little nitpicky, but I think the titles are a little bit clickbait-y. But other than that, this is another great video! :)
You speak really crystal clear mate love your voice
if the chip isnt good then try potato chips
Sahil 360gaming I'm using the Huawei mate 10 pro and the chip is mind blowingly amazing! It's super fast and battery is great!
Luka M All flagship chips are super fast. But there are quite a few games or intensive apps, which don't run on this as well, because of lack of optimisation.
Rushil Rai like which apps or games? I have the Mate 10 Pro and I don't have any problems, lags, or poor optimization like you said
Fefo Fefosa same here
No one got the joke? Lame
P20 is a real beast
Nah nah, c'mon, the p20 lite is the god here
Andres Pratdesaba the real shit is the p9 lite
Nokia 3310 original version. 👌

@Erik-Martijn **about**
If Kirin 970 is not a great cpu, I don't know what is.. srsly! Saying it like it's a con is just absurd. Good review, but because of this, and the sad narrative like P20 is doomed from the beginning, is a thumbs down from me
Martin Petrov HALA MADRID!
I found the comment that the Kirin is so far behind odd...It is actually a very good chip compared to the compition maybe not the very best but up there and more than capable of driving a top end phone as proven by many reviewers and real world users..
Agreed.
Lol the 970 is in the level of the Snapdragon
J
That was the honest review.... Ur videos are really so great... Hope u will become no. 1 youtuber
Loving your videos. Just thought this review of the Huawei P20 pro was a bit brutal if I'm being honest with you. The P20 is a beast.Considering the ground that Huawei has made on Apple and Samsung over the past few years. Their phones are getting better and better.
Flossy Carter for the "REAL REVIEW!"
Flossy is King! I love that guy!
This phone won my heart 💋💖
My Next phone soon 😉
Pip Hacker Why not an S9 or iPhone X?
Rushil Rai
Cuz they have nothing new every year, their edge is just camera & display ... Otherwise 500$ worth One plus 5T is even a fast & better performer then these two Big names
Now H. P20 pro offers far better camera then an iPhone x, & galaxies... Though need to work on display department but frankly speaking im bored from Galaxies & iPhones & want to try this new innovation from Huawei which is looking promising
Pip Hacker yes Huawei is best
+W YW all that is BS... The AI has clearly nothing special to add to the phone. The phone is less powerfull than S9 and others. The camera is amazing but S9's is not far from it and in some cases I would say I prefer the vivid colours on the S9's. 4k video is way better on the S9 and the front camera too. The phone as a horrible notch and it doesnt look as cool as the S9. The price is lower but in a lot of countries it isnt.
Also s9 as a phobe as much more capability of helping witg tasks that a phone would not usually be abke too but only computers
Rushil Rai because fuck the hell off
How is Kirin 970 slower than Snapdragon 845? How do you compare them? By benchmark?
Don't make a claim if you don't know.
Benny Loh Kirin 980is coming baby with 7nanometer tech!!!!
It's worse than 835....GPU especially. It lags on mate 10 pro during ordinary scrolling.
Goran Petrovic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣it is probably your life that's stops
W YW the most nitpicky guy on you tube, if you ever wanna know a flow on your phone
ua-cam.com/video/1g0PZqUG81I/v-deo.html
In every comparison I saw htc U11, OP5t and Sony Xperia xz1 beating mate 10 pro in smoothness and optimization
forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/help/speed-mate-10-pro-t3706726
Kirin chips are extremely fast dude..Manu of them are better than corresponding Snapdragon chips
How does he come about with that final rating? Man Huawei 2018 is gonna be lit. This and the matebook x pro are definitely gonna be on my list at some stage
Your best review yet. Some very interesting points about the camera, software and processor. Your style is really maturing Bossman ;)
I love it. I will buy it even though I’ve had apple phones exclusively since 2007.
I have been watching aruns videos for a long time and all I can say is that your videos are getting absolutely insane, I will never leave watching this heaven of a channel
Huawei P20 Pro 💜🙌😘
Krishna Sagar Are you a weirdo why would you kiss your phone smh
Majd Madani the phone looks good but it immediately lost in the running for my new phone when I heard that it doesn't have a headphone jack. I love how it looks but I can't buy something that has less features than a $4 flip phone...
abel vasquez Okay?..….
abel vasquez I'm gonna get OnePlus 6 so it's all good
Majd Madani Unfortunately most of us can't get girlfriends. So we make out with are phones instead. The oneplus 6 sounds like it's going to be a good phone. I hope you enjoy it.
Still using it. Almost 4 years now. Still super smooth nd have good battery life
I got this phone on Friday.
I am just going to wait for google pixel 3 and pixel 3xl
That A.I scene though ! 😂
2:30 lol that's a P20 lite which has a different design.

Good honest review. However, most reviews I've seen mentioned the wobble when it's on a flat surface because of the camera lens... just put it in a case and it doesn't do it. And besides, why would you even have a phone of this quality not in a case?
this is your first video I have seen and I must say its very well done! subbed :D
The Galaxy S9+ Is actually more expensive than the iphone x in my country.
Love my P20 pro so far

The truth why Mrwhosetheboss boss is so awesome
Keep it up! :D
Love your videos bro. Could you please tell me which Android phone you think is the best out atm?
Stop using 'Real Review'. That's Flossy's term. Make your own original one :p Great content as always!

