Unveiling my Driver Ratings to the World! The Story of my First 10 Races in LFM.

- I now no longer have a red rookie tag by my name on LFM. And that means I have officially completed my first 10 races inside the community, and have gained my first official driver rating! But what is that magic ELO number? Did my safety rating suffer in the pursuit of it? And how did those first 10 races unfold of me? Well in this video we recap all 10 races before revealing what my ELO and SR scores are.
There is still lots to learn however, so I look forward to the next 10 races and beyond. And if you want to keep seeing the progress, then please consider subscribing to my channel.

And I would love to know what your driver rating scores were after your first 10 races in LFM! So let me know those stories in the comments.
Race Hard, Stay Positive! See you all again in the next video!
Great video Bradley, really enjoying your content. Please keep up the good work mate. Cheers
Congrats Bradley! I just got my LFM licence this week...
Nice work! Hopefully you don't make all the mistakes I did haha.
I'm loving your content Bradley. I think it's brilliant to catch your rookie LFM journey, thank you for sharing that with us! It is quite inspirational to me as well, being a rather small streamer myself.
Definitely in the beginning of the video with the first couple of races, I saw you were struggling a bit with setups and such. Your pressures were a bit off and the TC and ABS as well. Good to see that you got that better later in the video. ACC/LFM is a rabbithole, but a very enjoyable one once you get things right. I'm looking forward to catch more of your content.
Thank you so much mate! Your comments mean a lot! I have been getting so much helpful advice from the community, and its really helping me get up to speed. Plus it feels great that other beginners are benefiting from that help as well. The comments section is more valuable then the video I think haha. But lots to learn, so into the rabbithole we go!
@@BradleySettersMotorsport If I learned one thing about the simracing community, it's that it is one of the best communities out there. And it's brilliant to see that you are about to create your own around it. And I'm sure you will end up as a very fast and skilled simracer. The learnincurve is steep, but so is learning the Dutch language I suppose?
I've just started getting serious about simracing and have ACC. I'm a ways from attempting online racing. You are very motivating and inspiring. Love the channel!
I felt a lot of pressure in my first few races. I wanted to perform, but I really didn't want to mess it up for others. After a few though, it gets less stressful. Just got to jump in a give it a go!
Hi Bradley,
thank you so much for sharing your journey with us :) !!! Really inspiring!!! Remembers me so much the time back in GTR2 when I made my first online experiences, with all the ups und downs, the frustration and the highlights.
But now - isn`t it time to create your own community? I mean, the number of followers is obviously constantly growing and the potential for a (sorry) beginners career, showing all the problems and amazing moments is really great and no doubt you have the talent to present it! At least from my point of view. Why don`t you invite the big number of beginners and amateurs to live watching your way? To grow together and have fun together? And even more - let`s race together to learn from eacht other and have fun!
Well - at least I would take part immediately :)
Just think about it ;)
Roy
Hi Roy! Thank you once again for your kind comments. The support on the channel has been incredible, and really cant believe its still less then 2 weeks old! Certainly it has made me think that some of the long term plans for the channel, will change to short term plans. Lots of work behind the scenes, and hopefully we can get the ball rolling in those sort of areas. Your comments gives me a lot of motivation to keep pushing!
So cool to see you starting your Journey on ACC and LFM. I started 2 months ago, bought my first 'real' Sim wheel, before i had a Logitech Momo racing for about 10 years. 😂 My new passion started by visiting the 24h of Grüne Hölle, Camping with Friends. I got absolutely hooked in Motorsports, especially GT3.
I have to say that you're quite talented, my First Sessions definitely looked worse haha. But i found pace and developed some racecraft, so i got podiums on Paul Ricard, where i got my license and also Zolder, which is a favourite of mine.
Looking forward to improving alongside with you and I hope we'll meet sometime for a clean, fair and fast race!
Oh you picked a great event to get hooked on motorsport! I've watched that race for years from NZ, and now I'm in Europe the hope is to get there next year! I was at Spa 24hr this year, and nothing beats GT3 Endurance racing. That's why I love ACC! Hope to see you in a race soon!
A handy hint for finding your pit box when other cars are in your way is to switch your view to outside the car.
Another great video mate.
Great tip! I think I need to change some of the buttons on my wheel to make that easier to use. Thanks for the comment!
@@BradleySettersMotorsport you're welcome.
Thanks for the entertainment.
Jardier has a video about how to pit in ACC. Might be worth watching as he has a few nice tips. Also might be worth binding some buttons to your wheel so you can get your pit setup ready before you go in
Congrats mate, im to a beginner and loving it
That wrong pit entry is so funny had it myself tooo but somewhere else that I just didn't find the pit entry for 3 laps lol
You got to just laugh right? Classic moment, and I'm sure I will make a similar mistake again at some point haha. Can you remember what track you had that issue with?
the ferrari at 14:40 decided to become a beyblade instead lol
That describes it so well! haha
Mate your doing great!big fat like from me!
Thank you so much!
9:34 i think you apply the brake too much on the entry right there, the angle is i think pretty much correct, but try to brake earlier and apply less brake on the entry there. As a beginner myself i love seeing your videos. Keep up the good work, we're behind you every step of the way💪
Yea this was an awkward situation for me. I think I held onto the brakes to long trying to be careful of the cars in front. I was normally quicker through there, but losing the rear was really unexpected! Appreciate the support mate!
thumbs up :)
Classic Donington pit entry mistake.
Got to share the laughs. Ill probably have a whole video of them in 6 months time haha.
Nice vid. How do you find out how much damage you have?
I drive the Mac too and Ive found shifting a lot earlier than you are is quicker.
I had wondered this. Engine note starts to die off at the very top of the RPM range I noticed, but have never seen any advise to shift earlier. I will give that a go! Thank you!
You're braking too early for turn one at Monza @15.50 you can brake another 20m later. I aim for the 150m board but you can brake later and trail brake into turn one if you have no one on the inside.
Hi can you please share your graphic setting ❤😊
I’m good at monza but monza also wasn’t good to me… every t1. I got hit then in the rain on last lap with p6 I hit the curb and spun into a wall. Ironically also when I went into the pit I got smashed from someone bh me but I was now about to enter the limit section so basically dude bh me would have oversped.
How have you been setting up the car for races? Setups in ACC are the hardest part for me
Yea its so hard to get your head around. Redbull ring and Spa were just some ride height adjustments and max rear wing. But Monza and Donnington Park I was starting to use some UA-camrs free set ups. I'm planning to do a video at some point to sort of compare them abit. But yea its still a big struggle for me.
There are people here on YT making very good setups. Just search for ACC and track + car you drive. Most of the time there is a link in the title description.
I haven't raced in monza in almost two years. Cursed track for me.
Yea it can go wrong so easily! I will need to be brave the next time it comes up in the LFM schedule.
loved thid documentry of your first 10 races , assume you are now out of rookies?
Getting close. Need the SR over 5.0 to officially get out of rookies. But should be able to get it over the line before the new LFM season! Just got to stay out of trouble in these crazy off season events haha
I also started with ACC after nearly a year of ac. Do you know If Theres a Minimum age to Join LFM?
i mean its not like they ask for your id.
@@ItzBrooksFTW does that mean there ist a Minimum age?
@@yxkusa shouldnt be
I had never considered this question haha. Only thing I can see is that you need a Steam account to access LFM. And you need to be 13 to have a Steam account. Hope that helps!
I mean im 15 right now and thought i read Something about 16 but i couldnt find anything saying that anymore. Thanks anyways great Videos!
