Loved the commentary. Absolute filth! I've got 3 big black boxes in the loft, dozens of games and the plug-in travel pack with screen. We used to hit them with compressed air and clean the dvd lens to get a few more months out of them, but they all died in the end. Cheers for the video. Nice one 👍

I fixed dozens of those original Microsoft Xbox consoles I clean fix inspect refurbish repair restore sanitize and reapply new fresh thermal paste on the central processing unit and graphics processing unit
Don't suppose you could fix mine? lol : / I bought a new game for it along with a RCA to HDMI converter and the disks would never read and the disk drive sounded like it was murdering the disks so out of my own stupidity i smack the top of the xbox and idk what the heck happened but I get no display and when i try to turn it on, it act like it wants to turn on but shuts off n on within 7 seconds and on the third try it blinks green n then flashs green/red
I have a PC that can play all the latest titles but I'm not interested in modern games. All the B.S, micro transactions, pay to win, games broken at launch, wokeness etc... I'll stick to the retro... 👌
What?? You realise the reason to get these old consoles is to play the games and for nostalgia or having a cool piece in a collection. Halo 1 and 2 are infinitely better (pun intended) than halo infinite.

I assume you remove the clock capacitor and check the other capacitors around the unit.