Yeah dude , as much as I like his vids that's Flossys slogan, don't mix things up only floss can do a real real review.
Lots of people say real review. Flossy doesnt own it.
P.S.
If You want the same memory as my Mi Mix2S it costs almost 2000 dollars :D So 2,5 x more :D
Christian Potaczała where did you preorder it?
huawei: we're gonna be the first to put a camera that doesn't suck on a phone
also huawei: we're gonna alienate a demographic of practicality enthusiasts by removing the headphone jack because we'd rather follow apple's marketing meme!
They give you a jack adaptator with the phone, which is nice. They also give you a soft case with it, which is perfect.
Been using it a while now. The battery is hands down the most used feature directly followed by the front facing finger print scanner.
Excellent review. You've easily become my favorite smartphone review source, on UA-cam.
AI is really developing very fast
it's a good phone I dont like the shimmering colors to girly but this makes me think about dxo Mark's score cause super saf did a camera review and it was not that good but the phone is not for me anyway my note 8 is the best phone does everything can't wait till the note 9 comes out in August
Well put
I think its SD 835 equivalent in raw power
But it has even better AI stuff than the SD 845. Every processor has its Pros and Cons
What I'm most curious about is how you got it to stand like that without any kind of a support haha
Great videos, better than normal reviews!! Keep up the awesome work..
dude which music is that the intro and the outro one.
intro is La Fuente - Deep Down Inside
I can't understand how it's dxo mark score is 109
Deepak Singhroha The Photography Department scores seems okay.. But in Video Department something is fishy...
Spotted an Alien in this video at 2:53!
It's there in the sky at the upper middle part of the screen!
The fingerprint scanner can be used as a home button but it has to be long pressed to return to the home screen which is very slow.
Holy shit I've never been this early for anything
🙏
Samsung s9 is still better
Amazing video editing and cinematography
ADIKE im blown away
That moment when Shazam figures out your intro/outro
What is it?
La Fuente - Deep Down Inside
Just bought today the P20 Pr...uhm...Lite :) Can't afford more than that. But the phone still seems great, at least for the price!
Rasmus Vainio does the lite version have a rear finger print sensor?
Quinch Yes it does, no buttons or anything on the front of the phone.
Rasmus Vainio honestly think that's the better version (design wise). Same with the P10 range...the lite was the only one with the sensible rear sensor. If only they used the button area for screen instead of stupid ADVERTISING!
Shame you got worse lookin mate10 lite for 100$ greater price lol
More interested in P20 lite. Rear fingerprint scanner and headphone jack. As long as the camera is good. Doesn't need to be amazing. I have real cameras for that. Olead screens on all P20s would have been better not just the pro.
How do you have the phones always standing up like that?
Btw great cinematography
Dank i was thinking thé same
I just love your videos so much! Awesome work!
6:00 ΓΕΙΑ ΣΟΥ χαχαχαχα
Huawei Is The Best Samart Phone Company
i Love It
I'd rather pay less for smartphone that is the best than to pay more for smarthphone whose price is 30% logo/name.. that's not being poor, that's being smart ;)
George Whiton nope mate, that being smart with handling you money. If i were cheap i would still have LG L7... Or Nokia 3310...
George Whiton yeeeeaaaa... And iPhone is built in Washington DC or it was California? Right next to Samsung...
George Whiton so what? Your point? I have Huawei P9 and Huawei Mate 10 pro...
The real review: he focused more on the negatives. 😂 but great editing and cinematography.
Thats because 90% vids out there about Huawei P20 are just bragging about how great their Camera quality is, but not looking at their shortcomings like their screen, processor and other aspects of the phone compared to it's competitor's like the S9 iPhone X or Pixel 2.
+Thanatos It does? Did you even watch the video? geez.
This video convinced me order one of these today! Thanks for the great review! One day I'll bump into you in the city and thank you for it :P
For overall, which phone is worth it for me to buy? Either S9+ or Huawei P20 Pro ?
Good afternoon...
Best video......

Why you don't pin your comments
I'll stick with my iPod 😂
The video is lit I subscribed
Honest review but too short in order to stress enough the advantages of the p20 over the other flagships. As for the conclusions i dont agree with them. Kirin is a very powerful chip that flies through every day tasks. Huawei focused on nighttime photography because that was the only part that seperated phones from dslrs. Daytime photography wise, even my old iphone 5c takes great photos. P20 paved the way and the other competitors try to catch up. Thats the epilogue to your review.
If I had to pick, I would still pick the Huawei Mate 10 Pro!!! Instead of P20 Pro!!
Not really a good upgrade imo!!
ShankhodeepC You, I still am very happy with my Mate 10 Pro, not many details differ that much. Mate 10 Pro will get upgraded s/w as well so I'll stick to it this year and wait for next Huawei 2019
thatoriordanlad It doesn´t really matter what phone it´s an upgrade from. Everyone still compares them to Samsung, Apple and the rest anyway.
What is the intro and outro music sir?
