Nice Sir, thank you... Previously I asked you for hair tool for new hair system, which was not incorporated to new hair system. But now you did to create quality hair style with lot of varieties 🙏😊
It's awesome that hair tools make short hair so easy. I am very happy every time your video is updated, because I can see new tutorials on hair tools again. 😀But the hairstyles I want to do are French Shark Clip Curls, bow tie half hair,Shawl Long Hair, Korean Long Curly Hair. Not sure how to arrange the hair cards to create volume. The hair cards are too close to the scalp and there is no volume. I've looked for a lot of hair tool tutorials, but just can't find the hair tutorial I'm looking for.
I have not yet made any videos about long hair but you can find few presets in hair library: joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/hair_library/ - they are all using the curves from grid technique: joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/main_workflows/hair_from_surface/ - see my previous video is about 'curves from grid'. But all depends on what level of quality u want to achieve - for really good effects, automated way may be not enough. U may need to comb these hairstyles by hand - guide strand, one by one .
Hey mate, is there a way to do like, cross-sections with the hair cards? You know how you make two together like an 'x' kinda to make the hair look fuller? That would be really helpful for the mid layer and the flyaways.
There is hacky way - if you use mesh profile -joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/hair_profiles/#mesh-profile . And there is option to generate mesh from your hair uv - then u could mix these quad meshes into X shapes, and use that as profile. But I have in plans, to implement native cross profiles.
@@bartoszstyperek6306 Fuck that sounds good. Might give it a try in the meantime while we wait. I honestly dunno how you even do all this man, you're a legend to all blender users haha
Hi, just double check - for me scalp preset is on second row (first item) - in 'sub componenets' category (folder). In worst case scenario u could use ''very short hair' preset - also from 'sub components' category.
Blender 3.0 is in use. Originally, when I use a hair tool, I use a mark sharp on the mesh, but I wanted to model it in more detail, so I modeled it with a curve. If you use a hair tool after modeling with a curve, the previously held positions will be disturbed. Is there a way to use hair tools while using the existing curve design as it is? Thank you for reading it
Nope, sorry. 'Curves from grid' will just regenerated curves from scratch - ignoring any manual tweaks. The new HTool 3.6 is way more flexible - when it comes to adding procedural effects to hair, so maybe updating to blender 3.6 and trying it out, can help.
Can you add a dreads profile, more African American styles of hair are rather difficult. Can you make tutorials on Dreads (short, long, all styles), Afros (curly, long, short,), braiding (multiple styles)
Hi, I have received request for Afros and Dreads, I'm just not sure how to make them myself. I have added two presets in to HTool hair library - joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/hair_library/ where you can see two methods curly afro hairstyle. I guess these could be converted to dreads, by switching profile from curls to cylinder (or mesh profile - where mesh is single afro clump - it will be then instanced along hair strands) ... I will keep it in mind when making new videos.
u should be able to right-click on button, and in popup select - copy command. Then go to blender prefs > Hotkeys > 3D View > Mesh > Mesh(Global> Add new hotkey with 'mira.linear_deformer' as then name of operator.
What a god-damn godsend. My only regret is that this wasn't available 2 years ago when my team had to model a lot of short hairs.
would be great to see the breakdown of the texture and shading of that character too. Looks incredible !!!
Hey thanks for all the work on this add-on and these video tutorials. They are really useful.

@@bartoszstyperek6306 ah? Oh well. So what about switching to a low ponytail and French shark clip curls ?😂

Hi! I think the new hair library you posted on 23/12/23 does not have a scalp mesh. I would love if it was added.

How did you make a shortcut for linear deformer in mira tools? I cant find solution to do so.((

why dont i have "Draw Xray" option under viewport Overlays? ua-cam.com/video/TvBw2eGsky4/v-deo.html
its extra addon - bartoszstyperek.gumroad.com/l/draw_xray , not feature of blender
🥰🥰🥰🥰
the hair doesn't render i only see wireframe yet no hair with track mesh
Does changing object display mode - to 'Textured' helps ? docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/scene_layout/object/properties/display.html .
