Spearfishing NY - April 2023 first fish

The fourth time I go in the water in 2023, the first catch. the weather has been stormy, and windy, and the visibility poor.
The water is now 13C/55F which makes a big difference. I am comfortable with the 5mm suit, 3mm socks, and gloves. 3C warmer than a few days ago makes a big difference.
I got this blackfish at the beginning. Easy shot. Just at the 16-inch/40cm minimum legal size. Great to cook whole in the oven.
I took the Salvimar Vuoto 55cm, the shortest speargun, given the poor visibility of the past days. Today it was not bad, but when the tide started turning it stirred up all the sediment.
