Love building rods it's become addictive. Mine only weigh 132 - 142gms.
I liked the fore arm measurement. I have a couple of specific ones as well.
They are the same profile reel seat that I use with a carbon fiber insert.
That is one classy looking Rod, the Gold on Black looks Mint.
My next project Gold & Black color theme.

I really love this series and learn something helpful each time. I like the idea of the shrink tube and will be using it for sure. And, those gold titanium Microwave guides are to die for. This is one build I'd love to have in my arsenal. If your not a member of the "Wave Army" this rod build will make you want to be. Keep these helpful videos coming, I can't get enough.

@@truecustomrods6937 The rod looked good when finished, l'm a bit traditional with my lure rod handles preferring cork and FPS reel fitting with an alloy butt cap and rubber button which helps with the balance of the rod, but have done some pike deadbait rods with just an FPS and Fuji butt cap.

Beautiful work on this one! Learning from the Wave Army is the way to go! I'm a big fan of the Bushido blanks - my primary redfish rod in my arsenal is the CB72/8-15.

Gary, great video. I need your professional advice on my upcoming UL project. I want to build a BFS rod using Bushido SP53/1-4 blank. For the running guides, I want to use size 4 AT Tornado Titanium guides but need your hint on what size the first two double-foot guides should be used.
