East coast, we used crab baskets. We set bait in the basket and through it in the water. It would open when it landed on the bottom. We caught blue claws. Sometimes we'd haul up something weird like a cowfish or sea Robin. There were also times when we'd catch 5 or 6 crabs at a time.
@@kilojeromesmith4488 got here late. Tried night time for 2 hours.. Only 2 keepers. 5 babies. Try tomorrow morning again and head back to Dallas. Hope clear lake produce tomorrow or they are all fished out. Lol
@@dunkky23 have you ever crabbed by the lunar feeding tables? Try them and they will put you on the water when they are feeding. Good luck. I’m going on Wednesday morning.

Hello! Crabbing is good during the warmer months. If it's cold, they won't eat from my experience. High tide usually produces the most :P
