Evan I would like to comment on your response to the person that asked about making a difference even though they had no major pain in their life. I agree that pain can be a big motivator and some of the greats that inspire us have survived childhood abuse and trauma, homelessness, severe bullying etc. However there are things other than pain that can motivate and the biggest one is love. Maybe that love comes from gratitude from living a peaceful, beautiful existence and wanting to give back, wanting to ease the suffering of others, believing that you are here to make the world a better place. Regardless, I see you as a leader and a role model. Someone that others may look to for guidance and that is why I wrote this comment. Everyone is here to and has the capacity to make a difference, if their road has been a little easier that doesn't mean their contribution will be less.
That being said, I enjoyed the video. I especially liked the part about how change, your example was the algorithm, can level the playing field, and can offer great opportunities if you look at it this way. Thanks for all you do, you are definitely a force for good! Much success in reaching your new goal.

I dont have a pain point in my life but I might not be driven like others and Im find with that. Im just driven by not working for anyone but myself(cause I have an immense hatred toward normal jobs), I dont need lots of money I just need enough to do what I want to do and if I make lots of money doin what I love then great.

I think most people are using their age as an excuse as to why they’re “not ready” to be successful. I’m going to flip that and use the fact that I’m young to give my perspective on what’s happening in my life while it’s still fresh in my mind, so I can move through it and help others to do the same.

Great video Evan. However I think you did some injustice to the person who told you they don’t have a ‘pain point’. People like Oprah or other globe shakers who transcended their suffering to make it big and touch the lives of millions did so so that others don’t have to have the so called ‘pain points’ that drove them. Not everybody needs to make it ‘BIG’ and become a somebody. The grandchildren of the big successes you say never go on to make anything of there lives.. do you really believe that? Perhaps they had a great sense of family and brought joy to there grandparents or parents who were very successful and helped touch one or 2 lives in there immediate circles of influence. Life is a gift and it’s not about making more than your predecessors or growing the legacy of your father/mother who’s company you inherited per say(for arguments sake).They built those things so that others didn’t have to suffer. Life isn’t always about making more than the guy before you it’s about being content and changing the lives of those around you even if it’s on a scale that doesn’t bring much fame or fortune. I think this world is bent on growing even bigger making even more than before and I think it’s missing the mark a little.
I'm not here to judge your ambitions. Do something big. Don't do anything. As long as you're happy, I'm good :) Most people aren't happy though and this is the path through.
